We recently held a retirement dinner for a colleague at Raia Hotel Kuching. The ambiance was elegant, and the staff were attentive, ensuring a smooth event. The food was delicious and well-presented, but the portions were somewhat insufficient for our group size. Overall, it was a memorable evening, but better portion planning would enhance the experience.

Love to stay here because the mattress is comfy and clean make me feel relax. The air-conditioning is good too! Easy to go shopping at supermarket there. Just that only the swimming pool is quite hot bcos it's outdoor.

Hello everyone, I took my wife mother and my 1 year old son to Meili for a holiday. The hotel is really beautiful with all kinds of modern facilities. The breakfast was quite good (although the three of us only gave 2 coupons). But the hotel facilities are quite good. The only problem is that there are few halal restaurants nearby. It would be best if renting a car here and parked at the hotel. (We rented for three days), other facilities are good. We prefer the cheap rooms so the rooms don’t have a good view (actually in the middle of the corridor.) Overall the experience was quite good.

Stayed at the Mega Hotel during the last trip. It is a 290 rooms, 4 star hotel situated at the centre of town. It is conveniently located near eateries, pubs and retail outlets. Check in was a breeze into spacious twin bedded corner room 329. Room is well appointed and furnished complete with most basic amenities. Morning breakfast is served at the Chatterbox Cafe . It has a wide spread of breakfast choices from western to local dishes. Breakfast is up to the culinary standard. Hotel has a curvilinear layout swimming pool on the 11th floor which offers breath-taking view of the city skyline day and night. Function Rooms and gymnasium are located on the 4th floor. Despite some noises disturbance from the Discotheque across the street, overall the hotel is well recommended due to its central location.

Stays in this hotel for two days , quite comfortable, thought there will be bathtub but maybe my mistake didn't fully read the description,Foods can be improved more,expect they read my written note that i have written. One thing can makes the guests coming back is good foods.May i suggest Kingwood to make one special dish that can be related to Kingwood names ,and can be order at almost all of it hotels,resorts...But you must keeps the quality tip top...

Stayed at a hotel just opposite the famous Cat Statue in Kuching, and overall, it was a decent experience. The location is definitely the highlight – everything is within walking distance, and there’s even a sampan service right behind the hotel, which made it really convenient to explore the area. The room itself was okay. The aircond worked well – maybe a bit too well since it was freezing cold at times. The bed was on the harder side, not exactly my preference. The bathroom looked a bit dated, with a bathtub included, but honestly, I would’ve preferred a separate shower and tub. However, one thing that could be improved is the bathrobe – it was way too thin. Breakfast was okay, especially since they served local favorites like Sarawak Laksa and Kolo Mee. In short, great location, decent breakfast, but the room comfort could be better. Perfect for a short stay if you want easy access to tourist spots.

Surrounded in lush and greens, with a nice ocean view. This resort is old, be prepared for it.. but i had a good night sleep. Breakfast is basic, nothing fancy but i ate well. Thanks for the hospitality extended by the hotel staff.

Reserved the standard room for my relatives without breakfast for two nights and the feedback from the stay was excellent . The front desk officers were informative and attentive to all their requests during the stay . The facilities of the hotel were comprehensive where they greatly enjoyed the swimming pool with an awesome City and Sea view as the backdrop . The wide array of shopping and dining options offered by the adjoining mall were the extra bonuses ! All in all , a very enjoyable and relaxing staycation!! A big shoutout to the friendly staff of Meritz Hotel ! Keep up the big smile 😊!!!

We really love everything, starting from the hotel design and it is very clean. The carpark is really something new, that your car will be lifted into the building, should be one of its kind in Miri. Overall, it is a good experience..

Just walking distance from Miri airport, this hotel is a real gem. The rooms are well-designed and well-lit (most hotel rooms are too dim for me), complete with ceiling fan so we could just open the window and enjoy natural air; and we loved the breakfast place with its high ceilings and good spread. Staff too are very nice; and special kudos to bell-boy/shuttle van driver Charles Ta. He was so nice and helpful (we were carrying a fair amount of baggage + two kids) - even getting us trolleys at the airport and, after all that, he graciously declined my tip saying he was just happy to do his job well. I hope the hotel management is reading this - please do compliment him.

Stayed here for 2 nights. All are good except the pillows. The rooms overlooking the river are awesome. Awesome view to watch the sunset & sunrise from the rooftop. Foods were average. As with other hotels struggling from the devastating effect of covid & now making recovery, there were plenty of maintenance jobs to be done to the property.

Check-in was grand; reception was friendly and efficient. The room and kitchen was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We have all toiletries provided with extra towels & pillows. The master bedroom has a clean bath-tub. Toilets are clean; they don't smell like Merdeka Palace; that's the most important thing. But we were very disappointed with the breakfast: lack of variety, not enough seats; we have to wait for our turn to eat. Also not a proper place to eat. I would come again but will not take the breakfast package.

I opted for Riverside Majestic Astana Wing as my quarantine stay. From the moment I was picked up to the stay itself, the service has been great. I am currently still staying in my Deluxe King room on the 15th floor (the bed is super comfortable!). By all account, select the river view room. Each even the sky turns into a magical hue of oranges, the most beautiful sunset. A stay would not be great if not for the service. I would like to call out Amos Chong who checked me in upon arrival. His customer service is personable and with lots of attention to detail. He has the ability to make you feel like as if you're a returning VIP even if its just your first stay. Kudos also goes out to Ivy from the restaurant. Each morning she greets with such delight and would address me by name. She's definitely a ray of sunshine. I cant wait to meet her once I get out of quarantine. I definitely would be back and would recommend friends to stay here. For the two excellent staff, Amos and Ivy, I hope you get recognize for the 5 star hospitality you show.

Looks 4 stars from outside and the lobby but the rooms do need an overhaul and thorough wipe-down. Booked a suite and it was huge but space not utilised properly and had odd corners and mismatched (ugly/dated, more like). Alot of dust on overhead shelves so if you flick dustballs scatter and fall like large snowflakes only they are grey and fuzzy. carpet was so stained i automatically uttered: omg somebody was murdered here when i entered and got scolding from family. But for the pricepoint, there really shouldnt be complaints. it is quite cheap - even considering kuching prices. oh the kitchen was dark but the fact that there even was a kitchen at this price shd be a huge consolation - even if the freezer was mouldy and there was a layer of water collecting. But other than these physical attributes, service was pretty good. counter staff were polite and accommodating. no breakfast included in price but it is very cheap. even that we didnt have bfast there cos the restaurant looked a bit sad with no customers eating there. Location-wise - its convenient, near shopping mall and the new pedestrian bridge over kuching river. and just a short distance from the river promenade. Oh, stayed during the mooncake festival fiesta which was located within walking distance - 2 blocks down road so was a very convenient stay. Beds were comfortable and surprisingly clean so that's all that mattered at the end of the day. We were comfortable after all said.

All is good..The apartment was spacious,clean and good for families to stay in..The hosts Nick also very helpful n responsive too when my hubby call him to ask some question..Thank you so much Nick..Me & family feel very happy with your apartment🤗🥰

We stayed 4 nights in Kuching and did day trips to Semenggoh and Bako from there. With Grab you can easily get a driver to the places you want to visit. The appartment was clean and relatively big. We had a small kitchen and even washing machine there. The mall directly next and many shops were comfortable! We can recommend the flat for a short stay in Kuching. The only drawback: my bed always made the sound when moving, but despite that I really enjoyed the place there. They also have a really big TV with Netflix for rainy days in Kuching, which was nice when we didn't know what to do for some hours. ;)

Exceptional hospitality! First of all, there was 4 of us traveling. Two of our friends couldn’t make it to the trip. The rest of the two of us were given an upgrade to suite room!! Room was very clean, beautiful and everything we needed. We were so given a front entrance parking- which was amazing for us. Second of all, the staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We appreciate the warm welcome, the complimentary drinks upon arrival and damp towel given for us to wipe- it makes us feel very royal lol! Overall, we want to thank the general manager and staff for the great experience and comfortable stay. Definitely looking forward to staying at this hotel next time. I highly recommend!

Can you atleast do another aircond controller near the bed area. It will be an ease for guests to change the temperature. Its pretty tiresome to get up and walk to the controller to change temperature if its too cold or hot when lie down on the bed. I booked through agoda and request a lot such as high floor room, bath tub, sea view. Im surprised that they actually gave what i requested. Its a good stay. The toilet was clean.

Came for a wedding & stayed for 5 nights. Wedding Reception was in this hotel so this is why we chose it. All the things provided as you would expect from a luxury hotel. It meet our expectations. There is a mall next door and a hair dresser and nail salon within walking distance. Also local cafes and eateries if you want to save money (we did not buy the breakfast package; preferring local foods for breakfast & lunch). Dinners with our local families
