"The hotel is clean and tidy, and the breakfast is simple yet delicious. It's very close to Genting Market, so we just strolled over in the evening. In the morning, it's a quick 5-minute taxi ride to the North Slope Tourist Distribution Center, which is super convenient. All the staff are very friendly. When we checked out, they even gave us local handmade soap and ginseng as gifts. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit."

"Very nice hotel with friendly front desk staff and neat room with super comfy king size bed! Location not in Changchun downtown centre but easy access to anywhere by DiDi car ride. Quite many restaurants around the hotel but quality was just the local-okay ones. Personal favorite was 王記醬骨頭館 which is 15mins away by car, their Shandong food was superb and good price, we love it! Hotel breakfast was great in the varieties and taste! Yet one of the remarks to the hotel is, the shower gel bottle was totally empty when we checked in the room so my recommendation is if the housekeeping quality can be enhanced it would be a perfect hotel for holiday that we enjoyed so much! It was a good value choice indeed 👍"

"The hotel staff were incredibly warm and patient, proactively offering information on nearby restaurants and attractions. The front desk girls even insisted on helping us four elderly folks with our luggage all the way to our rooms. The rooms were comfortable and cozy, and the restaurant's food maintained the consistent high quality we've come to expect from Hilton Garden Inn – rich and diverse. "The room was excellent! First off, it was very clean. When I first walked in, the scent was pleasant and not overwhelmingly sweet. The laundry service was also fantastic. Every time I went to the laundry room, as soon as I was about to start, an employee would come over to help me. After the clothes were washed and dried, they'd be hung on my doorknob, so I'd have clean clothes the next day. The front desk service was good too. When I went for late-night congee, the staff were very welcoming and even told me they had dumplings and steamed buns in addition to the congee! 👍"

"Comfortable hotel that is close to Jilin Railway Station - about 6 mins drive away. Great for a nights stay especially if you’re headed out to take the train the next day! We had to catch an early train so we asked for the hotel to pack breakfast - which contained - a packet of milk, a preserved packaged egg, bread (I liked this), some packaged sausage. They also provided bottled water and were fine when we requested for more."

"This time I came to Changbai Mountain to play, it was really wise to choose Qingstop Hotel! The single-family villa is very comfortable and the privacy is very good. The room was cleaned very cleanly and the details were taken care of very carefully. The most pleasant surprise is the minibar in the room, drinks and beer are all free, too real. Breakfast must be tried, the taste and taste are online, and the food is particularly satisfying. The staff are very kind and have questions to ask them to help. The scenery around the hotel is beautiful, the air is fresh, and it is especially relaxing to walk in your leisure time. The overall stay is particularly comfortable, I will stay here next time, and I really recommend it to everyone!"

Because of this, I've had the opportunity to compare different Hampton properties and feel I have a good perspective. My stay at this particular hotel was, as always, excellent. The front desk staff was professional, housekeeping service was meticulous and thoughtful, and the restaurant offered a rich variety of dishes with warm service. AAnonymous UserHad a fantastic trip to Changbai Mountain during the May Day holiday! So lucky that Tianchi Lake was open. The hotel was incredibly comfortable – the room was spacious, bright, clean, and the bedding was super comfy. The service was warm and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The outdoor hot spring is definitely worth experiencing, and the facilities are great. It was an amazing trip!

This old dog finally flopped down in Jilin City, relieved to rest my paws at the grandly named Song Jiang Bonanza Winning Hotel. “Winning,” I thought—until my non-smoking room greeted me with a stale tobacco haze. One whiff and I nearly cancelled the stay on the spot.
Room Rescue
Cue Mr Hong Dejian—calm, English-speaking, and clutching the keys to redemption. He patiently showed me alternative rooms until we found one that didn’t smell like a poker night. Had I left, I would’ve missed what came next.
Comfort Food = Home
Dinner delivered a miracle: stewed chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. One bite and—boom—mummy’s cooking. After days on the road, I finally found food in China that tasted like home. Tail wagging resumed.
Care Beyond the Call
Mr Hong returned with a portable heater, pointed out city landmarks, and even taught me how to take a non-reflective photo (yes, this dog learns fast). His easy friendliness softened the edges of dirty window panes and mostly Mandarin-only staff. I even showed him the ink-black towel after wiping the window—evidence, not barking.
Menu Meltdown & A Win
At the restaurant, I was handed a Chinese-only menu after saying I don’t speak Mandarin. I hit the roof. To their credit, reception listened: I received a call from the lady boss, and the issue was acknowledged. Then a hero appeared—the restaurant lady, who patiently translated dish names so I could choose lunch and dinner without guesswork. Gold bone earned.
City Interlude: Jilin Catholic Church
Between meals and meetings, I visited Jilin Catholic Church (吉林耶稣圣心堂)—a quiet pause from hotel hiccups. The church offered a moment of stillness, a reminder that even on a bumpy stay, the city holds pockets of grace.
Logistics That Worked
Back at the desk, the reception lady manager efficiently arranged my transport to Wusong Island—quick, competent, and reassuring.
Breakfast & The Fine Print
Breakfast surprised me in the best way: healthy, balanced, a thoughtful mix of local and Western dishes. One final bone to chew—early booking didn’t pay off as prices dropped later. A truly Winning Hotel would honour the lower rate at check-in.
Verdict
Despite communication bumps, this is a solid winter hideout: good Songhua River views, comforting food, and fast service when it counts. It really does take one good sheep—thank you, Mr Hong—to dim the rest of the flaws.

MM9955****Traveling during the off-peak season, the hotel was excellent, and the front desk was incredibly responsible, taking care of everything. The hotel even has its own shuttle service with drivers who pick you up and drop you off wherever you need to go, and they even help you bargain! Much appreciated. Soaking in the hot springs while it snowed, then hitting the slopes at 8:30 AM – it was a fantastic experience.

GGuest UserBooking this B&B was the best decision of our trip! The room design is incredibly stylish, with the wooden decor perfectly executed. The small courtyard outside the window was particularly beautiful after a light snowfall, with a dusting of snow on the table. The room was also spotlessly clean, the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation. The location was also very convenient. The front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful, providing full guidance from before check-in right through to check-out. The entire experience was fantastic, like being welcomed by an old friend. She even specially prepared a gift, which was a lovely touch!

NnurelyaImpression: The hotel is so cute and really kids oriented. Its newly built and opened, hence not all taxi driver knew about the location. In Trip.com - English, the name is Sunggari Club Hotel. But if you want to ask taxi driver or bus, you should mention Sungouli instead and search in Amap using chinese name given in Trip.com.
Location: West slope of Changbaishan. If the weather permitted, you can see the peak of Changbaishan from far away but very nice view. It was more happening at night around Swissotel area and more shops and restaurant around that area.
Hotspring located in Clubmed building not far ifrom Swissotel and Burger King. The shuttle bus will only drop and pickup at Swissotel and not Clubmed, so you have to walk back to Swissotel once you finished with the hotspring.
Pros:
1. Kids friendly - decorations, play area, room. All so cute and pretty.
2. The room package inclusive of the entrance vouchers and activities - skiing, deer place, hot spring, special event, breakfast. So it is really worth the money.
3. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful - even tried their best to communicate with us in English.
4. There is laundry room with washing machine and dryer and the detergents to wash and dry your clothes.
Cons:
1. The hotel supposed to be kids friendly, but smoking is allowed inside the hotel. We've requested non-smoking room and we've got it. but the problem is, it is not non-smoking floor. Shockingly, there is smoking area in the hallway of the rooms besides the elevator in every level. So the smell will travel to the entire hallway and into the room. Since it was winter and heavy snow, we can't really open the window to let the smell get off. It was so suffocating. Really frustrated in regards of this as I strongly suggest for the hotel to consider implement a strict rules not allowed smoking in the premise and have a dedicated smoking area far from the room and eating place to promote safe place for the kids.
2. Even the hotel considered new, the toilet bowl still old-school, not automated as most of the new airbnb/homestay that we went. So for Malaysian, no bidet is the big concern 😅.

AAllxtThis hotel is excellent! We're foreigners, from Russia, and it was our first time visiting Songhua Lake. The New Story Suite Hotel made us feel right at home. All the staff were incredibly kind. There are so many fun spots in this hotel! Games, karaoke, and a restaurant are all on the -1 floor. I have three kids, so there were plenty of things for them to do. It was super convenient to bring the children here.
My favorite part was the massage. I especially loved Mr. He (He Ruiyou). His hands are truly amazing!
We'll definitely stay here again next time!

We stayed at this hotel during the New Year holidays with our large family (5 people: 2 adults and three children).
We rented a large room, which was cozy and clean. We all felt comfortable in this spacious room, and there were enough beds for everyone.
We loved everything about this hotel: the friendly staff, and the cleanliness was top-notch – we walked barefoot in the room. You can request room cleaning as needed.
Downstairs, there's a hot water pool. The water is changed every three days.
But what I liked most was the Tesla shuttle service to the mountain.
And the most wonderful thing about this excellent hotel is the masseur He Ruiyou (that's his name in Chinese). After a day on the slopes, a massage from Mr. He is exactly what you need. He is the best masseur I've ever encountered.

SSh1n1ngArriving in Erdaobaihe by car, I checked into this hotel and the front desk service immediately earned a perfect score. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, the front desk remotely guided me to a parking spot, saving me from driving around unnecessarily.
During check-in, the staff patiently explained local Korean ethnic cuisine recommendations and even helped us plan a mountain entry route that avoided backtracking. Due to the significant temperature difference between morning and evening, the front desk thoughtfully provided hot water. When I suddenly needed to print my mountain entry voucher, they printed it for me free of charge, demonstrating incredibly high efficiency.
Communication was smooth throughout my stay, and the staff were always polite and accommodating, ready to help with anything. Their warm and reliable service made my trip to the scenic area completely stress-free. I highly recommend this hotel, largely thanks to the front desk's thoughtful and meticulous service.

MM35346****Huge thanks to the lovely front desk lady who upgraded my room! One of the staff members was truly amazing, and I really appreciate her efforts and kindness. There's a great 'iron pot stew' restaurant about 200 meters to the left when you exit the hotel – the food was delicious and I'd definitely recommend it. The owner even suggested we try ice fishing! However, apart from the excellent service from that one staff member, the hotel's facilities and room amenities were pretty average. I didn't feel it offered great value for money. The pictures are dedicated to that wonderful lady who brightened our stay.

SSunflower917Here’This resort hotel was the most satisfying stay of our entire 8-day China trip across Harbin, Changbaishan, Xuexiang, and Yabuli. We stayed in a family residence unit, which allowed all of us to live together comfortably under one household.
The resort is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our unit even included a mahjong table and a private hot spring, which made the stay very enjoyable. Although the price is not cheap, it is definitely worth the money.
The butler service was excellent — the staff were attentive and always did their best to accommodate our requests.
Highly recommended. I’m confident you will have a pleasant and memorable stay here.
