"Posto storico e rinomato, molto bella la posizione (anche se beach club troppo affollato e poca privacy) ma assolutamente decadente e non degno delle 4 stelle… le camere hanno letti piccoli e sono molto vecchie con frigoriferi rumorosi. Ristorante La Tortue molto buono e con visuale incredibile. La colazione scadente ed il servizio di reception sebbene molto gentile ha difficoltà con i sistemi di prenotazione. Anche la connessione wi-fi va e viene. Lo consiglierei per i ristoranti ma non per dormirci"

"Hotel Sobrado offers fantastic value for money. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the staff made a lasting impression. The woman (sorry forgot the name) at the reception desk was wonderfully warm, welcoming, and exceptionally professional throughout my stay, always eager to handle any small request. The service overall is great, with thoughtful amenities like a convenient shuttle transfer directly to the beach. If you prefer to stretch your legs, the hotel is just a comfortable 10-minute walk from the sand and turquoise waters."

"Un hotel de 4 estrellas que para el país en el que estamos está perfecto. Nosotros solo reservamos con desayuno para poder hacer más actividades pero no sé si ofrece la opción de todo incluido. Personal muy amable y atento, habitaciones con aire acondicionado y minibar. Cruzas la calle y está la playa, relación calidad precio un poco elevada para el tipo de hotel pero recomendable. Desayuno de calidad y variado con tortillas y huevos fritos hechos en directo"

"I had a few initial issues with the electricals in the room which the manager Miguel sorted quickly, lovely guy. The staff were very friendly and the free shuttle bus into Santa Maria meant could enjoy a nice sandy beach. Quiet location with restaurant and bar and nearby mini market. "

"We stayed in this hotel for only two nights, and the experience was disappointing as we arrived. With outer temperatures of about 29 degrees, we quickly found that the air conditioning in our room was not working properly. Unfortunately, one of my friends was sick, victim of the tourist (catched elsewhere), and had to stay in this stunning room. When I mentioned the problem with the staff, they just put their hand on air conditioning to make sure it worked ”normally”. It was unacceptable not to benefit from all the facilities, but they did not show any willingness to find a solution. I tried to bear this unsustainable heat, but in the middle of the night I couldn't bear anymore. The hotel was completely complete and then offered two rooms, ”as by magic”. But I had to return the keys from the morning. Later, they called a technician who checked the installation and assured me that he was ”cold” in the room. However, even after having left the air conditioning operation at 16 degrees for 24 hours, The room was still stunning. This experience has clearly highlighted the lack of professionalism and a poor management of problems. No practical solution has been proposed, except for a possible fan... which has never been brought. It is really sad to live such an experience for the last days of our stay in Cape Verde, especially after choosing this hotel because of its many praiseful comments. The hotel is very nice and very comfortable and it is very nice to get a good price."

"Guy who took us in and helped with bags name Jose Level was wonderful his custom service was uniqiue. He got us feeling like vip guests. We are so grateful for him service for first meeting to last and want to thank him bottom of our hearts. This guy was kindest and had best service in whole kap verde. And also restaurant rancho and the manager gildo was unbelieveble. Theyr food was awesome and gildos customer service was in next level. We are blessed to meet these two guy who cares more than anyone about clients and client service."

"We were first in Robinson Cabo Verde. We would be very warmly welcomed with a glass sect. The sports offer was perfectly tailored to us with cycling and yoga. The food was very good from the preparation, from the selection there would still be air upwards. The beach is a genial, beautiful clean sand evening beautiful sundowner. Our room was OK but is also renovated. The biggest criticism is the appearance of the employees. Little emotionality, no smile. You run through the club and no one of the employees greet. It certainly depends on the indigenous people, but we haven't experienced any other Robinson yet. Overall we would like it, but we wouldn't travel there anymore in March. The first week was extremely cold and windy the second week was, unfortunately, always very fresh in the evening."
