This hotel is conveniently location in the Prai area; close to the highway - access via car or Grab is easy. It is also 6km away from Penang Central for access to the Ferry. Check in was convenient and easy but staff has to update their knowledge on hotel, facility, bookings and room perks; and also the surroundings because clients might ask for information. Room was superspacious, internet was somewhat stable but had trouble accessing some of my work pages (probably network security). Despite looking modern, its also a bit runned down where some furnitures needing a refresh and touch ups (see picture). Bed and linens were spacious and comfortable and airconditioning was manageable. Bathroom was okay with the cute toiletries provided (really cute). My room type comes with free minibar so they refreshed it daily. TV screen is huge but channel selection was limited. Breakfast buffet was mediocre at best but staff were always ever present. The doorman and security are kindest at the hotel.

St Giles Wembly is a great hotel to stay in. I stayed for 3 nights and it felt like home. Sheets and bed were soft and comfortable, floor and furnishing were kept clean after housekeeping cleaned, and the lifts come really quickly. I also loved how the front desk and the staffs were always very welcoming and warm, making every interaction like speaking to a friend. While the hotel looked old, furnishings are very well maintained. For instance, the ventilation in the toilet was so good that the floor dries after a few hours. My only gripe is that while the water pressure is strong, the hot water doesn't come immediately, instead it takes a good 5 mins of running water before I get some form of warm / lukewarm water. The waiting time does get longer after midnight, where the water is just ice cold. Weirdly, the bath tub water gets warm faster than the shower? Which was kind of weird. I also had the opportunity to try the breakfast buffet. While I saw plenty of reviews commending that the breakfast is good, I believe it was sufficient for a local taste, and provided enough quantity. However, the buffet setup was quite cramp and unevenly spaced. The hotel also hosts a bar on the roof, which had a nice view of the city. I ordered a Guinness Stout and got the server to pour for me. I ended up getting a flat stout 🫠🫠🫠. Nevertheless, my stay at St Giles has been great, and I would love to return in the near future.

Bayview Beach Resort Penang was an excellent choice for our family stay. The Family Suite was spacious, comfortable, and offered great value for money. The breakfast was delicious, though the selection was limited. The hotel’s family-friendly atmosphere made it a relaxing and enjoyable experience for everyone. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 3 nights. The room lacks the fine amenities suited of a beach front resort hotel. For example, there were neither room sandals nor outdoor towels provided. What was provided instead was an ironing board but without the iron which is more suited for a business hotel. The bathroom towels provided on the 2nd and 3rd days smelled which indicates that it was not properly cleaned. Housekeeping did not clear away all the empty food packages that were nicely arranged to assist clearing by the housekeeper (and we tipped). We have indicated that it was a honey moon stay, but no arrangement was made by the hotel to make the experience memorable. I would say the cleanliness is average, which makes for an average stay. Choose only sea front view as hill view just looks at the main road.

The location of the hotel is outside the city center. Quite difficult for those who don’t have a car. However, it is easy to get a Grab. Just wait for 5 minutes to get a Grab. The breakfast is super good. Stayed there for 3 days, and the main dishes change every day. Nice and cosy place. During the stay, need to check in at the temporary office because it is under construction. The room is ok not super but but needs to be improved on the condition of the room. Overall, if you intend to stay for relaxing, this is the place.

Not advisable if you have babies with you. The wifi was not reliable too. The utensils and kitchenware are available upon request. We stayed with the Ascott group numerous times for its cleanliness and well-maintained facilities around the world, and Citadines Connect Georgetown is no exception. The building is renovated from a historical building which gives the hotel a mixture of cultural and contemporary vibe. It's a 3-story newly-built hotel and everything you see is brand new and tidy. The lobby is not large, but there are plentiful spaces to rest for a while. The room we stayed in is Studio Executive, and it's clean enough. The air-conditioning system utilized a touch panel for you to easily adjust to your liking. There are no drinking bottles inside the room but a water dispenser is just in the hallway, both environment-friendly and convenient. One of the things worthy of notice is the tap water system, where hot and cold water may be installed conversely. The hotel itself is located around minutes walk from Komtar neighborhood, and you can easily take buses to the airport or to other areas of Penang via the Komtar terminal. Several malls are also in this area to give you the convenience of shopping. The well-known hawker food centre at Lebuh Presgrave crossroad is also close by, where you can easily grab most of the famous and delicious local dishes here. CAT bus station is also not far from the hotel, and you can tour the UNESCO sites with it for a day trip. Overall, it's an excellent choice to stay here for its brand-new facilities, and its convenience regarding transportation, shopping, and dining.

Hotel was strategically located near to Jetty Chew - a lot of amenities were available. Room was prepared excellently and service was great! Breakfast was sumptuous as well! Will definitely do a return visit here!

Arriving in the hotel and checking in was simple, friendly and fuss free. They were kind to my requests and assigned me a high floor sea view room, thank you. JASMEEN at the front office is very helpful, friendly and kind. My room is beautiful and the size is just nice, i only wish the bathroom has a view instead of sealed up in frosted glass. The spa and swimming pool is on the 11 floor, the pool is very refreshing to swim in the afternoon, but it would have been nicer to face the sea than the city. Breakfast is very delicious, the host Mr.BALU is always there, smiling and guiding you to your table. BOHARAJ also serves everyone with a smile. I enjoy my stay here very much for 5 days and 4 nights. I will stay here again when i come back to Penang. The location is very good as it is just a short walk away to all the great street food !

This is my fourth time im here ! Before this i stay at studio room, this time i stay at 2 bedroom, spacious room and clean room! I love so much stay here. staff friendly, all complete amenities.

Great location! local market, sunway carnival mall, Billion shopping centre, medical centre, government clinic, f&b, temple of worships all just within walking distance. ample of parking but without cover. You will be getting wet when walk to take your car during rainy day. Free parking and must be validate your card every time before go out. The room is clean. Book & requested for an extra bed(within RM100 per night), pay at hotel when check-in.
