The Apartments Company - the Sweet
4.2/578 Reviews
Such a gorgeous place to stay! We stayed here for 4 nights for our time in oslo. We pre ordered early check in (subject to availability) and just phoned the day before to see if it was available- luckily it was. The apartments are beautiful, all mod cons and wonderfully clean. Our 11 year old daughter slept on the sofa bed and said it was fine. One of the nicest showers I've ever had! Close to the tram, a lovely Bakery (Baker hansen) super market (kiwi) and fab Italian restaurant (olivia) as well as many other shops. We made use of the washing machine and tumble dryer which were very useful (we took a couple of fairy washing capsules with us). On the last day they were happy for us to leave our bags. I cannot recommend The Sweet enough, a beautiful place to stay in a great location with helpful staff. 5 stars!

When I checked in, the front desk didn't check that I paid on Ctrip, so I made a mistake... I received a refund when I returned to the room (I saw some reviews saying this, so friends who check in should pay attention) But everything else is good! The service at the front desk and the restaurant is very nice The room is not big but very clean (please bring your own toiletries and slippers, which are not provided here in Northern Europe) Breakfast is one of the highlights here. The omelette mixed with mashed potatoes is worth trying. The other flavors are also very good and rich! And not very salty... God knows I would be killed by the salt in Norway The location is also very good, 5 minutes walk to the train station, next to Munch and the Opera House There is a Japanese ramen restaurant nearby, which is also delicious~ In short, it is a good choice
Numa I Hallen Apartments

Oslo City Center
Not a good experience at Numa Hallen. NOT RECOMMENDED. Rooms are big, clean and quiet. However, the “hotel” is not supported by any staff. The digital check in failed initially. We did not receive the check in email as advised. Maybe if you book directly with Numa, not a third party like Trip, this might work. Don’t know. We rang the web site and Trip advertised phone number to get a check in email. It is disconnected. This defect is recorded in previous reviews, Does anyone read these complaints? Read the previous reviews and noted the WhatsAPP number to be found at door front. Was ready for this we thought. The WhatsAPP number only has a virtual attendant. So no verbal communication available only short text messages readable. Jumped through many hoops and eventually received our check in details on the kerb outside the hotel. Thought we would be sleeping on the street for a while. Once inside we noted the big sign in kitchen about leaving a window open when cooking. Next morning all fire alarms in the hotel section went off. A closed window somewhere perhaps. Alarm couldn’t be shut off so we evacuated with our bags like many others. Guess it must happen often due to the prominence of the sign. The experience wasn’t good and is a great example of technology making life more difficult. The quest to remove people from hospitality jobs diminishes the hospitality aspect. It also leaves no backup except for meaningless, valueless, unaccountable apologies. The communications failures and fire alarm intrusion are significant infrastructure short comings. Wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel was easy to find from Oslo S, the central train station. (It's less than a 10 minute walk away.) Check in was quick and easy. I was anticipating storing my luggage until check in, but my room was ready when I arrived. Yes, the room is a little dated, but it was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. (There were 3-4 steps that I had to walk to get to my room.). They do have hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the bathroom, which I loved. The bed was comfortable. I didn't eat breakfast there, but the buffet looked like it had a lot of choices. I did eat cake in the afternoon and it was delicious. The evening meal looked good, but I was usually gone until close to the end of it. (The idea that a hotel serves you breakfast, cake in the afternoon, and dinner is unique.). The location is very convenient to most of Oslo, so I only took public transport once. The people at the front desk were very nice and helped me figure out the best way to get my flight out. Overall, I loved this hotel and will definitely stay again!
Thon Hotel Storo

This is an exceptional hotel for quality and service. We were able to check in early to a spacious room with all the extras, hair dryer, mini bar, snacks, iron facilities and drinks tray. Great comfy beds and bathroom facilities. The car park is underground accessible from the rear of the hotel and is secure with a lift to directly within the hotel The breakfast is vast and great quality with the chefs regularly doing quality control of the food and dining staff efficiently clearing tables. We ate in the restaurant and it was good quality. I must mention the young man who served us as his customer service was exceptional not to mention his cocktail mixing skills! Nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff were really helpful in helping us with the public transport and although the hotel is located on the perimeter of the city both tram and bus stops were located within minutes of the hotel and we’re easy to navigate with the routers app. All the staff we came into contact with were both helpful and professional and were all good ambassadors for the hotel group. I would not hesitate in a heart beat to recommend this hotel, thank you for the service.
Radisson Blu Hotel Nydalen, Oslo

This facility created solid value for my wife and I visiting our son's family here last September, and for me again this May. Located immediately adjacent to both the Tube and bus stops is hugely efficient for getting around, which is rarely more than 5-6 Rube stops or 6-8 bus stops. The ability to use both systems at a single location is great. The 'built-in' shopping complex, and the overall adjacent restaurants, create a 'village' feel that really keeps the travel time, cost and effort down. The riverside walk, especially down the Aker river to the harbourfront, makes for a long ”downtown” day, but it's so worth it. And I'm 75, recovering from 2 knee-replacement surgeries!

Oslo City Center
Super location. Right next to oslo city mall and central station and all transport and entertainment food options. This is a modern hotel (or very thoroughly renovated). Entrance was very busy or maybe because I was there at around 2 pm. Very nice looking lobby with lots of seating spaces and good vibes. An Andy Warhol is a. Ice touch. Check in was smooth but room was not ready so I kept my bags in their bag room. It was ready when I came back at around 240. Elevator is a combination of using your card and entering your floor on a touch screen so don’t just hop in with someone else. Room was really modern, hip and user friendly. Smart tv, lots of storage spaces and big bathroom. The view was of the inner courtyard so not much. Bed was very comfortable and really overall liked the room a lot. Depending on your room number it could be a bit of a walk from the elevator so keep that in mind. I tried out the basement level which had sauna, pool, gym. Gym looked good but didn’t use and the sauna was very nice. The pool is round, very small and about the only negative of the hotel. Forget laps, you can sort of float around but even that becomes a problem if 2 or 3 people are in there. I wanted to see the views from the top so went to their restaurant and must say had a wonderful time. I wrote a separate review on Norda but suffice to say it was well worth the visit just for the views alone and the food was very good as well. Finally the breakfast was something else. Honestly I doubt if anyone can try out all the dishes as there are so many. Quality stuff I must add, different types of salmon, avocado halves(!) and what not. Really something to behold. Overall though definitely not cheap, I really liked the modern aesthetic, the prime location and excellent room facilities and the breakfast and Norda were just icing on the cake.

Great service and company in the bar from restaurant manager Elena, talking train rides and work - classy here 🙌👍 Instead of sitting waiting for the train in the central station, take a 2 min walk to Thon across the taxi area. Calm and welcoming

It is a rare find to come across a hotel as wonderful as the Att Revier. I stayed for five nights in September for a work trip with a some time to explore Oslo while I was there. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean tastefully decorated and well equipped but what stands out is the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful but particular thanks is given to Wilhem and to Hakon. Having stayed at similar concept hotels with apps and no reception it was a pleasant surprise to see how engaged the staff were. My only regret is that I didn't get to check out all the in-house restaurant options or the rooftop Yoga class. It was an added bonus to have laundry facilities and a really cool lobby and workspace to spend the mornings with great coffee. I hope to return one day with my family to this wonderful gem of a place.

We where positively surprised by this fantastic and beautiful hotel in the hart of Oslo, recommended by friends. Just in the middle of everything and close to anything. Beautiful, stylish and modern room, and I even have highlight the quality of soap and shampoo in the bathroom from Rituals!😅 Great breakfast and breakfast facilities, could even make your own waffles🤗 Top score and I recommend it to anyone visiting Oslo, business or pleasure. 10 out of 10👍🏻 (only missed water or soft drinks in the minibar and an ironing kit in the room 😉)
