The location is great, and the price is exceptionally high, except the pillows aren't very comfortable. 💠There aren't many places to visit in Matsue, so I recommend staying near the station. Even if you don't know how to use public transportation, you can take a bus from the station and back. It's really difficult to hail a taxi on the street. Uber exists, but you can never get one. In the sweltering 35-degree Celsius midday heat, it's unbearably hot! 😭 💠Staying in Matsue allows you to visit Izumo Taisha Shrine, the Adachi Museum of Art in Shimane, and even Yonago and Tottori."

"Old and famous ryokan in town, with old and very nice Japanese garden with its own history. This hotel provide a very large outdoor public hot bath pond which both men and women could use together. Nearby the hotel is a drainage canal with cherry blossom trees along both sides made a wonderful view."

"very nice! There is a Family Mart nearby and it is a short walk to Izumo Taisha Shrine and the Izumo Historical Museum! The receptionist was very nice. Dinner and breakfast were all buffets. They were delicious. The hot springs were very comfortable. However, there were too many people and I didn’t have the chance to soak in a private hot spring. There were also free ramen and kimono rentals. It was a good choice to go to Izumo Taisha Shrine~ It’s close to the Izumo tram station. "I was driving myself, so I'm not sure about other public transportation options. The service at check-in was excellent. Being from Hong Kong, I specifically requested a ********* staff member to serve me during meals. They were incredibly attentive, explaining each dish meticulously. On another day at breakfast, this same ********* staff member also arranged for friends and family staying in different rooms to sit together. As for the hot springs, there were different areas and types to choose from. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely come again."
