"As a food lover, my top priority when visiting Suzhou is to stay somewhere with plenty of good food nearby, and Suzhou City Holiday Hotel perfectly met that need! It's just a few minutes' walk to Shiquan Street, where you'll find all sorts of Suzhou snacks, coffee shops, and unique restaurants, big and small – perfect for stepping out for a bite anytime. The front desk even recommended some local snack spots that authentic locals frequent, helping us avoid the long queues at internet-famous places, and the food was genuinely delicious. The room was clean and tidy, allowing us to relax and rest after a day of sightseeing and eating. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation and was impeccably cleaned. The air conditioning worked very well, making our summer stay comfortable. We often stayed out late, and the hotel's 24-hour front desk made us feel very secure coming and going. After checking out, we were able to store our luggage, allowing us to continue exploring and eating for the rest of the day without any hassle. The hotel's overall environment is quiet, and the service is thoughtful and attentive. Location, cleanliness, and service are all top-notch. "Traveling to Nanjing, one of China's 'Four Furnaces,' with my bestie, I carefully selected this hotel. It topped Ctrip's 'Stylish Hotels,' 'Design-Focused Hotels,' and 'Luxury Hotels' lists, and the reviews were great. Upon arrival, the staff helped with our luggage, thoughtfully asked about our room preferences, and even escorted us to our room, turning on the AC and reminding us to close the screens. The hotel has lush greenery, and since it's spread across three buildings, the staff kindly offered complimentary laundry service, including washing, drying, and delivery back to the room, so we wouldn't have to brave the heat. For food deliveries, the front desk staff would personally bring them to our room, saving us the trip. The attention to detail was truly impressive.
On the day we stayed, the hotel also hosted various activities: an intangible cultural heritage exhibition, robot dancing, folk music performances, parent-child basketball and soccer games, and a small scenic swimming pool. They had it all, from intangible cultural heritage lacquer fans and sugar paintings to sachets – the experience was absolutely fantastic! I've stayed in hotels in many cities, but this is the first time I've encountered such a rich and diverse offering within a hotel. You really don't need to leave! Discovering the voco Nanjing Xuanwu Lake made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!"

The Pan family, originally from Jiangxi, had been engaged in porcelain business in Suzhou and constructed this two-entrance, two-story building in the mid-Qing Dynasty. Before liberation, the descendants of the Pan family left mainland China, and the building was subsequently nationalized. Pan House faces west with two main routes and four courtyards, featuring a garden at the back. The overall decor is minimalist and upscale, and the entire place feels brand new and airy, with excellent ventilation—no hint of that new-construction smell. They clearly pay attention to the little things, like individually wrapped bathrobes, plenty of bottled water, and custom tea bags.

"As a foreign traveler, the last thing you want when facing issues in an unfamiliar city is miscommunication or being brushed off. But every single staff member here made me feel so welcome. Whenever we needed help, they were incredibly patient, meticulously assisting us step by step. What touched me most was when I accidentally twisted my ankle; the front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful, helping me book a high-speed train ticket and arrange traveler services. ChuntianrannaifenBooked this place for a business trip to Nanjing and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, with a large bay window offering excellent natural light. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the shredded radish pancake was absolutely delicious! The lounge on the first floor was also very convenient for business meetings. My foreign colleague traveling with me also spoke highly of it. If I return to Nanjing, I would certainly choose to stay here again.

This guesthouse is nestled in a bustling commercial street, yet offers a unique sense of tranquility. The second floor is a pleasant surprise, situated right in the heart of the Pingjiang Road core business district. It allows guests to easily enjoy the fun of exploring, shopping, and taking photos nearby, while also being able to retreat to peace and quiet at any time. Choosing to stay here was definitely a wise decision. The guesthouse staff provided meticulous and thoughtful service, arranging the best possible room type for us. The hygiene was good, and all the soft and hardware facilities were well-equipped.

Great location,easy to get around
it’s walking distance to the best food street ,all well known Nanjing cuisine can be found here
Walking distance to wudingmen metro station to and from Nanjing station ,just few steps away we can position ourselves for didi /taxi
The hotel is located in the area maintaining Traditional Chinese architecture , decoration and greenery ,great for photography
we got the room with a beautiful backyard full of plants and blossoms of flowers and a tray of welcome tea after checked in, the bed and pillows are comfortable ,showers is nice and warm
Light Chinese breakfast served is good enough to start a day and not too much for the delicious Nanjing lunch later on:-)
The girls at front desk are very friendly and sweet they were always ready to help
The owners I guess who were on night shift were polite and respectful
Overall we had a great time here thank you

Anonymous UserThe hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it's conveniently located if you're planning to visit the nearby mountains or Taihu Lake. Right next to the hotel is a shopping mall with a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea house), making dining and shopping very convenient. Although this is a Marriott extended-stay brand, we discovered it's a hidden gem for families with kids. During the May Day holiday, they had daily kids' activities. On our check-in day, we participated in a kite-painting activity at the lobby bar, and after painting, we flew the kites on the lawn in front of the hotel. My child had an absolute blast!
We were assigned the smallest suite and received complimentary welcome desserts. The front desk staff, noticing we had a child, proactively sent kids' toiletries to our room, which felt like a very thoughtful touch. The room is equipped with a refrigerator and microwave, perfectly meeting the needs of an extended stay.

Bring your family to Yangzhou to participate in the marathon, and experience the beauty of Yangzhou in March of fireworks! When booking a room, I thought about getting closer to the starting point and finding this hotel. The unexpected stay experience made us feel what it is to be at home! The staff's service is warm and thoughtful, and the fruit and competition refueling package are specially presented! The hotel is fully equipped and the rooms are elegantly decorated. Because the marathon starts early, the hotel also serves breakfast in advance, and the breakfast category is quite rich! The hotel even provided a shuttle bus to send us to the starting point! After running back, I ate directly at the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. Huaiyang specialties were very delicious! Thank you very much for the thoughtful service of the hotel staff to let me go smoothly in Yangma PB! Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will choose Mingfa Hotel!

HahahahahahahaThis private onsen hotel offers an amazing experience! The room provides excellent privacy, and the outdoor bath water is crystal clear. Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the night sky was incredibly relaxing. The courtyard is beautifully designed with a Zen aesthetic, the service is attentive, and the location is convenient, within walking distance to attractions. It's great value for money and highly recommended for anyone looking to escape the city!

My stay here was absolutely fantastic, definitely a five-star experience. Check-in at the front desk was super efficient, and the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, even giving us helpful tips about local traffic. Downstairs, there are numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The room was nice, clean, and well-equipped. The mattress had just the right firmness, and I appreciated trying out the memory foam pillow, which was quite comfortable. The only downsides were that the air conditioning was a bit noisy, the soundproofing of the room was average, and the swing-out bathroom door sagged a bit, making it difficult to close. Overall, it's a decent hotel, and considering its location, facilities, and price, it offers good value for money!

Guest UserThe room was great, a loft with a bathroom on each level, which is something very few hotels offer. The bed was super comfortable and it was pretty quiet, especially after the crowds from Fuzi Temple dispersed. The hotel's location is excellent, especially during peak summer season. You can easily pop back to the hotel for a rest when you're tired from exploring and then head out again – it's incredibly convenient. The staff were also exceptionally nice, very enthusiastic and always willing to help. Highly recommended! 👍
