A hotel located in the center of Oval. Close to all facilities, 5 kilometers from the beach. Very nice staff. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. The price/performance ratio is very good. I recommend.
The staff was very careful and friendly, always careful to the guest, we loved the hotel, and we will certainly return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor pool.
I really like the hotel, super comfortable, nice, clean. The only negative detail is that they ask you to bring a swimming cap to use the pool, I'm not saying it's bad, but who brings a swimming cap when travelling? Otherwise everything is very nice... Very attentive and friendly those who serve at reception
Very quiet hotel. Despite the magnificent building, all the staff are very close to the guests and care about their happiness. This time I stayed in a superior room with large windows. The area and direct light of the toilet are all you like. The restaurant offers a balanced buffet, exquisite breakfast and everything you want. Restaurant service and decent breakfast. The reception staff have excellent professionalism and a very friendly attitude. I recommend
The room is okay, the town is relatively small, very close to the town center, walked to find a restaurant, and saw a Chinese-owned friendship mall. Prices are relatively low in Europe, and I feel safe.
- Located at the center of city. Parking's free. Staffs are nice and helpful.
- Room's been renovated recently but looks a bit outdated and old fashioned. Air conditioning needs to be cleaned.
- Shower booth needs plumbing.
- Claustrophobic would never use a toilet in the room.
- Not a worst hotel, yet not worthy of spending 200-300 euros per night.
The hotel service remains 100%.
The staff are always helpful and attentive, the breakfast is always very good and varied. The comfort of the room is excellent, as is the cleanliness. The gardens are well-maintained, and the pool and jacuzzi always have warm water. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, with the Caima River right next to the hotel, great for walks or bike rides.
In the restaurant, the service has been improving; you no longer have to wait as long to be served as before. As for the quality of the food, in my opinion (since I am a frequent customer of the hotel/restaurant), it is still far below what it once was, which was very good.
Overall, for me, the hotel is an excellent place for a relaxing getaway.
Environment: The surrounding environment is not bad, the overall feeling is good
Hygiene: The sanitation of the hotel room is still possible
Facilities: not very good, generally there should be some
Service: Service is not bad

Very Good
GGuest UserThis is a hotel with good facilities. The staff were friendly and the breakfast/dinner was delicious. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom is good, so I would recommend it.
II like coffeeVery satisfied, I had a good rest last night! In the morning, I walked out of the balcony and saw the blue sky and sea. I could almost see the American coast on the other side of the sea, and the first rainbow of 2024. I am full of hope and confidence in the future.!
BBelmarAll perfect, cleaning, facilities and, above all, the staff of the hotel, a 10 for them. For putting a but, the variety of buffet, could be wider. The bed was very comfortable and, the large and clean room. Thanks for everything.
JJanusz z OlsztynaIf someone is looking for a non-commercial place, but at the same time warm, friendly and naturally composed, then this is a 100% sure choice: without the advantage of form over substance, excellent cuisine (I recommend buying the HB option, it's worth it!), very friendly staff, no crowds and full harmony with the surrounding nature. The location on the lagoon itself adds an additional touch of nature. Away from the hustle and bustle, without rushing. You may get the impression that time slows down here a bit, or maybe it flows differently?

SSaabFanaticThe hotel was able to accommodate a slightly early check in. The room itself was clean but the carpet stained.
Outdoor pool was under renovations and made use of the indoor pool and hot tub (make sure to reserve a time slot upon check in).
There is free parking on the street or in an underground garage that has a very steep ramp.
Breakfast was decent and had eggs, mushrooms, sausage, yogurt, and pastries. The coffee could have been better.
JJiugetaiyangThe room is well equipped. You can cook and it is close to the beach. There is a casino next door and the ticket to the casino is 20 euros.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is really good. The room has a river view. The Moliceira cruise ship terminal is just opposite. There are many restaurants around. The hotel breakfast environment is elegant and comfortable. The Boteca restaurant recommended by the front desk staff has fresh ingredients and the price is reasonable. I will stay again next time I go to Aveiro👍
MMadalena Dias dos SantosFabulous. Impeccable service and staff, spa with very good heated pool. Sauna and jacuzzi included in the spa. The spa was free for guests to enter. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the chef deserves a Michelin star at the very least. It was simply divine. The breakfast was also very good. What an unforgettable experience, we felt as if we had enjoyed first class service in the 1920s. The whole atmosphere makes the guest feel like they are traveling back in time with all the luxury. The rooms are modern and comfortable. I've been to many guesthouses, but I've never been to a place like this that met all the requirements and gave that feeling of lost luxury. A jewel to (re)discover. The best historic hotel in Portugal. I will definitely be back very soon as there is no other palace hotel or guesthouse that comes close to this one.
