4-Star Hotels in Jeju Province, South Korea

Was a bad experience, room's bed sheets from previous customer was not even changed. I checked in late and by the time I realized was late night. This was coupled with a bad Aircon setup. Aircon was auto set to turn off once room reached 25 degree C, this meant no air circulation in enclosed room . It was stuffy through the night and the aircon made a loud noise each time. Feed back to staff next day morning and found on second night, nothing changed. After two calls and going to front desk, then they finally change the setting so that the Aircon is not on thrift mode. Not that they only change bedsheets on request and you need to tell them before 2 pm. Maybe that is why I am sleeping with bedsheets that still smell of body odour from previous guests. Btw, read other reviews that the laundry room lights off at 10 pm which is using the time people do laundry is indeed a pain, have to use your mobile phone as torch light. Not a hotel that is welcoming to guests but one maximize their own profits at guests expense

1. Location was amazing, there are bus stops literally in both sides in front of this hotel and you can go explore any places in jeju from here. We explored east and west both by bus from here. Nicely recommended. 2. Our room was on 9th floor, city view. But we go excellent view of mount hallasan too. Extremely beautiful 3. There was food market nearby and many restaurants in walking distance. 4. There is a 7/11 in front of this hotel 5. Staffs were good 6. Everyday we received new fresh towel and water.

Stayed in a family room which seemed new with 4 single beds. It's huge and able to open two luggages with ample of walking space. We did not request housekeeping at all during our stay. But they were kind enough to provide clean hand towels and bottles of water every day placed outside of our door since we indicated DO NOT DISTURB. Nice comfy bed, perfect aircon temp during summer. Nice heated shower and they even have heated floors. CU and a bakerywas at lobby and Olive Young was opposite the hotel. Halal food at Asalam was good and 5 mins walking distance. Famous brand Shopping area and dongmun market was like 8 to 10mins away. MacDonald and 24/7 emart supermarket was 5mins away. Had to catch an early flight out at 5am. Best to book a maxi cab the day before at K Ride app. Cost about Sgd17.

Great location! Short walk to Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market and there are good restaurants nearby. Location is good for sightseeing towards the east and bottom south area. Parking is free at the adjacent Shin Shin ocean hotel. We booked twin room and family room with ocean view. Room is relatively clean and views of the ocean is lovely. The pillow as many have commented is very thin and the beds are rather hard and not very comfortable. The toilet is clean, but when you bath the water will leak out of the bath and wet the entire bathroom, so we had to use a towel to block the water from leaking out. Perhaps hotel might wanna do something about that.

This place is quite easy to find after you hop off the bus. There are two hotels in one building, so you’ll see the 2 hotel names right beside each other at the check in counter. The staff are friendly and check in went smoothly. They spoke some English and used the translator app to communicate with us (all was good). Our room had a great view which we discovered later when it wasn’t foggy or raining. Our room had the basic amenities but it was very spacious. On the first day, we had 4 hand towels, so we assumed that the two were to use for the shower (similar to another hotel we came from and thought it might be a thing in Jeju). However, the next day we came back from a trip and we had bath towels (maybe next time we’ll just ask them). Well, this hotel has a great location to many food places, coffee shops, seafood market, bank, and most importantly the well known waterfalls. These places are all within walking distances. We noticed that many shops and restaurants open late like 11am onwards, but that’s ok because you have many convenience shops everywhere. We checked out early and asked if we can leave our luggage at reception, the receptionist said yes but only until 1:00pm. However, we came back from the waterfall and saw other luggages were there, so we left it there and went on the submarine tour. We came back at 4:00pm and our luggages were still there and safe. Good place to stay for a short trip.

Location very good as bus stop just 2-5 mins away from hotel. It’s convenient to go around . Housekeeping omitted to provide me any water or coffee/tea on my last day . I stayed 3 nights here. Location is nearer market than the harbour

The location of the hotel is great, right in the city. There are many convenience stores nearby so you won’t be hungry at night! The attitude of the counter staff is also very good and they can communicate in simple Chinese ~ There is a bathtub in the room, but I didn't have time to soak in it. The bed is super good for sleeping, the pillows are of moderate hardness, and the shampoo is also very easy to wash. Highly recommended! It only takes 6 minutes to drive from the airport. It can be recommended to travelers who drive around the island. It is suitable for arranging accommodation on the first or last day.

Good location and very convenient. Hotel is located in the same building as the LOTTE shopping mall. Lobby staff were very friendly and polite and helped us to press the elevator every time. Very good service. Room was clean and the facilities and amenities were good. Bed was comfortable and TV was working. Nice kettle and teas. Shampoo, shower gel, and lotion were very good and had a good smell. Toilet comes with a bidet and works well. Bedroom slippers, bathing towels, hand towels, bathrobes were provided. Room service was good and tidy. Highly recommend this hotel!

This was my fourth or fifth stay at Astar in the past four years. The room is always clean with enough space to open a suitcase easily. Comfortable beds with good pillows. Clean bathroom with excellent bidet. Noise is kept out. The lighting is very good. Nice food downstairs. Courteous front desk staff. I will be staying here again when I visit Jeju in the future.

I believe u’ve already known u should book this hotel for its location， but I would like to emphasize their real assets-good service and care for guests. 1.They speak perfect Chinese 2.My friend left her shirt behind in the room before we checked out，and the hotel found it and directly collected it properly with the luggage we stored at the Front Office. 3.My friend accidentally left behind her phone（again，lol） at the front desk when she packed the shirt before our taxi arrived，yet they， again，managed to call me right before we got to the airport and saved our day！ Choose them for a perfect trip in Jeju！
