Arrived at the hotel at 11 AM and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, helping us check in early and even upgrading us to a business room. The room wasn't huge, but the layout was very efficient, with distinct areas for the bathroom, sleeping, and a small living space. Everything was spotless and comfortable. The hotel's location is super convenient for transport. It's right next to the Sands Hotel, and just a short walk to catch a bus from Sands directly to The Venetian, The Londoner, and The Parisian. Lotus Square is right next to the hotel, and behind it is Macau Polytechnic University. If you want to visit the Ruins of St. Paul's, it's about a twenty-minute walk. Fisherman's Wharf is directly opposite the hotel, and there's a bus stop right on the side of the hotel, making getting around incredibly easy. For this price, given the location and the hotel's quality, I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Macau.
Excellent stay! The hotel is centrally located, right next to Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul's. It's incredibly convenient, with many bus routes right outside, making it easy to get anywhere. The staff are all very friendly and proactive in greeting guests. The facilities have a unique, retro charm; the phone in the room even gives off a vintage Republic of China era vibe. The bedding is comfortable, and the room comes with a bathtub. The mini-bar is well-stocked and everything is complimentary. Breakfast is a set menu, with both Chinese and Western options that change daily. I really enjoyed it – each dish was exquisitely prepared, though it might be a bit light for those with a big appetite. There's also an open-air rooftop bar, which is very pleasant for an evening drink. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Macau.
I came to Macau for an IVE concert and stayed at three hotels (Grand Emperor, Altira, and Hotel Taipa Square). I originally thought Hotel Taipa Square would just be a one-night stopover, but it ended up exceeding my expectations the most!
First, the overall hotel style is very modern and convenient. After check-in, the front desk kindly arranged a room upgrade for us, which I greatly appreciate! 👍🏻 Secondly, regarding the deposit, Hotel Taipa Square was the most thoughtful. Mainland Alipay is accepted, and they use a freeze function, so the freeze automatically lifts after check-out (unlike a certain five-star hotel that insists on cash for deposits 🙄, which is very outdated).
The room itself was also very clean and tidy. Though small, it had everything you needed and felt very secure 👍🏻. There's also a window with a view of Taipa's night scenery, quiet and peaceful~
It's located in the northern part of Taipa, but the surrounding neighborhood is very convenient, with many convenience stores and breakfast shops downstairs. It's also very close to the Light Rail Transit station and bus stops.
Regarding power outlets, Hotel Taipa Square's own outlets are universal, so there's no need to bring an adapter, and it's not recommended to use one (there are warnings). You can also store your luggage for free after check-out, and the service is very professional. All in all, it's a fantastic hotel 🏨 with excellent value for money.
Every time we renew our child's passport, we stay here. It's super convenient for getting things done, there are lots of food options nearby, and it's easy to get to the border crossing. Plus, the hotel offers shuttle service. Oh, and the egg tarts in the lobby are absolutely delicious!
For my trip to Macau, Trip.com recommended the Holiday Inn. Upon arrival, I found the hotel conveniently located on Beijing Street. The front desk staff and lobby manager were all very attentive and welcoming, truly reflecting the high standard of service you'd expect in a tourist city. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, clean, and well-designed, and the room service is excellent. During my stay, I reported some noise from the surroundings, and it was addressed promptly. I was very satisfied with their quick response.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, with cultural landmarks such as the Lotus Square, Dr. Ho Yin Park, Macau Polytechnic University, and Beijing Tong Ren Tang all nearby, offering plenty of options for exploration.
My stay at the L'Occitane Hotel in Macau was absolutely fantastic, I have to give it a five-star rating.
The hotel is L'Occitane-themed, and the room design is cozy with a touch of French romance. The aroma details are perfectly executed; stepping into the room immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable.
From the lobby to the guest rooms, everything exudes a strong French ambiance. The design is exquisite yet warm, and you're greeted by a subtle herbal scent as soon as you enter, instantly putting you at ease and giving you that true vacation feeling.
The room was spacious with a thoughtful layout, and the decor details were incredibly well-done, with L'Occitane elements visible everywhere. The best part was the toiletries provided in the room – all authentic L'Occitane products with a sophisticated and pleasant scent, making for an excellent bathing experience.
Service was equally outstanding. The front desk and concierge staff were friendly and professional, and check-in was efficient and seamless.
Right downstairs is a large shopping mall with plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping, making it perfect for both short getaways and relaxing trips.
The hotel's location might be a bit off the beaten path, but it's only a 5-minute walk to Grand Lisboa.
In late May, I took a ferry from Hong Kong's Sheung Wan pier to Macau's Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, then walked 20 minutes to the Rio Hotel. The hotel strictly enforces its 3 PM check-in policy, and there were many guests waiting to check in at that time, so we all had to queue up. The standard room was very spacious (much more so than Hong Kong hotels). I booked the hotel through Trip.com for an average of CNY 450 per night, which included breakfast for two (the breakfast was decent and suited to average tastes). The hotel is very close to Macau's famous landmark, the Ruins of St. Paul's, and is within walking distance. After checking out this morning, I stored my luggage and spent most of the day exploring Taipa. To get back to mainland China via the Gongbei Port, you can hitch a ride on the shuttle bus from the neighboring hotel.
I visited Taiwan in 2019, and now that I've explored Hong Kong and Macau, I've checked off all the boxes for my travels!
Traveling with a friend after the May Day holiday, I booked two rooms – one with twin beds and one with a king bed. There was a connecting door between them. I called the front desk and asked them to open it, instantly turning them into a convenient suite for interacting, yet we could close the door for privacy when resting.
The hotel is surprisingly quiet despite being in a bustling area. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. I booked without breakfast, opting instead to explore the streets and alleys for a unique Portuguese-style breakfast, which was a wonderful experience.
Upon returning to Gongbei Port, I booked a shuttle at the lobby for a specific time. The 8-seater car was very comfortable, much better than taking a random taxi to the port. The driver's service was excellent, a definite commendation!
The hygiene is good, and the sea-view breakfast environment is pleasant. It's convenient to get there by taking the Galaxy Shuttle and crossing the skybridge after getting off. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to The Venetian, but it only runs a few times a day. The facilities are a bit old, especially the hairdryer. A deposit of 500 MOP is required, payable only by Alipay or cash, WeChat is not accepted. The service is decent; I didn't have a power adapter for charging, and they sent one up immediately.
Absolutely loved my stay at Lisboeta Macau! What a pleasant surprise to find the Line Friends themed store there, I immediately started snapping photos, haha! The grand, elegant, and stylish lobby made a strong impression. Their Chinese and Western breakfast options were also fantastic, with a wide variety to choose from. I personally preferred the Chinese/Hong Kong style dim sum restaurant; the Hong Kong-style milk tea was seriously amazing! And I adored the borscht and char siu bao – I ate so much in the morning! The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable. Even though it's an older hotel, it doesn't feel dated at all; the cleanliness and service were both excellent and very thoughtful. I'll definitely choose Lisboeta Macau again on my next trip to Macau! ど⚈₃⚈う♡
