First of all, thank you to the front desk staff who check us in when we encounter error on the self check in and gave us a free upgrade… ours was the compact room or something and was at a lower level, she upgraded us to a higher floor on level 7 with a view of the train station. Thank you for making our trip in Kyoto a memorable one. The room was big with a long sofa which we can sit and have our meals, enjoy the view and even put our large luggage. Will book again next trip to Kyoto. Sorry didn’t managed to ask for your name. Throughly enjoy my stay with this hotel and it’s pretty near to aeon mall and konbini stores. Thanks again!

We really loved this hotel; it's the best we've stayed at in Japan. It excels in convenience, service, and cleanliness—surpassing even the 5-star hotel at Arima Onsen. There are many excellent restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Kyoto.

Kyoto Bohou College·Vacation Room B&B, hidden in the city center, but has a quiet world. Walk to Tsang Temple and feel the wind bones at the end of the curtain; it is only1.8 kilometers away from Nijo City, and it is just a good morning walk. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and the atmosphere of life is strong, but it is not lost in the simplicity and calmness of the traditional neighborhoods of Kyoto people.
The homestay itself is elegant and clean, and the details are ingenious. The house is quiet and peaceful, and you can listen to the wind and dream by pushing the window. The landlord is gentle and thoughtful, making people feel at home, as if returning to a familiar hometown.
If you want to find a place in Kyoto that really slows down your body and mind, the virtual room is ideal.

Although the accessibility to subway stations and other places was not good, the location of the accommodation was in a residential area, so it had a good local atmosphere. The facilities were good, the service was friendly, and everything was good.

The hotel is great, location was very convenient - walking distance to Kyoto Stn and multiple bus stops that are along the routes of city buses to get to popular destinations. The room was spacious and there was separate dry and wet toilets.
The only disappointment I had was that I booked a room with the (Kyoto) tower view but was given a room on a low floor… so I could barely see the tower at all 🥲
Other than that though, the hotel was nice and I would stay here again.

The hotel is very conveniently located and close to train station. In a few minutes walk, it will bring you to the river bank for morning jog. Facilities are kept clean and fresh. The communal springs are remarkable. The in-room TV shows you how busy the facilities are being used. The roof reception is cosy, simple and yet spectacular. Took a break from the city shopping tour and return to Hotel to enjoy a moment on the roof. Other provisions are generous, such as the snack bar on the reception floor. Overall speaking, this is a must return hotel for downtown Kyoto.

Location: located very near to a few tourist spots and near metro and of course, a 24/7 supermarket when you can get most of your groceries and fresh bento.
Service: Staff are friendly and polite. They immediately take action after we told them that the bedsheet got unpleasant smell.
Amenities: The hotel has most of the amenities. The only drawback is that there is only one microwave and it’s located in the lobby. So I need to travel all the way down to reheat my pancakes/bentos.
Price: Not too bad as I booked the room half a year ago.
Summary: Will definitely stay here again if I am coming back to Kyoto. ☺️

This hotel has wonderful costumer services and the employees speak many languages. Right up the street there is a 7/11 store for all your snack run, there are cafe and restaurant within walking distance. The Karasuma-Oike station is literally 3-5 minutes walk. The best part is the traveler’s store that is about a 10 min walk. I been wanting to go there and finally got to visit it. This store has stationary items such as notebooks that can have you record your journey.

AAiliIt is a lovely place to stay with a fancy roof top bar. The location is okay, not far away from Kiyomizu dera temple, but still several bus stops from Kyoto Station. The hotel does provide shuttle bus to Kyoto Station but only allows carry-on luggages. The breakfast from the a la carte menu is mainly omelette, so you will probably get bored of it after trying for two consecutive days. The drip coffee provided by the hotel is amazing. Overall, a good experience to stay at this hotel. The bonus goes to the skincare products they provided for free.

AAnonymous UserLocation wise just one stop from kyoto train station. Free flow drinks, private bath and public bath available. Midnight noodles & ice cream available from 9-11pm. Japanese course dinner served special menu from their chef. Buffet breakfast choices were a lot. Can store luggage before check in or after check out. Provide luggage transfer with some fees within kyoto area. Definitely worth to pay a visit to experience kyoto culture. 👍🏻

GGuest UserLoved our stay here - the hotel was very clean, the design was very homey and room was spacious! The only thing was the receptionist could not assist us in calling restaurants (we only asked for one call to be made to check if we could move our existing dinner booking up because we arrived at Kyoto early). The staff mentioned there are some policies under which the receptionists cannot make calls for customers.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located between Kyoto and Toji station, approx. 5-min walk from Toji station, 15-min walk from Kyoto station.
The room is spacious and there isn't no issue to open two 24” luggages.
One big plus point of the hotel is the public bath separately for males and females. Hot bath, cold bath and sauna are available.
One small downside is no bottled water provided.
Very pleasant experience in overall. I will return to this hotel during my next visit.

11509The hotel is relatively new, self-service kiosk for check-in & out, free coffee machine at the reception area. Location is near Omiya station with the Hankyu line, we only use it once when arriving from Kyoto. Quite a distance away from other stations with better connectivity and far from Karawamachi areas where the Nishiki market, shopping streets and Gion are more accessible. Too far to walk but can take a bus there. Our disappointment came when our strawberries & food left in the fridge turned bad as it was not cold. The man with curry hair at the front desk looks frustrated when the guests told him about the coffee machine not working & need refill the milk supplies.
WWEE PINGThe experience at this hotel is amazing. Excellent customer service. The room is spacious and clean. Location is strategic, just 1 station away from Kyoto station. This is really good for us as we travel direct from Kansai Airport.
Overall, very good experience and certainly will pick this hotel for my next visit.
