"Superbly situated Hotel with friendly staff who are so helpful. Lovely welcome card on arrival and the room was like a mini apartment. Particularly liked the kitchenette and the fact that you could cast to the TV. There isn't a restaurant but plenty of eateries in the local area who offer a discount if you are staying at the hotel. My sister and I will definitely stay again!"

"Have been going to this hotel for over 25 years as have family in Liverpool. Hotel staff are as always, lovely and helpful. Great location for middle of Liverpool. Food resonable price and good quality. Drinks quite expensive. Where this hotel falls down is its getting a bit battle weary. Heating poor, had to get an extra heater brought in and cold spoilt the night. Lighting poor and bedside light broken...and has been for a while. Broken tile in bathroom a trip and cutting hazard. Lack of bedside electrical plugs not really acceptable in a Hilton hotel in this day and age. Needs upgraded to maintain Hilton standards, and for the price is easily beaten by local competition"

"Stayed one night with my daughter for my birthday. The hotel is very central and the reception staff were welcoming. Our room was large and modern, but extremely dark, if you plan on doing makeup, it might be worth bringing a lighted mirror. I had requested a quiet room and was placed at the back, but unfortunately there was a constant noise that sounded like a generator, as well as the sound of glass bottles being emptied somewhere. Some guests also returned around 4 a.m., so I was lucky if I got an hour of sleep. That said, I would still stay again."

"The service was extremely poor as we had no house cleaning done in our room in the 2 nights spent there. I called the customer service and was told cleaners were going to come and change the bed linen, towels and clean the room but that was false. I called a few times to chase this and nothing was done so I slept on the same old bed linen and I had to later chase up to get some clean towels. The service was really poor and there weren't many breakfast options to choose from as there wasn't much variety."

"Hard Days Night Hotel is in the heart of The Beatles area, next to Mathew Street where The Cavern Club is located. Despite its being weekend, we didn't hear any noise at night from our room on the fifth floor. The bedroom was large and pleasant. (Our room had a picture of George - my favourite Beatle - on the wall, which made me very happy!) Things some people find remiss are (1) no fridge in the room (at least not in the Classic Double), (2) TV had a very basic remote and fuction, and while it claimed to allow internet access, we couldn't use any app /mirroring from our iPhones; (3) toiletaries were very basic (just liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner refilled); (4) no movable shower with a hose. Breakfast was truly excellent! It's self-service buffet-type, but all the full-English parts were there and they were all very, very good. We also went to a bar in the evening and it was also very nice with Beatle-themed cocktails, in addition to usual drinks. Overall, we would definitely love to come back to this hotel!"

4-star Pullman Liverpool is a modern waterfront hotel at Kings Dock offering 216 stylish en-suite rooms and suites. Designed for comfort and convenience, it features a restaurant, bar and lounge, flexible meeting and event spaces, and a 24-hour fitness lounge. Ideal for both business and leisure stays in Liverpool city centre, the hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout and is within walking distance of the waterfront, Albert Dock, and Liverpool ONE.

"I stayed at the Pullman Liverpool Hotel for one night as a last-minute booking after reading several reviews and watching a few TikTok videos—and I’m glad I did. On arrival, I was greeted warmly, checked in quickly, and made my way up to my room without any hassle. I had emailed ahead requesting a nice view as it was my first time in Liverpool. I was placed on the 8th floor, which was great, but unfortunately my view overlooked the roof of another building. I did ask if this could be changed, but the hotel was fully booked due to the Easter break, which I completely understood. The room itself was comfortable and overall made for a pleasant stay. The location is a big plus—just a short walk to the Liverpool Museum, bars, restaurants, the wheel, and plenty of shops for a bit of retail therapy. Parking is quite expensive, but the hotel does stamp your ticket which gives you a discount. I checked in at 3:30pm, checked out at 12, and paid £18 for parking—without the discount, it could easily cost 5–8 times more. Now for the negatives: cleanliness could definitely be improved. I met some of the cleaners when checking out—lovely, friendly staff—but the room needed more attention. There was dust on surfaces, hair on the tissue container, only two tissues left, the bathroom and mirrors weren’t cleaned thoroughly, and the shower gel hadn’t been refilled, so after a few pumps there was none left. Overall, despite the cleaning issues, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again."

It serves grill-style dinners – ideal for a client entertaining or a romantic meal – and there is 24-hour room service for added convenience.

"It's in a great location and the hotel was perfectly clean and the communal areas were grand and breakfast was great. However, we paid a bit more for a room with a good view but there was no mini fridge in the room, nowhere to hang towels, the room itself was incredibly basic for the price. The spa was not kept particularly clean, I didn't see anybody around doing anything in the spa itself and it was very busy due to half-term. It ticks all the boxes just fine, but for the money we did expect more."

JJay-PeeMy Two-Night Stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool: Central City Experience Just wrapped up a fantastic two-night stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool and wanted to share my thoughts! At £126.90 plus a small £4.80 property fee, it offered excellent value for a city center experience. The location at 46-48 Foley Street puts you right in the heart of Liverpool, which was perfect for my mini-break. Being centrally located meant I could easily walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas without relying on transportation. The vibrant city atmosphere was right on my doorstep! I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city. What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking. The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place. Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank. **Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for weekend city breaks, concert-goers, or anyone wanting to soak up Liverpool's vibrant atmosphere.

GGuest UserI will start my review by saying the staff were very helpful and can only work with what they have. Our check in was fine but on getting to our room it was like a fridge and the heating was very poor and even after being on for an hour or more was barely warm. We had to get a connector heater which was broken!! We had to prop it up with part of the hair dryer. The draft at the window was like a gale force wind. The room was well showing its age there was no mirror over the dressing table/desk. And the curtains were thread bare. The swimming pool was OK but the steam room and jacuzzi was not working. I was expecting a lot more from a mercury hotel. We were very disappointed.

GGuest UserThe Crowne Plaza Liverpool Airport was clean throughout, very comfortable bedrooms (We had a double bed in one room 003 and 2 doubles in another 049). Staff were very friendly and helpful.  Food: We had food in the restaurant area on the first night. 2 of us opted for the tuna and one for the ribeye steak. The steak was beautiful. The tuna had to go back for extra cooking as they were both still swimming. Apparently there was an ‘agency chef’ in the kitchen. Tuna was very tasty when we got it back.  We would all definitely stay again the next time we visit Liverpool.

GGuest UserExcellent location and a very spacious room. Theres a gym too. The service provided by the lady who checked us in was bad. She didn’t brief us on anything at all. Just processed it. Later that day, we sat at the cafe and noticed another Recep lady briefing a couple she was helping to check in. Talking about the gym, laundry area, nearest Tesco etc. On the first day at about 6 pm, I noticed my room was still cold and called the Recep. Unfortunately the same lady who checked me in earlier answered the phone. She just gave vague directions on how to on the aircon and I told her I already did that for hours and adjusted the temp to 26 but it was still freezing cold. She didn’t bother to help further even when I called two more time. Later at about 1 am, I woke up freezing cold and called the Recep. This time a guy answered and readily said he will come and check the air con for me when I told him the earlier gal didn’t help at all. When he came up, he realised that the aircon was on AC and not heating mode. And reset it for me. Thank God for him. Learnt from my phone that the temp was 4 deg that night due to some cold front and rain. I had suffered 6.7 hours of freezing cold because of the laziness of the other lady earlier. Not happy about it. Very unprofessional and unbecoming of service staff.
