"Our staycation at Novotel with the family was absolutely delightful! ✨ From the moment we checked in, the staff were friendly and efficient, making us feel comfortable right away. The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for families; the kids had plenty of space to move around without feeling cramped. The facilities are comprehensive, especially the swimming pool, which was a huge hit with the kids 🏊‍♂️. Plus, there's a gym and a comfortable lounge area for the adults. The breakfast spread was incredibly varied, offering everything from local dishes to Western options, and it all tasted delicious! The location is quite strategic, close to various restaurants and the city center, making it easy to explore. Overall, our stay at Novotel was extremely satisfying for a family vacation. It's ideal for anyone looking for a comfortable hotel with excellent facilities and a child-friendly atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! ❤️"

"There's a shopping mall just a 5-minute walk across the street from the hotel, with restaurants and shops. An Indomaret convenience store is located opposite the mall. Breakfast was average, and the room had a safe."

"This hotel offers Chinese-speaking staff, making it perfect for business travelers or tourists from China. The decor is very new and the service is flexible. It's also conveniently located near many Chinese restaurants in the Pik area, making dining and transportation very easy. They even serve a Chinese breakfast."

"The hotel room facilities are a bit old, and the cleanliness didn't meet expectations. The bedding might have been used for a while as there were yellow stains. The chairs weren't very clean either. It's right next to the exhibition hall. The good thing is you can get there in 3 minutes. The downside is that if there's an event at the hall, it starts getting noisy from 4 AM, and sometimes there's construction at night. Out of 6 nights, I only had 3 good nights' sleep. The motorcycle noise outside is also very loud, which seems to be a city characteristic and not the hotel's fault. Overall, I'm satisfied."

"I stayed in BSD, a bit far from central Jakarta. I had to leave Jakarta for work the next day, so I chose this place for its proximity to the airport and its convenience. Apparently, it was originally planned as a residential high-rise, and there are several other apartment-style hotels on top of the same shopping mall building. Since these hotels share some facilities, you should be aware of this when using the gym or pool."

"Worth the visit if you bring kids over - they can enjoy the beach, the pool, bathtub. There’s also bubble foam party the kids can enjoy. For adults, you can enjoy the whirlpool, cold plunge, sauna and steam. The breakfast options are quite good, with average taste. We had lunch at the restaurant too, but my advise - choose other options if you have. Not worth the price for the taste 🥺 BM Mountain View, a nearby restaurant worth the visit. Rooms are decent for typical 5-stars, but poor amenities . No hair conditioner, no body lotion provided. Hand wash brand is potentially from lifebouy based on the smell and color, unlike typical 5-stars where you get higher quality or premium brands. Service quality is not a typical 5-stars you get in Jakarta. We booked 3-rooms. The rooms condition overall were pretty alright, except that in 1 room - the towels smelled like rotten eggs and we immediately asked for change."

"“Good for a Transit Stay, but the AI-Driven Service Needs Work” I booked this hotel mainly because of the reviews mentioning the good food and free pick-up/drop-off shuttle service. Communicating with the hotel before check-in to arrange the shuttle was easy through the hotel’s WhatsApp number, which I found on Trip.com. Upon arrival, I noticed that the hotel seems to cater quite heavily to Chinese visitors. There was a line of Chinese guests checking in, and one of the front desk staff spoke Chinese fluently. Some of the notices around the hotel were also written in Chinese, presumably Mandarin. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff was nice and helpful. However, I was informed that I needed to install an app to use various hotel services during my stay, including the digital room key and room service. While this may be convenient for some guests, I personally found it a bit of a hassle at the time. The installation itself took some time, followed by an explanation of how to use the system. The food was average, with a reasonable selection of options. However, the refilling of some items was rather slow. For example, the milk for the coffee machine ran out and was not replenished promptly, and at times there was no cook available. The room itself was nice and spacious. One thing I particularly liked was the layout, with the washing area located near the entrance. The toilet unit also looked new. Unfortunately, the towels looked rather shabby and could use an upgrade. Complimentary bottled water was available upon request, which was a nice touch. One of the biggest downsides for me was the lack of a telephone in the room. All service requests have to be made through the app. I had to communicate with an AI chatbot, but the chatbot would often instruct me to go downstairs and confirm the request with the reception desk anyway. I found this rather confusing and wondered what the point of the AI system was if I still had to speak to a staff member in person. It seems the hotel is trying to adapt to AI and reduce the need for human staff, but the system does not seem to work effectively yet. In my experience, it actually added an extra step rather than making things easier. This was especially noticeable during check-out. There was only one front desk staff member, which was surprising. He was very patient and did his best to serve everyone, but the hotel really could have used more staff at that time. As a result, the line became quite long. Had I been informed during check-in that I could simply use the self-service machine to check out, I could have avoided the queue altogether. The location is in the CBC area, although finding the hotel felt a bit like navigating a labyrinth. It wasn't the easiest place to locate, especially for a first-time visitor. Overall, I would say you get what you pay for. For a one-night transit stay, the hotel was acceptable, especially with the free shuttle service and spacious room. However, the hotel could significantly improve its service by having more human staff available and making its AI-based system more practical and user-friendly."
