D-Resort Šibenik

Beyond expectations with impeccable service. The sense of quality and friendly professional service was evident from the moment we arrived at D Resort. The inviting lobby was homely and featured many unique furnishings and construction design that drew our attention. Staff upon checkin were well presented, spoke great English and had a genuine friendly professional approach, this carried all the way into the room with a follow up call to check if everything was OK. Our group dined at the top floor restaurant and were pleasantly surprised with the level of service and the waiters deep level of knowledge about the wines and dishes on the menu. Many of our group ordered steak and although the quality was disappointing the preparation and presentation was perfect. D Resort facilities were very nice with a spectacular outdoor infinity pool, cabanas, fitness area and wonderful views across the ocean. Rooms are large and spacious with good quality fittings and furniture and large TV with some english News channels. I enjoyed a nice walk around the local area that featured a clean modern marina, restaurant, small supermarket, shipyard and residential area. Could not fault D Resort and would highly recommend to any visitors in the region.
King Krešimir Heritage Hotel

Spacious rooms and bathroom, with beautiful views of the sea or the historic center, comfortable beds. Good cleaning of the rooms. The hotel is a heritage, located in a historic building and consequently has no lift. It is also not accessible by car (as is the entire historic center of Šibenik). There is a very convenient paid parking less than 5 minutes walk away which costs 5 kuna per hour. The staff is very kind, even if they lack experience and consequently the service is not always up to par (for example, they don't accompany you to your room with your luggage). Acceptable breakfast. Lights and heating are controllable with a tablet, which can be difficult/disturbing for non-tech-savvy people.
Bellevue Superior City Hotel

Très bel hôtel bien situé. Chambre deluxe mer magnifique.
Amadria Park Beach Hotel Jure

The resort as a whole is beautiful. An amazing location, very easy to get to, backing out on to a private beach with incredible sunset views of the coast and surrounding area. The winding walk along the sea between each property is a highlight in itself; with bar stops, restaurants, plentiful sun loungers, mini golf and other sights/activities over the roughly 2 mile stretch. Free parking is available for those with vehicles, with many sights and tourist locations, such as Krka National Park, only a short drive away. There are very cheap and efficient bus connections in to Sibenik for those without transport just outside the entrance. Hotel Jure itself is immaculate. Everything is set out and presented perfectly. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff. I had the most basic room available (Atrium View) which was spacious, finished to a very high standard and maintained throughout. For 'Atrium View' I would read 'no view at all' but I merely point this out for guests expecting something to look at rather than an outright criticism (I was hardly in the room, in truth). Outward facing rooms either side of the hotel I'm sure would provide pleasant views if that is what you're after. The food is no exception. Quite easily the best buffet breakfast and dinner I've experienced. The latter is worth paying for if you have no intention of leaving the resort. However, I would say that this would be a mistake given the many amazing and reasonably priced food options available in Sibenik. This in mind, you do have the option to attend the buffet dinner at the hotel as and when you please at a reasonable additional price, as well as at the on-site Dalmatian Ethno Village which was a great taste of local flavours. I hope that this is a glowing enough of a review to persuade you to consider this hotel. It really is a gem in the right circumstance. All that said, before you do consider, please, please CHECK THE EVENT SCHEDULE WITH THE HOTEL. The information isn't available online so I believe you will have to contact them directly. I believe this to be an unfair oversight, bordering on suspicious, with the potential for guests to unknowingly end up in the middle of large scale corporate events that dominate and completely take over the entire resort. To be clear, I do not fault the hotel for hosting such events, nor are they at all responsible for event attendee's behaviour, but I 100% would have chosen elsewhere for a relaxing break had I been aware. Should there be an event during your intended stay, you may be lucky. A seemingly smaller event was concluding on the first couple of days. Attendees were polite, kept to themselves and the event didn't feel as though it was intruding on the holiday. Later in the stay, however, it became apparent that I had made the mistake of booking during a much larger, two-night event which saw the resort inundated with loud parties of guests clad in event merchandise; hats & t-shirts, tote bags eve

We had a great time in this hotel. The location is great, Šibenik is only 10 minutes away from the hotel by car, but there is also the option of a taxi transfer. The staff were unbelievable, always smiling and providing a high quality of service, especially Maria, who made sure everything was okay during our entire stay. The resort also has a great entertainment program, every night there was a party for children, but for adults also. It was a vacation to remember, we will definitely be back.

This started off promising. You can't drive to this hotel. If you come by vehicle you get dropped off 150-200m away. A very friendly and helpful young man came down from the front desk and took our bags up. He was really great. Unfortunately when he left everything good about the hotel left as well. It's in a good location in the center of old town. Walk out your door and you're there. But location is only part of it. Our room was fine - no water in the room, no coffee, no tea. Just the usual bar fridge stocked to the rim with overpriced drinks that someone must buy (I honestly don't know who buys these things but someone must). One pillow per person - queen bed had two separate blankets. I've seen this before in my travels - this might be a local custom. I don't like it. One pillow then some sateen pillow thing that can't be laundered and I certainly don't want to put my head on after it's been in a hotel room and another gold fabric pillow that again can't be laundered and shouldn't be on a hotel bed. There was a fragrance of some sort in our room that drove my wife's nose crazy. She immediately got stuffed up and had a hard time sleeping. This has never happened before and we've stayed in some pretty sketchy places. No staff wearing masks - not even in food service. No obvious efforts to curb Covid in place - it's as if Covid doesn't exist here. No signs asking customers to wear masks either and the predominantly German clientele present while we visited did not wear masks at all - not even those who were coughing in the food service area. Disgusting. If there were signs anywhere they were not highly visible and no mask wearing was encouraged or enforced. The young lady at the front desk on the afternoon of our arrival (9/9) was just plain rude and unhelpful. The pink haired young woman at breakfast the next day looked and acted downright angry. Geez, people, if you don't like your job go do something else. The breakfast buffet is small - the smallest we've seen so far. No regular teas available - all herbal (mint, chamomile, peach etc.) No black, green, earl grey etc. Food choices limited - coffee was that garbage stuff out of a super auto machine. This was disappointing in a meditteranean influenced area that generally serves Illy or other superior coffees. This hotel has cut corners wherever and whenever they could. Would not stay here again and do not reccommend.
