Setre Naramachi

Service: The front desk was very polite. The rice balls breakfast was good. The milk was sweet and not fishy at all. It was delicious. There was also a self-service tea from 3pm to 7pm. Environment: The hotel is located near Nara Park, very close to Kofuku-ji Temple, and about 15 minutes to the subway station. Facilities: Small but complete. The most basic room type booked, the floor-to-ceiling panoramic window P4 is worth it, but the only drawback is that the table is very small. You need to prepare your own toothbrush and toothpaste.

Location:2 minutes walking distance from the station to the hotel-perfect!The front entrance has a beautifully designed layout. Cleanness: The hotel maintains an exceptional level of cleanliness, and a comfortable and hygienic environment. Service: The front desk's English is excellent, much better than most I've encountered in Tokyo and Osaka. The instructions are clear and well-explained. Facilities: Everything from the room to the dining options was exceptional, making my stay very enjoyable. The Japanese-style room made my stay cozy and relaxing. Overall: I would give 10 out 10 and recommend it to every one.

Room was small probably because of the extra sofa bed but it was very convenient and clean. Great location. Close to Nara park and the station. The restaurant is also very nice.
Iroha Grand Hotel Kintetsu Nara Ekimae

The hotel is very close to Kintetsu Nara Station. It is less than 100 meters walk from Gate 4 to the commercial street. It is also very close to Kofuku-ji Temple. It is about 100 meters away from the east commercial street through the alley. The hotel is very new and clean, but a little small. You can only open the big suitcase in the space where the door is opened after closing the door. There is a small space for hanging clothes and luggage next to the door, and then there is a small toilet and a small double bed. But it is barely acceptable for just one night. The hotel staff is also very enthusiastic and can speak English. I arrived at the hotel at 13:00 noon and said that there would be rooms available at 14:00, so I left my luggage and went out to eat something before going back to check in. Nara deer can only be seen in the direction of Kofuku-ji Temple. There are no deer near the hotel.

Fantastic Hotel with a perfectly convenient location. The only thing is the bad attitude of a female manager at the front desk. We asked for more bottled water, but she refused. Refusing is OK, but she thought we didn't understand Japanese and said some bad words to us. Unfortunately, we are just not fluent in Japanese, but we can totally understand what she was saying. A pathetic woman manager ruined other staff's good service and hard work.
Ryokan Asukasou at the Entrancne of Nara Park

Asukasou is an old hotel in Nara, famous for its cuisine, service, and the view of the five-story pagoda of Kofuku-ji Temple. Now the five-story pagoda is wrapped tightly, and you can't recognize it when you walk in front of it. It will take several years at the speed of Japan. There is no shuttle bus for service, and you can park at the door of the store. The staff are warm and attentive. The cuisine is kept up to standard, fresh and delicious, full of sincerity, and the seasoning is also very delicious, but the dishes are not served one after another. The room I booked is the most ordinary and smallest single room in the hotel, about 12 square meters, the bed is against the wall, the space is used to the extreme, and the bathroom has a bathtub. It is very new and clean, so it is not uncomfortable to live in such a small room. The rooms in the whole hotel have been renovated. The Japanese-style rooms are very beautiful, but the view of the pagoda is completely gone now. The public space hotel lobby is old, the carpet in the room corridor is very old and dirty, and the air conditioner in the hotel room is slightly loud. These are not problems. The biggest problem of this hotel is that the lobby bathroom has a very serious odor, which causes the restaurant on the first floor and the corridor on the second floor to be very smelly, with a smell of sewer. Fortunately, the door is sealed and the room has no smell. The location is very good. You need to take a taxi to JR Station and Kintetsu Station, but you can walk to the attractions. The hotel shop has good things and is not expensive. I bought tea and deer. Overall, I recommend staying here, but the problem of odor needs to be solved urgently.

Ando Hotel Nara Wakakusayama -Dlight Life & Hotels-

Needless to say, it was clean. The bed was big enough to accommodate two adults and one child. The dinner was impressive. I experienced an unprecedented Japanese kaiseki cuisine. From the selection of ingredients to the presentation of the dishes, the chef's love for Japanese cuisine and his recognition of local ingredients were revealed. He was really rigorous and serious about it. Although my aesthetic taste for top Japanese food has not reached a high level of taste appreciation, I have to admit that the craftsmanship spirit was brought to the extreme by the hotel chef. The standard of breakfast was also very high, including the hotel, service, and private soup at night. If it hadn't rained and I couldn't see the starry sky, this trip to Ando would have been perfect. I hope I can see the brilliant Milky Way next time I go there.
