Hotel located in the town center and closed to the famous historic spots. Within 10 minutes walk and you could do shopping, sightseeing and dinning whatever you like. Hotel breakfast is great with vary choices of food. Additional a large car parking facility and supermarket just next to the hotel. It’s make your trip more convenient. Must book again if I go to Bath next time.

Last month we stayed in the Premier Inn 100 yds down the road from the Hampton and boy the hotels are like chalk and cheese with the Hampton winning hands down. Reception brighter with plenty of cheerful receptionists to check you in. Rooms are well laid out with everything you need including a safe, fridge, hair drier and iron. Lovely big walk in shower with plenty of toiletries to hand and lovely fluffy towels and believe it or not flannels. Two sets are laid out in the bathroom ready for use. We had a twin room and found the beds to be larger than an average single bed, very comfortable and lovely bed linen. The TV on the wall is huge with plenty of channels to keep you entertained. Wifi is free. As for the breakfast well we found plenty of choice - sausages, mushrooms, beans, hash browns and scrambled egg. There was toast, croissants and muffins, fresh fruit, cold meats and cheese and I also spied pots of Oats so Simple you could make up and a waffle maker which was very popular. Given that this was included in the price (unlike the competitor where you have to pay an additional £9.50 for breakfast) we found it was a good enough start to our day. Location is great with the only downside, as with most city hotels, there is no on site parking. Quids cheaper than the competitor when we booked what is not to like?

This is a very nice, new and clean hotel sitting in the romantic Bath. Outside the window you can see and feel Bath culture. The room is pretty large enough. You can also enough whole day in yhe hotel with plenty of facilities like swimming pool and spa. Hotel also offer a fabulous breakfast and good service in the morning. The only thing that can be improved is there is no parking. You have to park in Charlotte street car park which take you 5min walk. The good thing is the car park is quite big and allow overnight parking while the car park next to hotel only allow few hours parking max.

Have returned from a 1 night stay at Hotel Indigo, booked for us by a family member so had done little research on the hotel, we arrived to a really friendly reception and were shown to our room 531. We were so impressed with the room and facilities, the entire place was completely spotless, comfortable beds, ample space and storage options, excellent lighting. The shower was divine! Reception phoned us to check everything was ok shortly after check in which was a nice touch and booked us in for breakfast at the hotels restaurant (The Elder) for the next morning at a time that suited us. Food and drinks at the elder were fantastic although a little pricey but that’s to be expected in Bath, however we didn’t mind the price given the excellent service received. Very close to city centre and all tourist attractions and good options of restaurants and bars all within a short walking distance. I really feel like I need to stress just how clean this entire hotel was, literally spotless in the room and all communal areas, one of the best we have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much to ask, all staff we encountered were more than friendly and made us feel welcome. We would definitely return to this hotel if in Bath again. Fantastic service all round. OK, along with 90% of the hotel residents, I have been staying as part of Team HPC. I am eight or nine weeks in, they all blurr into one. With two-to-four weeks left. Six different rooms - so here is the low-down. The hotel and rooms are clean. Really clean. The person making up my room during my last visit even folded-up my clothes and hung them up. Unfortunately, there is the option of ”green” (no clean) and full clean. There is nothing inbetween. I would be happy to have the water, biscuits, coffee, milk etc replaced and not have new towels/ bed made - but there was not an option. All or nothing. Location: Some reviews say it is in the ”rough part of town”. Ha! That is Bridgwater. I can say that as I used to live in a one-up/ one-down on Old Taunton Road. It is not in the rough part of town, it is just in the town. Also nice to see that with £32bn being pumped into the local economy the local council have done nothing. Not even fixed the potholes. The location is great, close to town, close to the motorway exits, near restaurants (although Marco Pierre restautant in hotel is excellent). Room: Generally comfy but really bad pillows. The one where one is not enough, but two gives you neck ache. I bought my own from home and (without fail) everyone used to say that was such a good idea on check-in/ check-out. I did ask if there were any other pillow options (memory foam, feather etc) but was told ”no”. There is a fridge with complimentary carbonated and still water, but these are only replaced if you go for the full clean option (see above). Avoid (at all costs) certain 4th floor rooms (from memory it was 401-404). They are right under the gym on the 5th dloor and I was woken up with the gym-bunnies going for it really early in the morning, or struggled to get to sleep at night. The sound of the treadmill and weights being dropped were heard by the wife on the phone. Parking: Yes, you have to pay an additional £10 per day, but they tell you that in advance. You generally need to park next-door, but leaving a £50K Audi there was not problematic (apart from the sea-gulls which crap all over the car - not the hotel's fault). Gym: I went, but not at silly o'clock in the morning or late at night. It is small. To the point I couldn't use one machine for hitting the person on the next machine. It is below-par at best. Brekkie: Stand-out great. OK, I have eaten at some hotels where they had 4 different types of sausage available (six if you include vegetarian and vegan), but the brekkie here is great. Full fry-up (nice quality and tasty (eggs are a tad insepid). Continental, croissants, ham, cheeses, different breads, and all the healthy stuff as well (yoghurt, fruit, nuts etc). What is a really nice touch is that you can also make a take-away coffee if you need one. Staff: Honestly, they are what makes this hotel. All super-friendly and helpful. Even the Chef (notoriously known as the most grumpy creatures on the planet) dropped a ”good morning” (Ste

I was surprised to have booked an authentic British-style hotel with a history of more than 200 years. Clean, tidy, bright and elegant, the quilt is warm and the heating is sufficient. I ordered breakfast included. Breakfast is very formally ordered from the menu. It is worth more than 20 pounds and is very delicious. I think the price/performance ratio is high. The hotel is very close to the Royal Crescent, but there is a long slope. It is a bit difficult to carry suitcases with you. It is good if you have a car.

Abbey hotel This hotel is located in the city center and is in a great location! From the hotel, it takes 2 minutes to walk to a parking lot that can be parked 24 hours a day. In the bath, driving is very inconvenient. But because of the epidemic, this is the safest option. You can download a parking delivery app MIPERMIT, choose manverstreet car park. 15 pounds per day. Male at check in could not have been more miserable, uninviting and hated life more if he tried. After grunting his way through the booking and sliding a piece of paper to sign and then sliding the key to me I wasnt quite sure if we had finished the transaction as there was no guidance from himself. I said are we all done and as he grunted at me I assumed we were there so I left to find the room. The room was on the ground floor. Bathroom was grotty and the flush just poured out water for half an hour a time every time it was used. Bed was small. Room was dated. Phone was dirty and covered in whatever finger juice had congealed over many years. The carpet was threadbare. The room was an embarrassment to be fair. Went into the bar to get food. Asked for the tablet, the member of staff was busy swearing with the ”regulars” and I felt as though I was causing her problems but she obliged. Ordered a Magners via the tablet, an Astril was dumped on the bar. I left it as that wasnt my order, then was barked at by another woman that was my drink ”but she was too busy to bring it over”, granted there were 2 people at the bar at the time. I said I didnt order that, she told me I had, I assured her I hadnt, then lo and behold they apparently had no Magners so I took the Astril for ease. The food was a pizza which in reality was a burnt base with some mush chucked on. Horrible. Back to the room, good sleep. Breakfast in the morning. No knives, no beans. 2 members of staff having a yap, interrupted them and got what was needed, they went back to yapping. Check out the food and everything was sorted by the company. The receptionist told me it wasn't. I asked her to check as I knew it was, she said I have but I will check again. She told me no the company dont cover it. I assured her they do and this time showed her the booking. She called someone else over who told her to bill the company if thats what i wanted. I left and then they proceeded to moan about me not accepting that the booking was not including food so I had to return and have more of the same conversation. As a diamond elite member this hotel is an embarrassment to the brand. The staff are rude. The rooms are inadequate and dated and the check in and check out process is shambolic at best. Need to do better. Wont be staying there again.

The room is very spacious, the breakfast is very rich, with Scottish characteristics slowly, the hotel is not big, it is an accommodation facility for a golf course. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic ❤️ It is worth staying, playing, and tasting.

Nice building. It is a steep climb from the main road if you are walking. There is no car park facilities. Plenty of off street parking both on Bathwick Hill Road and North Road. Seemed quite safe. If you are on the second floor in the new building and have dust allergy.. run.. Self catering kitchen do not have any hot plates. But there is microwaves and work top ovens. Reception staff was very knowledgeable and obliging. We did enjoy our stay.

The hotel service is first-rate, the front desk staff is super nice, the lady will chat with you by the way, if necessary, a cup of tea and coffee will be made during the waiting time, especially sweet. I was worried about the room’s small and specially set standard room. When I entered the room, I felt that the space was quite large. We brought two 28-inch boxes and there was no problem at all. We ordered the main course for breakfast according to the menu. The buffet cakes were very authentic. The style, Egg Benedict is very good, but don’t try blood pudding lightly. I am not used to it no matter how many times I eat it. Bath is very small and all attractions can be reached on foot. The hotel is 7-8 minutes walk from the Roman baths, bath abbey is opposite the baths, and the famous thermae bath spa is 3 minutes away from abbey. The house of Jane Austen and the fashion meseum are on the same road, even the farthest The Royal Crescent is only a 15-minute walk away. It should be noted that the check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out before 11 am. Although the time is a bit tight, this service is really the best in the English-style hotel I have ever stayed in. When we put down the suitcase and go When we turn to the city, we have already put it in the room when we come back. When we check out, we will chat with the young lady at the front desk. Not only will I give you travel suggestions but also recommend the hotel to you, we talked about our trips, no I feel that I am staying in a hotel, it is very warm, highly recommended😉

We stayed in a triple room and were delighted with the comfort and cleanliness. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing - 2 of us had the full English and 1 had avocado, smoked salmon and poached egg on toast. There was also a selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, juices, pastries, coffee and tea. All delicious. The location is superb, being very central.

This really is a special place to stay. We had such a warm welcome from Peter and Candi for our stay as a group of 18 to walk in the Quantock hills to celebrate a 60 birthday. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The garden tucked away at the back of the hotel is stunning, filled with cottage flowers and rose arches - the perfect place for lunch or an evening pre supper drink. (The California salad is gorgeous!) Breakfast is great - a super buffet and cooked breakfast cooked to order and sourced from the local area. A rare thing in a hotel now days. Peter and Candi made sure we were looked after beautifully, nothing was too much trouble, a friendly and very efficient team. Thank you. Special mention to Jen who was our point of contact prior to our stay and ensured everything was in order when our large group turned up to stay and eat at the hotel. She really went the extra mile to make sure everything was in place for our arrival and looked after us beautifully during our stay. A fabulous weekend and a great, friendly place to stay with home cooked food.

A friend and I stayed at The Castle for a girls weekend away. It was a nice treat and perfectly located for exploring Taunton centre. Bars and restaurants just a stroll away. Staff were friendly. Parking was convenient. £10 for 24 hours. Room was clean but very expensive for what it was as we upgraded but it wasn't anything special.
