Travelers Reviews of Saga Prefecture Hotels

Ryokan Oomuraya

A hot spring hotel friendly to solo travelers. The lady at the front desk wrote handwritten travel guide recommendations. You can make a reservation for the hot spring house once a day. It's really a beauty soup. My skin feels slippery after running. The town is not big, but it is very relaxing if you don’t do anything. Will go again if I have the chance. There is a lot of vinyl in the lounge on the first floor, and the owner seems to have good music taste. It’s nice to listen to music and drink some good wine at night.

Although the hotel is close to Niji no Matsubara and the beach But because there are other hotels ahead Therefore, the view from sea view rooms will be blocked. The hotel location is not very convenient Extra attention needs to be paid to transportation arrangements However, you can ask the hotel to arrange transportation. Hotel facilities are very sufficient There is a lounge providing snacks and wine The bathhouse has a hot pool and a frozen pool The room is very spacious The bed sheets and quilts indoors don’t look very tidy.

After booking the hotel, I was hesitant and worried that it would be bad. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel! Everything is better than expected ^_^Small but beautiful! The front desk staff are friendly and attentive. There was a young man from China at the front desk who gave a detailed introduction to the hotel facilities, dinner reservation times and some sightseeing suggestions in Chinese. On Chinese New Year's Eve, I met a Japanese lady at the hotel front desk (who spoke very fluent English) who gave guests free drinks to celebrate the New Year, which made people feel cordial and warm. There are few people in the hotel's hot springs and they are very clean. Basically every time I go, the restaurant is reserved;) Dinner is a major feature of the hotel and worth experiencing. Although the ingredients don't look amazing, they are actually carefully prepared and high-quality ingredients. The cooking method is not very flashy, which is probably the characteristic of Ureshino. I ate every meal until I couldn't finish it. The Saga beef melts in your mouth, the tiny pufferfish is extremely delicious, the crabs are sweet and plump...^_^The soup tofu for breakfast is soft, glutinous and smooth in the mouth, without any beany smell, and the rich bean aroma is unforgettable. The appearance picture of the hotel on Ctrip’s official website is different from the actual one! This is actually the first photo I took of this! Much better than what is shown on the official website! Best hotel for traveling with parents!

The facilities are fantastic here, it is cleaner than any other place I've been to and the views are unbeatable. Most importantly, the night staff working the front desk made it such a wonderful experience. I am looking forward to coming back in the future, will definitely book again and fell in love with the experience here

What a beautiful hotel! Both the software and hardware are first-class, and the transportation is also very convenient. There is a direct bus from Saga City. I really like this hotel and it is worth going there next time.

One of the few tall buildings in the town, equipped with rooftop indoor and outdoor onsen. Walkable distance to places around town. The hotel is renovating, but no disturbances from that, and I’m certain that after it finished, it will be great. Good facilities and hospitality. If I’m go back to the town, I would stay here again.

I had been meaning to go there someday because of its reputation. This time I got the chance and went. Due to budget issues, I booked the most basic room. The overall exterior facilities and scenery were good, but... I guess it was because of the rainy season, fog, and humid weather that lasted for several days... The room we were assigned had a dingy smell coming from the basement. I booked a night's stay... The geographical location of the ryokan (in the lush mountains), the uniqueness of our room (the structure is very difficult to ventilate), the weather... Considering this, I just stayed with it. I turned on the dehumidifier hard... but maybe because I had high expectations, I kept feeling disappointed. Maybe it's just my nose being sensitive... Except for the room condition, the hot springs, meals, and the friendliness of the staff were very good. Despite its reputation as the best ryokan in Ureshino, the room management was somewhat disappointing. Wouldn't that be the case for rooms on higher levels?

I almost missed this shop. It's in the form of a coffee and cake shop at the entrance. After entering, you can check in by yourself on the first floor. You can store your luggage. There is no shower in the room. Go to the bathhouse on the first floor. Bath towels and toiletries are self-service on the second floor. You can eat popsicles after bathing. When I was in the elevator, I met a cute little boy who wanted to eat popsicles for me. My heart melted ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. I ate in the coffee shop in the morning. The food is a bit simple, but it's filling. Ureshino Tofu is well-deserved.

This is my first time in this hotel Although the front desk staff are all Japanese But they are willing to use translation software to carefully explain the hotel facilities to you The location is very convenient and close to Saga Station, only 10 minutes by car. There are many parking spaces outside his hotel. Parking is very convenient. The hotel's in-house restaurant has a delicious breakfast and teppanyaki in the evening There is also a fireworks area in the hotel lobby where guests can purchase and set off fireworks outside the hotel. It is very atmospheric when it is snowing🤭🤭 In addition, the day of check-out was my girlfriend’s birthday. The front desk staff gave her chocolate as a birthday blessing. It was a surprise and I was very happy. I will definitely come back next time🤭
