I've stayed for 2 nights on my staycation in Semarang. Room is clean, tidy and comfy, but there are some spots on the towel. Also the spray jet valve were leaks, so I got to turn it on/off during using it. I like the breakfast menu, quite variative choice and tastes goods. The sky pool was fresh in the morning, but don't forget to applied sun block on your skin. Overall is good for an affordable price.

The room is very comfortable and clean, starting from the arrival of security and bellboy swiftly providing assistance, the check in and check out process at the front office is also very super fast and the officers are very friendly in providing information. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The staff everywhere always greeted us in a friendly manner, a great experience. Thank you Aston Solo

The minus is the parking lot and entrance access of the Hotel that needs extra effort, because it only goes through the lobby, so you need to walk to the front of the lobby. It would be nice if it had access near the parking lot. The food also needs to improve more.

This my second stay in last 2 months, just havent got chance to wrote some review. We stay for 2 nights on each occasions, i bring my wife, 3 kids below 9 and my mom. We book executive room, which has small livinv room with couch. Good room size, clean, bright, comfy bed and couch (can accomodate for 1 adult to sleep), but Pillow is too hard so i ask for replacement. Bathroom was also clean and has nice ambience, aminity was okay. Check in and check out process was fast and efficient, staff was kind and attentive. Swimming pool size was good, no slides etc but its okay. I tried their room delivery bfast and buffet. Buffet serve various menu but taste wise is average. In room dining serve good portion and menu variety (i choose american breakfast). The only minus point is locations, surrounded by bus and train station in bit strander area so we need car to reach nearest restaurant or supermarket. But it should be not a problem if you brought car. To conclude everythung, we love our stay in this hotel and it become our favorite in Solo. We usually stayed in Alila but now we prefer Swisbel hotel.

Book Aruss Hotel just for 1 night, only for transit so my hubby can rest and have a shorter drive back home (to Jakarta). Surprisingly, we really love our stay, the staffs are amazingly nice & helpful. The check in process was fast & smooth, they offered us welcome drinks on the rooftop on 11th floor, it was really nice. For 4 star hotel the room is nice and clean, have nothing to complain about. They also offered large varieties of breakfast, includes with the kids corner area which serves kids friendly meals. Really enjoy our stay in Aruss Hotel & will definitely come back again.

It would be nice if we could have one because we only have 1 child. I recommend the hotel to relax this policy and would consider giving 5 stars. The staffs are very friendly and the breakfast is recommended for everyone to try.

We understand this hotel was in soft opening progress but many problems were disappointing us. Swimming pool & gym were not ready yet. Stayed 1 night in 3 Superior & Deluxe Rooms on the 10th floor overlooking to main street & next building. Well located at main street in front of DP Mall about 20 minutes from the airport. Parking area was very limited so we have to use vallet service to park our cars outside of the hotel. Corridor was so hot due to airconditioner were off. We got only 1 room keycard due to there was no stock. The main problem is we found a lot of long hair inside the blanket & bed sheet in room number 1003 & used straw on the floor in room number 1011. Seems house keeping did not clean up properly & did not change the blanket sheet after previous guest. Free in room WIFI connection was good. The breakfast has good selection of both Indonesian & Western styles. The hotel staffs were courteouse & friendly.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Oldstyle hotel, but well maintained... Guests amenities were complete and in good condition. But the service from the front office seems too stiff and not flexible. I was just asking if possible to have late checkout at 12.30, but the answer was just ”CAN NOT!!! THE HOTEL IS FULL TODAY”, in an unfriendly voice. While it is Ramadan month, and i know the hotel is currently not busy at all. Well, despite of the frontliner stiffness, the hotel is still very recommended...

Good value for money. I booked 3 rooms. One of the non-smoking room smells like smoke, but the hotel switched it with another room, so problem was resolved pretty quickly. The hotel has sufficient selection of the ala carte food menu, it was freshly made therefor it tooks sometime. Great service 10/10 everyone was very friendly and helpful. Hotel has a small swimming pool, located outdoor with shades, next to the restaurant. Perfecr for family with small kids

There is a swimming pool and a place for the gym, the parking lot is very large, the rooms are also many. There is a replica of the holy tower in front of the hotel. The hotel room is a bit old for the superior but still comfortable.

Insight room was different from the picture given on agoda, booking.com, traveloka even on their official website. Bed linen, pillow, towels got stain and the colour a bit yellowish. On their wall got a few of pencil sketched. And that make the room even look dirtier and dumped. The main thing was the bathroom. In the morning the water were so dirty, they said they were doing some repair to the water valve. And you guest what, they doing it in the morning where all the guests already wake up and need to use the toilet and we found out that the water was DIRTY with all the sands and the colour were brownish, then out of sudden the water heater also down. And the jackpot was, the water STOP running to all the rooms. THIS WAS PERFECT 😏 We already called 3 times and asked, and they only said wait for a while and keep on the water to flush away all the dirts. With out any other solutions. And that happens for almost 3 hours. They perfectly ruined our holiday with this Issue. We ask for extra towel, fyi, they only give 2 towels per room. We have 3 Children, so we asked for extra towel. We never got any problem on this even on budget hotel or at 4 or 5 Stars hotels before, You know what? After they give extra 2 towels, they asked for the existing 2 towels thats already in the room to be returned to them. We have explained to the house keeping that we have 3 kids, and of course 2 towels will not be enough (fyi, the towel is a bit thin, dont expect a furry thick towel like at other 4 or 5 starts hotel) What a silly service. Dont mention about the extra room key, they only gave us 1 room key, so we asked for 1 extra. You know what they said? We have not enough room key, so no more extra. It was a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT staying 1 night on 31st dec to 1st of Jan 2023 at LK Pandanaran Semarang. They charged almost 3times from their normal rate and this is what we got. We dont mind if you marked up your price almost 3times, specially during peak season, BUT PLEASE before doing that, improve your service, add more capable and professional labour to balance up with your price. Not mention about LK Simpang Lima Semarang. At their lobby, there was a water leakage, not sure why they havent done any repairing. Thats make us think that they all the SAME, at all LK Hotel Chains at semarang. But we would like to compliments the security outside the lobby area, he was very helpful, and genuinely helped us and give solutions when there were no more parking lot.

Helpful hotel employees made a suprised Ultha cake decorated more beautifully than the original cake... the room was clean and carpeted... checked in on time without waiting... given a room according to connecting request... overall is good

Nice place, pleasant stay, clean room, excellent service. Short stay on family trip to surabaya for the long weekend. Nice surprise with room upgrade, and a connecting rooms as requested before. Tks a lot for the resepsionist on duty @mas alam.

We live this place. Front desk staff super friendly. You can tell they are meticulous about COVID protocols - front desk had shields and all the staff wearing proper mask. The room are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included and it was very good breakfast not your typical nasi goreng and omelette! Good job chef! If you truly want to enjoy the scenery get to the rooftop / pool, the pool on the site were big and offerings best view of Semarang Downtown. I highly recommend this hotel!

I was a bit disappointing due to reality that this hotel is extremely small for 4 stars hotel. The twin bed was joint to give no meaning of asking twin bed since the room was small. The bathroom has no outside door, so if you stay with your friends, you will have less privacy as the glass door still see through. Food was very limited with average taste, so stay more than 1 night will bore you for breakfast. The TV always broken without steady connection after 4x of repairmen and cable changing. The pool was so small and joint with cafe which make no relax feeling at all. The welcome drink came so long after almost 30 minutes of waiting and asked for the 2nd time, although the drink was quite nice. But I lost my mood to stay in the cafe. The only good things are the staffs were friendly and the mall in front of premises is a bit of entertained me. But I will not come back again.

Best location because it is direct access to Ciputra mall. The room is old and new retouch. Sad part is the towel, very thin, worn, and no longer in proper condition to touch human skin... can be improved...

I went here alone because I wanted to try something new last week. I was not dissapointed, the service was really nice and the room was also very comfortable. The breakfast food was really delightful and the sky lounge bar and pool had the best view.

As a Titanium Elite member, I got an upgrade to a corner room, free late check-out until 16:00 and free breakfast as well as 500 points as a welcome gift (but not received until now). When checking in, I was given an iced ginger drink in a fancy glass. Parking is a bit difficult because it is narrow. Check-in was smooth and fast, informed that there is no refrigerator in the room The lobby is integrated with the bar and restaurant and seating. There are many games in the lobby both on the table and on the wall. There is also a long table for working. Because it was upgraded, the room is quite spacious, there is a carpet under the mattress. The mattress is small 160x200 with 4 pillows. There is a desk and work chair even though it is not very comfortable. The TV is large. Wifi is also smooth. Unfortunately the view is bad. Drinking water is given 2 plastic bottles. Coffee uses javapresso, tea uses tongtji if I'm not mistaken The bathroom is a bit narrow in the shower area, the toilet and washbasin areas are quite wide. Shampoo soap uses a skin brew brand dispenser. The smell of coffee is a bit strange but still fragrant. The shower is already a rain shower. Complete amenities, towels are also provided 2 body towels, 2 hand towels. But because the shower area is narrow when taking a shower, the water will definitely overflow into the washbasin area so the floor is wet and the mat is also wet. The facilities are very good. There is a fairly proper gym and a rooftop swimming pool. The ironing room is given a separate room Breakfast is a la carte with a little buffet. For A-la carte there are choices of western, fried rice or fried noodles. The buffet has salad, cereal, bread, pastries, pancakes, yoghurt, fruit, smoothies, market snacks, egg corner, indomie corner, chicken porridge, juice.

The staff were super friendly. Variety of food for breakfast (and tasted good too, except the coffee latte and cappucino which was too much milk :) ). It worth the price. Highly recommended for families and vacation. Too bad the pool were under maintenance. Btw the cooler at the room was not cold enough to put your ice cream.

The hotel is located in Jebres area, near KA solo Balapan Station, Thiong Ting's funeral house, Star Cafe, Timlo Sastro, Orion Rot Shop, etc., but no one sells food around the hotel. We stayed there because we were ordered a big family to wander to Thiong Ting. Just entered the lobby area, it was already seen that this is an old hotel, because the atmosphere is gloomy and the air conditioner is less cold. There are mosquitoes in the lobby. The receptionist also lacks a smile/friendly. In front of the lobby there is land for parking vehicles. There was a pool behind the base floor of the hotel, but we didn't have time to check it out. We were given a room on the back mezzanine floor (no rooms 210, 211, 212, dst.). Apparently this is a standard room. The room is narrow, no windows, smells of a slight, not enough room for an extra bed. Wifi is not available in this type of room, and can only access in lobby and restaurant. Because the AC was leaking, we were moved to another room on the 2nd floor (no room 220, 221, dst). The maintenance came pretty quick when complained about the air leak. Apparently this replacement room given was a moderate room (catt: we were not upgraded, but we were given another type of room, because the standard type was full, so we had to pay more). The room is bigger, covered, and not covered. Wifi available in this type of room. The air conditioner is cold, even very cold, maybe the remote key is broken, so it cannot be set/smalled, can only be on/off. There was a TV, coffee maker, and a mini fridge in the room, but we didn't have time to use it. We didn't have time to try the bathroom in the room on the mezzanine, but the one on the second floor, the hot water works well, but there was no shower curtain, so when the shower was splashed throughout the bathroom area. The drainage in the sink is also less smooth. Bath amenities are available: shampo, hand sanitizer (2), shower cap, toothbrush. One of our group's rooms did not smoothly the drainage, so the water was swell. Another guest from our group found cockroaches in their room, and in our own room there were lots of ants, so in the morning we found the cake we brought already full of ants. In the room located in front of the hotel, there is a noise of motorbikes, while in the room behind the hotel, there is a noise of a train passing by. There are two elevators, two units in front, near the lobby, and two units back. The lift works well, just confused, because when given no room 210 dst, we thought it was on the 2nd floor, but it turned out it was on the mezzanine floor, so it was a chance to escape, and there was no information from the reception. Just recently stayed for four nights at Solo Paragon Hotel for business trip and enjoyed my stay overall. To be very honest, Solo Paragon was not my first hotel choice when I looked at accommodations in Solo for this business trip. However, there was no other options left when I wanted to reserve as Solo had multiple international events during my time there. Pre-arrival impression was unpleasant as when I texted them requesting for airport pick-up arrangement, they turned down my request immediately stating that they were busy with the international event. Moreover, I requested assistance to send some packages from the hotel but again they turned down my request stating they did not provide that service. I have been working in the hotel industry for a while and fully understand that these two were supposedly the basic service offered to guests, let alone by a property at Solo Paragon Hotel level. At this stage, even before arriving to the hotel itself, I was devastated and had actually looked at other accommodation option. However, as everything was on prepaid basis I decided to just go with it. The tide started to turn when I decided to give the hotel a call one day prior to arriving, as I wanted to understand more about the city (this is my very first visit to Solo). Patty - the lady who picked up the phone, was super helpful answering my questions and really getting me prepped up for my trip. Throughout my stay also, I coincidentally met her almost every day of my stay (usually in the afternoon). She was always being nice, helpful, and friendly. She even assisted me to plan a short tour around the destinations in Solo. Her presence at the Front Desk really brought positive ambience there, in addition to of course all her colleagues in the Front Desk and Lobby area - including the Security team. Solo Paragon Hotel is also located in the heart of Solo, make it super easy to go everywhere. There are Solo Paragon Shopping Mall just downstairs - shops, coffee shops, night markets, and restaurants in walking distance - and also going around by car feels close to everywhere. Definitely recommended for travelers seeking for easy access to various places in Solo. At this stage, the great staff and strategic location really made my business trip convenient and at this point I had forgotten my unpleasant pre-arrival experience. However, still there are some points that requires upgrade for Slo Paragon Hotel to get their perfect 10/10 experience. First, I felt that there were no standards in the Housekeeping service; sometimes they left the bathroom door open somethings they did not, sometimes they folded the bath mat above the toilet sometimes on the floor, sometimes they brought spare laundry bag and form when I requested for laundry service and sometimes they did not. Actually, this place is great. Fancy and spacious room. I really like it. The food they served taste really good tho. Chef’s kiss. But, the one that’s bothering me is they don’t put a sign for a “sold out” food/beverages, other than that, some of the menu is not the same with the menu that they already displayed in their website. We’re already expecting food when we’re hungry, waiting, just for the fact that they can’t served that food because that’s sold out. It’s really bothering me.

The security guard's greeting was ok, the cashier to check in was friendly, there was a small incident in the room using the lift to the 2nd floor, the lift suddenly closed by itself when my wife was about to enter, her hands weren't clamped, usually the lift won't close if there are still people, but it's ok. deluxe room has a king bed, has a work desk, lounge chairs, has a refrigerator, storage for things, a large cupboard, the bathroom has a bathtub, hot water. The receptionist's telephone number is answered quickly, there is a spa, free swimming pool, free gym, free sauna , and the most awaited food in the restaurant is a lot of choice, it's delicious, like a 4 star hotel. If you're in Solo, I think you'll still choose Sunan as a place to rest. Thank you Sunan for accompanying me on my holiday, I hope the service will be maintained and improved again. Always successful.
