+ Great location + Fantastic Breakfast + Lovely harbour view and while it was down to luck, we enjoyed the northern lights from the comforts of our room. - Restaurant was really busy. No system in the morning and the staff hanging around are mostly there to clean up the used dishes. There should be a queue system when the restaurant is full. Additionally, night time service seems to be overwhelmed with tour (cruise?) group and conference guests, which is understandable especially if you don’t have a reservation. But staffers should inform diners if it would take more than an hour to serve the food. - Reception not always the friendliest, though they do try to be helpful.

An unpretentious but comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location in central Tromso (the third photo is the view from the hotel window). Highlights include the friendly staff (a shout out here to the ever helpful Petter), tasty and healthy breakfast, and comfortable sitting areas that mean you don't have to hang out in your room. Given the quality of the hotel it is surprising - and highly annoying - that they don't provide kettles in the room (I even offered to pay a deposit), the more frustrating because some photos on the site show coffee machines: so some rooms do have these facilities. The selection of toiletries is also surprisingly meagre - no shower gel for example, which seems unnecessarily cheapskate. My other gripe is that they need more individual tables in the breakfast room: finding a space at a long table feels reminiscent of youth hostelling... With these shortcomings noted, the hotel can be recommended and is good value for Tromso.

1. The hotel is conveniently located and the experience is very pleasant! The hotel is conveniently located in the city center and within walking distance to various attractions and restaurants. This makes my journey more convenient and fun. 2. The hotel front desk service is friendly and enthusiastic. I had some issues during my stay but the hotel staff were always happy to help me out. They provided useful information and advice and made me feel well looked after. 3. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant is great! Enjoy a variety of delicious food and drinks every morning. They offer a wide variety of options, both hot and cold, to suit all tastes. Breakfast helps me start my day with energy. 4. The hotel room was comfortable and clean, making me feel at home. The bed was very comfortable and the room layout and facilities were very satisfactory. I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the hotel.

A hotel that is located conveniently to many pick up points for tours. Grocery stores, 7-11 and restaurants are also located nearby. Simple amenities such as shampoo/body soap, towels, hairdryer are available. Love it that there is breakfast and dinner that comes together with your stay. Nothing too fancy but good enough to fill your bellies considering the restaurants are quite pricey. You will need to get hot water on your own at the dispenser as there are no kettle in the room. Reception was always friendly in answering any questions, and even helped with my cab booking to the airport. Worth it for the price, would stay here again.

Great hotel in the heart of Tromsø. It’s next to a really great pizza restaurant (Yonas) and it has a beautiful view of the fjord and mountain. Breakfast was good and the room was comfortable.

Good location near the airport by local bus within 5 min. View of the mountain is very nice. The staffs are helpful. The room is clean and everything is good except there is no amenities, besides body wash, shampoo and conditioner which is pretty enough.

I didn’t read my email. They sent an email after 8pm informing us our key details as we check in at 11:15pm. Everything is so good, key pick up, drive to room and park beside our cabin. U can view stars from the room ceiling window. There’s a balcony with table and chairs, view of snowy mountains, damn beautiful. We drove out at night away 20mins from cabin and found our fist northern lights at 1:20am super excited!!! This lodge is fantastic we will back to stay if we come back to Tromso.

The room was clean and tidy. It took me a few days to find out that the bathroom had floor heating. There was no choice in food. There was only a hotel restaurant and a supermarket that had to be walked for a long time to find one.

We were amazed by the breakfast of the hotel, which is the best I’ve tried in Europe. And the gym is big and many gym facilities you can use, but it’s few streets away from the hotel. Beside the room is clean and spacious. We love the hotel, and sure will stay again when we visit Tromso again!
