"Facilities: The hotel's infrastructure is quite comprehensive. My only minor complaint is the lack of a gym; even having two treadmills would be great for people dealing with jet lag, but unfortunately, there's nothing at all. Hygiene: The hygiene is excellent, clearly reflecting very standard hotel management. Environment: It's directly opposite the train station, and there's a food court just a short walk away. Plus, the supermarket downstairs and the trains are all very convenient."

"This hotel is absolutely amazing! I had a room with a view of the Basilica, and the cathedral was captivating both morning and evening with its grandeur and beauty. Definitely book a room with a view, and on a higher floor if possible – opening the windows wide is an absolute delight! Special thanks to the staff; they were incredibly friendly, responsive, and had excellent English. Everything was wonderful! I enjoyed the breakfasts; they had all the essentials, and the coffee was delicious. The hotel's location is superb, right next to a beautiful street lined with restaurants and terraces, all very clean and cozy. I explored the entire Pest side on foot, returning to the hotel during the day to rest. I highly recommend staying at this hotel to truly enjoy Budapest: it's great value for money and offers excellent quality. But the most important thing, for me, is the view of the cathedral – even the most luxurious five-star hotels in this part of the city don't offer such a view. There's a small restaurant downstairs; I was rushing to the airport and asked them to pack some food for me. The staff carefully packed coffee and sandwiches, generously adding vegetables and meat. It was a small detail among many impressions, but a very pleasant one! I highly recommend this hotel 💗"

"A pleasant impression from the very beginning: easy to get to, and the hotel is located in a beautiful building. The interior is also very cozy. We stayed in a suite – it was definitely worth it. A large room with a comfortable armchair area by the table, and a beautiful bathtub right in the room. However, we didn't use it as we felt it hadn't been cleaned well enough. The separate shower and toilet are convenient. Lots of space, wardrobes, and surfaces to place your belongings. We had an enormous suitcase for a bike, and even that found a place. A misunderstanding arose when calling a taxi to the airport: we had to contact reception three times to clarify the details. In the end, we were charged more at the airport than agreed upon. But I don't think this will be an issue for others if you don't travel with oversized luggage. Otherwise, it's very beautiful and cozy. The breakfast is small and simple, but sufficient for 2-3 days. Everything was fresh and tasty."

"The hotel is quite good and everything is very clean and modern, the problem that innovating with the chain's own app gave us errors every day. On the first day to check in, there was no reception open and it took us a while to complete all the steps to gain access. I do not recommend it for older people who are not good with technology. Then the app stopped working and it wouldn't open the reception or room doors for us."

"The room itself was sufficient, cozy, and clean, with a properly functioning air conditioner 👌. However, there was one issue that I felt the staff could have handled better. We had to change rooms because the door lock system was faulty. Besides from a simple apology, there was no service recovery or effort to make up for the inconvenience. We were also informed that our new room would be ready around 1:00 PM, but we only managed to check in at almost 3.00 PM. This made the experience quite an inconvenience, as we had to wait much longer than expected. But yeah location was good, near the subway station, good spot if you are a foodie, quick grocer run was really convenient for us too."

"This hotel has many great features, offering unobstructed views of the Parliament building. The bed in the room was very comfortable, and the night view of the Parliament from the room was stunning. It's also very convenient to catch the tram right outside the hotel. The only minor drawback was that we were assigned a first-floor room where the view was partially obstructed by tram cables, and there was no option to choose a higher floor when booking. Despite that, it's a very good hotel overall."

Leon Hotel & Lounge enjoys one of Budapest’s most iconic locations—just steps from the Chain Bridge and a five-minute walk from Buda Castle and the Castle Garden Bazaar. During construction, remarkably well-preserved Roman mill ruins were discovered beneath the site and are now displayed under a glass viewing floor in the lobby, giving guests a direct encounter with ancient history. The grounds also hold aristocratic significance as the former location of Count Béla Széchenyi’s palace and stables, once overseen by renowned architect Miklós Ybl. The hotel blends this rich heritage with contemporary design. Guests can enjoy two dining venues, including Leon Osteria, where refined Italian cuisine is served in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere. Guestrooms feature memory-foam mattresses and down comforters, creating a cosy and restorative place to unwind. A signature highlight is Leon’s Club—an intimate retreat that evokes the captivating aura of long-lost Roman civilisation and the enigmatic secrets of the past, where history and modern inspiration meet in a uniquely atmospheric setting.

"It only opened in 2025, the overall environment is new, the sanitation is OK, the rooms and public areas are generally kept clean. However, the hotel is located on the Castle side. If the main itinerary is to eat, drink, and go shopping in the city center, it is not recommended to live here. It takes a while to walk back and forth, and the time cost is relatively high. The bathroom design is more ”anti-human” shower design, water blocking is not very good, bathing is easy to get the whole bathroom floor wet, not convenient to use, but also a bit slippery."

Conveniently located right next to Exit N of Budapest-Keleti, despite that Exit N itself is difficult to locate and even unheard of by staff members of BKK Customer Service Centre. Many bus routes stopping right outside the hotel. Despite having a room on second floor facing directly at a flyover, the noise level is not noticeable.

The Estilo Fashion Hotel has great service, a comfortable room and a good location. We arrived in Budapest much later than expected and were very thankful to the staff and their speedy check in process that allowed us to get to our river cruise reservation on time. The staff were friendly and helpful each time we interacted with them. The location was perfect for us. We were steps away from the Fővám tér station which had metro and tram service to many of Budapest's major sites like the parliament, chain bridge, Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion and many more. We were also steps away from the large Central Market Hall and we were on the popular Vaci Street so there were plenty of souvenirs, restaurants, bars, cafes and other conveniences close by. We took the metro from the station by the hotel that gave us easy access to the Kelenfold Station (to get to/from Vienna or Bratislava), The room was compact but there was enough space for all of our things. It was a bit narrow with the placement of the desk and chair at the foot of the bed but we shuffled around to get by. There was a large storage cabinet as well as hangers for our things to help get stuff out of the way. The room has a mini fridge and we got a kettle and tea from the front desk during our stay. The room was quiet and the bed was comfy. The room ran a bit hot but the large window helped bring in some cool and fresh air. The bathroom was good with good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. They have an all in one body wash in the shower and some body lotion by the sink too. We did bring some of our products but the hotel's was decent too. They had a towel rack which made our towels nice and warm and helped dry off our swimming stuff after a nice visit to the Széchenyi Thermal Baths. The breakfast was nice and plentiful. They had very good scrambled eggs, breads and a tray of cured meats and cheeses each day. They also had a good variety of spreads and healthy items to choose from. We liked having yoghurt with a variety of seeds in it. The juice and coffee selection was nice too to help start our day. Getting there early wasn't a big issue for us but we found as it got busier not everything was consistently available.

This hotel is perfectly situated for sightseeing around the Buda Castle.  Locations such as the Fishermen’s Bastion and the Museum and within easy walking distance (although including some stairs).  The Chain Bridge is close, giving easy access to the sights in Pest. The facilities in the hotel are excellent and the breakfast is top range. The service is second to none.  We received top service from the Room’s Division Manager. I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it highly.

We had a really nice stay — it truly felt like home! The place was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was kind and responsive, which made the experience even better. One small suggestion though: it would be great to include a short video or clip with the instructions (like check-in steps or how to use certain appliances). It would make it easier to follow rather than reading through a long list of directions. Overall, a warm and pleasant stay that we’d definitely recommend!

My recent stay at Bristol Budapest Hotel was an excellent experience from start to finish; I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest. I arrived at around 02:00, and despite the late hour, check-in was completely seamless. The staff were clearly expecting me; this made the whole process quick and effortless; exactly what you want after a long journey. The room itself was immaculately clean and very well presented. I appreciated the small touches; like the fridge stocked with a bottle of water, which can be replenished simply by taking it down to reception. The bed was very comfortable, with soft, high-quality linen that made for a great night’s sleep. There was also a good tea and coffee setup in the room; a welcome addition. Even though my room faced the street, I slept with the window open and wasn’t disturbed by noise at all; something that really stood out. The bathroom was spacious enough, with plenty of clean towels and some lovely complimentary toiletries. At one point I needed an iron and ironing board; reception provided both immediately without any fuss; which summed up the efficiency of the service throughout my stay. Breakfast was a real highlight. I had seen some mixed reviews beforehand, but I genuinely don’t understand why. The selection was extensive; covering both continental and hot options. Everything was beautifully presented, tasted great, and was constantly replenished and well maintained. It was easily one of the best parts of my stay. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. Every single person I encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming; always with a smile. That level of hospitality made a big difference. Overall, this is a solid and reliable option for anyone visiting Budapest; I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The hotel is very close to the airport, and the shuttle bus is super convenient. The staff are warm, friendly, and professional. The hotel decor is unique, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The room was spacious, and there were even flight paths on the carpet! The only downside was that there was only one small bottle of 2-in-1 shampoo/body wash, and it was almost empty, making it very hard to squeeze anything out. I hope they can refill or replace it promptly next time.

It is also worth highlighting that there is a selection of desserts available without added sugar, which is a thoughtful and health-conscious offering. Make sure to book a river view room! The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of the Parliament Building, which lights up in golden hues at night. The Danube River reflects these lights, creating such a breathtaking night view that you don't even need to take a boat tour – you can enjoy the classic scenery right from your room. Every photo you take will look like a postcard. The hotel's location is superb, with bus and tram stops right outside, making it incredibly convenient to walk to Buda Castle and Fisherman's Bastion. The mattress was soft and comfortable, the best I've experienced on this trip. Overall comfort, view, and location all get full marks. This is definitely my top choice for a free and easy trip to Budapest, and I'll definitely request a river view room again next time!
