Meadowlands Hotel

We recently stayed at The meadows hotel in Tralee for one night , The reception staff where very nice and welcoming our arrival, The double room was large and had a bath with overhead shower and plenty of room for guests toiletries beside the sink which was large , The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was well soundproofed so we had a great nights sleep, There are plenty of spacious seating areas for a quiet drink or a lovely bar with background music and a large screen for watching live sports etc but the sound is not to loud as not to be able to have a conversation with anyone, Bar staff also helpful, Breakfast was excellent with your tea/coffee and warm food order taken by the waiting staff who I must compliment for there friendliness and professionalism at all times as nothing was to much bother, You can also help yourself from the continental assortment which again was excellent consisting of fresh fruit, Breads , cereal, jams , Ect , I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a short or long stay if touring this part of the world, Also there is plenty of parking at the hotel so had no problems getting parked in a safe place, Thanks to all the staff who made us welcome we really appreciate it, We will definitely return soon 😁

OK, there is a parking lot nearby. Breakfast is usually limited to one person per person, and one more for one euro.
Killarney Dromhall Hotel
4.4/566 Reviews
This hotel is a good location for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting the Dingle Peninsula. It's also about a 15-minute walk to downtown, and there is a local brewery a few blocks away with really good beer. If you drive, the parking lot is pretty small, with limited spaces. Staff was friendly and the room was clean, though if visiting in the summer, the air-conditioning is limited. As with most European hotels, no coffee in the lobby in the morning, but there is a convenient store across the street with really good coffee. If we were to visit Killarney again, we would definitely consider staying at the Dromhall.
The Brehon Hotel & Spa

Myself and my family stayed here for one night so we didn't see all the facilities but we had a wonderful stay. We ordered an inter-connecting family room and it was huge! We had two very spacious, spotless bathrooms and very large bedrooms connected by an internal door. The beds were comfortable and the air-conditioning was very effective during the heat-wave. The breakfast was nice and the staff were all very pleasant. It was easy to park in the car park provided. I'd highly recommend a stay here.
Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa

What a wonderful 3 nights stay at this excellent hotel. From the moment we checked in, we were welcomed with open arms by the front desk staff. Giving us a very personal run through the different parts of the hotel, and guiding us to our gorgeous room. Staying in room 3, the Junior suite, which had a large comfortable bed, inviting lounge area with Sofa, and a beautiful bathroom to enjoy. A very fine, hearty Breakfast is served each morning in Restaurant 58, overlooking the gardens, and Kerry mountains in the background. Ideal to plan the day ahead, or simply take in the view. The general public areas are not very large, but plenty of relaxing areas dotted around for you to snuggle up with a paper or book. Walk around, read the life long stories and memories adorning the hotel walls. So much history and warmth. You will soon find yourself winding your way towards Owen Macs Bar & the Brasserie, and this is where the real heart of this hotel lies. This is where the brilliant team are. Donal, a gent and great craic. Full of warmth, stories, interested in making sure you have the best stay and service. Martin, with his excellent bar skills, and no forgetting either Sara or Kay, serving, some if not the better food you will find in Tralee - fact! The Spa is great to relax in for a an afternoon. The outdoor Jacuzzis on cold fresh day are heavenly. So pick a quite time, and just relax. The grounds are so well kept, with a stunning new purpose built ceremonial venue for any weddings taking place. Congratulations to Padraig, and his amazing team. You should be very proud of them all. We will look forward to returning some time soon.
Killarney Oaks Hotel

Good and not so good. The location is nice outside of town. Plenty of free parking. Check in smooth with a friendly desk clerk. We were tired and had a bite to eat in the restaurant. Very nice. The food was good. Room was nice. Big tub and shower. We both took long baths after hiking 7 miles during the day. Wifi was fast and stayed constantly connected. They gave us a fan to move the air around. That was nice. The fan had a timer on it and would only stay on 2 hours at a time. Weird. The room had a single bed and a full bed. When we got in to bed we sunk into the middle. It was like sleeping in a hammock. My wife ditched me and went to the single bed. You could hear any noise from the other rooms and from the hallway. Bottom line not a good night's sleep. The breakfast in the morning was good. Killarney was booked the weekend we were there and we were only able to get 1 night at the Killarney oaks hotel. Turned out to be a blessing.

Excellent for visiting Killarney and surrounding area. 20 minute brisk walk into town. On main road which was noisy from the balcony rooms so bear in mind if you want more peace go around the back. A relaxed and friendly hotel.
