4-Star Hotels in Casablanca-Settat, Morocco

I went to onomo for the weekend. The hotel is located in a central place. The decorations is very nice and chic. I had a wonderful breakfast served by houssam and Jalal very helpful smiling professional and funny. A soon as I wanted to bring something it was already on the table thank you very much to both of them for this experience.

When I arrived at the hotel I was met at my taxi from the hotel porter, Abdeljalil. He kindly took my baggage and walked with me to reception where Youssef politely and professionally greeted me at reception quickly checked me in and welcomed me to the hotel. I made my way to the room where I have found a clean, well ventilated and modern room with plenty of space for a family, though also an awesome covetable desk that I love the design of. There is a beautiful view from the window over the entire city and many staff members on hand, happily able to provide any assistance needed. While only I have interacted with these two particular staff members, I have seen other guests interact with staff in the bar, restaurant and guest services, where staff appear to take pride and happiness in serving guests to an exceptionally high standard. I also ran in to some other guests who frequently stay at this hotel due to the great experiences in the past. While it is only a four star hotel, compared to the five stars in the city, the hotel is in a beautiful location and having stayed at other five star properties, this hotel actually provides a better level of service over many of the more expensive hotels nearby. The room is great to sleep in and work from, with staff members able to assist guests in obtaining services outside of the hotel with established and trusted partners such as local spas or driving services. For the price paid, I would happily stay here again and recommend it to any other guests. A beautiful hotel, very well managed and perfect for the majority of guest visits.

I stayed at the Melliber Hotel for 5 nights in June 2023. I was a female travelling alone for an architectural research trip. I felt nervous because people said I must be mad travelling alone in Casablanca. For this reason, I had purchased door locks for my hotel door etc. I never used the lock once because the hotel felt safe and welcoming. It was clean. The breakfast was yummy - it varied slightly each day, serving a mix of cold salad of olives, salads, lovely fresh bread and you can purchase omelettes as a extra. The breakfast time was between 6.30-10.30am. I advise getting there around 9am. The hotel is in close vicinity to the mosque and therefore does not serve alcohol. I packed a few mini bottles of wine in my suitcase, to enjoy on my balcony. Although I did feel guilty drinking wine so close to the mosque. The double glazing is effective and the prayer calling doesn’t wake you up, although personally, the sound of the calling is comforting. You should note that the cafes and restaurants near the hotel, don’t serve alcohol. Once you travel past 1k, it seems to be served. I recommend walking down to the Central Market for a delicious fish lunch if you enjoy a glass of wine with your food. Being a city, the traffic is noisy and the drivers enjoy beeping their horns, so you will find that an evening on the balcony is not peaceful. However, it is much quieter than the Movenpick - which I visited one day. I sat on the 16th floor for a drink and a rest, and the sound of the noisy horns seems to travel upwards - it was deafening! On the last day, I had a problem charging my battery pack and the lovely Melliber staff went to the trouble of purchasing a power adaptor to make it work. It still didn’t work in the end, but I could tell that the staff really cared and wanted to fix the problem. You should know that UK phone power banks don’t tend to charge on Moroccan power). I had a problem with the return airport driver, booked through Expedia. The Melliber team made the necessary calls for me to ensure I had a return driver. I definitely don’t recommend Sahara Tours drivers - see my separate review for this. Finally, the hotel kindly upgraded me to suite with a balcony with the view of the mosque, which I requested by email. If there is any room for improvement, it would be that the Melliber website does’t work for me in the UK - I was directed to a page with a security warning and therefore I had to book through Expedia. It would be great if the hotel could provide a WhatApp number for taking bookings because my emails kept going into their spam before arriving which was stressful. Plus I purchased a data only ESIM for Morocco, and WhatsApp works well on this. All in all, I score this hotel a 5 for the reasons above. Thank you. I will book for 7 nights next year, assuming they can contact me on WhatsApp.

New hotel. About 15 miles from the airport. Have stayed there twice for our trip (coming and leaving Morocco) Rest of family staying day before their flight out of Casa, (that's how much we liked this place). Staff will bend over backwards for you. Rooms are good size. 2nd stay was in suite b/c it was only room left. Pull out bed was okay but wished mattress was bit thicker. Otherwise, beds are quite comfortable. Recommend having breakfast-outstanding with traditional Morocco foods along with omelettes made to order.. Nice good size pool and gym. Outside of hotel, there isn't much to walk to. Much construction going on, so this will likely change. There is parking under hotel. Very narrow entrance to get into garage and out. If you have small car -no problem, but be careful -it's narrow. Would stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Casablanca Citadel for a four-night business trip. While there were some positives, unfortunately, the negatives outweighed them, leading to a less-than-satisfactory experience. The Good: - Smooth Check-In:The check-in process was quick and efficient, allowing me to settle into my room without any hassle. - Comfortable Room:My room was comfortable and met my expectations for a business trip. - Excellent Breakfast & Friendly Staff:The breakfast was truly a highlight – excellent variety and quality. The staff at the ground floor restaurant, both during breakfast and dinner, were incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel welcome every day. The Bad: 1. Rooftop Bar Noise: If you're staying on the 8th floor or higher, prepare for noise from the rooftop bar until midnight. It’s disruptive enough to ”bounce you out of bed.” I would recommend avoiding these floors unless you plan to enjoy the bar yourself. 2. Construction Noise: If you're trying to relax or work from your room during the day, expect disturbance from the large construction project next door. This was a constant source of distraction during my stay. 3. Unreliable Laundry Service: The laundry service was a major disappointment. Despite dropping off my laundry early Tuesday morning (before 9am as requested), it wasn’t delivered by the promised 7pm. After following up multiple times, I was told it would arrive between 9-10pm. By the time I returned to the hotel at 10pm, they casually informed me that it wouldn’t arrive until the next morning, which disrupted an important pre-breakfast meeting. The lack of care or apology from the staff was particularly frustrating. Given the wide range of hotel options in Casablanca, I will not be returning to the Radisson Casablanca Citadel. For business travelers, the issues with noise and service make this hotel difficult to recommend.

We stayed at the Idou Anfa as a part of our Morocco tour, and in general, it was a great hotel. In fact, I think this was the second best hotel that we stayed at. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff working there were friendly and helpful. They had nice amenities. The pool was a great place to relax after a long day there. The food that they served at the restaurant was generally tasty and of good quality. The only things to dock the experience are that when we initially arrived, there was no air conditioning—and it was hot! Also, for some reason, 4 star hotels in Morocco don't give out hair conditioner, which is something I would have wanted to know earlier. They also had an in-room safe, but the safe was not attached to the cabinets, so anyone could have walked away with our valuables. Having said those things, if I were to return to Casablanca, I'd definitely stay there again.

Hotel facilities are old and the air conditioning is very loud. The hotel is located close to the city center and is convenient for travel. The service staff is more enthusiastic, but the efficiency is not high. Because there are two hotels on the same street with close names, we also had an oolong, and the taxi was sent directly to the other door. Forced to drag luggage for two or three hundred meters. Remind friends to be careful.

I lived 2 days, enjoy so much of the breakfast, also the waiters very good service. The most great is swimming pool. But the whether not so good, no one swim. Also, the hotel has gift in each room. Nice

I arrived with 2 other travelers who are apart of Intrepid travel. We arrived by Intrepid shuttle upon arrival at Casablanca airport at 10am. Bags brought up to our rooms - that we were able to access with 15min of our arrival despite official check in scheduled no earlier than 12.30pm. This was perfect as I wanted rest & a shower before joining rest of group at 6pm. Room was clean, bed comfortable and air conditioning worked well (a little noisy but that didn’t affect my stay or sleep!) The hotel itself is like an art gallery with work and craft from local artisans. Breakfast had many options, depending on preference and taste- hot food or continental style was on offer- self serve. The coffee machine with different coffee options worked well. I had a cafe latte and must say it was perfect (I’m quite picky with espresso coffee!) There was also a hot chocolate option too! Lovely albeit brief stay, would recommend. Also, the tiny shop stall across from Odyssee sells various chargers - which was so clutch as I forgot to bring my power adapter!

The hotel is close to the airport, the room is clean, it is not water, it is very expensive to sell. Everything else is quite good, breakfast is just like this, this is really the same, bread and stone, it is good to go to the airport, and did not eat.

the hotel is perfectly located whether your here for business or pleasure. It has a parking garage and plenty of local parking available. I have to start with the Hotel room condition, its not the best and could do with some attention, but it is clean and safe. the staff are the selling point of this hotel, ALL the staff are so friendly and help with anything you need, they go the extra mile no matter what you ask, local restaurant recommendations, no problem, local attractions, no problem. Breakfast is great, very authentic and fresh every morning, a great start to the day. the restaurant in the evenings is pleasant and the menu fits all. I again have to mention the staff, really friendly, the lady running the breakfast room is always happy smiling no matter how busy the room is, I was lucky enough to bump into the client hospitality manager (Nadira) who was genuinely interested how my stay was and if i had any suggestions or requests for my stay (i live in hotels professionally 75% of the year) i did mention a couple of things and sure enough the next day i saw the changes, now that's real customer service. the only down point for me are the rooms, very tired and in need of restoration, they are perfectly cleaned and the room cleaning staff do pay attention to detail, but the décor is dated, stained and worn out. the beds are great, extremely comfy and the linen is always crisp and fresh. everything is close the the hotel, a lovely park surrounded by bustling cafes, a beach, restaurants and the local markets. a nice restaurant menu, freshly prepared and authentic. the breakfast is a great selection, the bar sells both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks although the prices for alcoholic drinks are at a premium.

super super clean hotel, designer and super clean bathroom, fresh and clean bed linen. cleaning done daily. ideal hotel. smart tv in the living room and bedroom with Netflix :) I will keep the address for my next stays in Mohammedia the staff is very pleasant. two swimming pools, one with two small slides for children. my 7 year old son was very happy and disappointed to leave. one of my best hotels in Morocco

Probably the best hotel in the area, but... The interior is not very well maintained, lots of small cracks, scratches, minor broken things that you don't expect in a 4 star hotel. It's a pity that probably customers have little respect for the place and the staff cannot manage so many issues. The staff is slow, everything takes o lot of time. The beach is public, not very clean probably because is very popular with the locals day and night in the summer. It's also difficult to get to the hotel in the evening, crowds of people, streets closed for cars until 3 in the morning. Best thing about the hotel : the pool and the sea views. The pool is excellent, big, deep, extremely clean all day long. The SPA is well managed and rhe services are very good( pricey but worth it)

Very good hotel Novotel standard , but the staff there is so good and friendly from the bar to the restaurant and to the reception , special thanks to Asmaa for her professionalism and kindness and thanks to all to make my business trip look like if I am at home
