"I booked this hotel for a badminton tournament at the Nantong Sports Exhibition Center. The lovely lady at the front desk upgraded me to a river view room, and watching the sunset from the 46th floor was absolutely delightful. The hotel is located in a complex with several other hotels. The room was spacious, the air conditioning worked great, and the shower had excellent water pressure, which was very comfortable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Nantong. Just a small suggestion for the front desk: it would be helpful to have a notice about the parking fees, so guests don't have to ask at reception."

"This hotel is absolutely perfect! I found it on Ctrip looking for a quality stay, and it lived up to its description. The laundry room is excellent, especially the super comfortable sofa and chairs, and there are even books to read. The room's window overlooks a scenic spot, so you wake up to views of ancient buildings. The hotel fridge is also great, with lots of complimentary drinks. "Overall, the hotel's facilities and decor are excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities lived up to its five-star rating. On the hardware front, my stay was very satisfactory. However, there was a significant drop-off in service details. Multiple times when returning to the hotel at night, I had to call the front desk to open the main entrance, which has happened over ten times. Having to actively call for entry late at night was a very inconvenient experience. Additionally, the laundry service was not up to par; guests had to personally go downstairs to drop off and pick up their clothes, instead of having staff collect and deliver from the room. This lack of convenient service is not what one would expect from a five-star hotel. While the hardware is impeccable, the service procedures and attentiveness clearly have shortcomings. Many tasks that the hotel should handle were shifted to guests. I hope they can optimize their access control management and in-room services to better match the hotel's caliber."

"Our two-day, two-night trip to Nantong has come to an end! It was a perfect weekend getaway for our family of three, and the Hampton by Hilton played a big part in that – it's truly a commendable place to stay! We booked a family room, and the king-size bed and single bed layout was perfect for us. Most importantly, the breakfast was excellent! Our child was particularly fond of the tofu pudding, so they eagerly went down for breakfast again the next day! It's very thoughtful that weekend breakfast is served until 10:30 AM, especially for late sleepers like us. There's a laundry room with a dryer, and a car park with charging facilities. It's conveniently located right off a wide main road and elevated highway. We had considered choosing between Hampton by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn, and after passing by the Garden Inn yesterday, I feel Hampton by Hilton is still superior! Oh, and regarding service, it would have been even better if the front desk staff were a bit more proactive in greeting guests, rather than waiting for guests to approach the counter before looking up. That's one minor area for improvement!"

The ZHUOJIAN·Si Jitang boutique homestay, known as Pan House, was built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The Pan family, originally from Jiangxi, had been engaged in porcelain business in Suzhou and constructed this two-entrance, two-story building in the mid-Qing Dynasty. Before liberation, the descendants of the Pan family left mainland China, and the building was subsequently nationalized. Pan House faces west with two main routes and four courtyards, featuring a garden at the back. The second courtyard on the north route houses a grand hall that is 11.2 meters wide and 13.6 meters deep, with intricate carvings of theatrical scenes on its beams. A horizontal plaque inscribed 'Si Jitang' from the second year of the Xuantong era (1910) hangs above. The front has two side rooms, while the third courtyard features a flower basket hall with fine carvings, and the garden still contains a square pavilion and a boxthorn tree. Located within the Pingjiang Road-Zhuozheng Garden Historical and Cultural Conservation Area, it is adjacent to world heritage sites such as the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Lion Grove Garden, as well as the National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit, the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom's Zhongwang Mansion. Currently, it is a controlled protection building in Suzhou City. The ZHUOJIAN·Si Jitang boutique homestay and the Suzhou Amber Art Museum are situated here. Si Jitang, a century-old residence, is like a hidden gem buried deep in time. "Finally getting around to reviewing this, over a month later! Wow, I absolutely loved this hotel. It was my first time staying at a Vienna Hotel, and the experience was fantastic – super spacious! The bathroom was huge too! It's just a few hundred meters straight from Suzhou Station, and you can even see the station from the window. The decor is completely different from typical chain hotels; it has a millennium-era wooden style that felt like stepping back into my childhood. Even though it's older, it's incredibly clean. I seriously loved it so much I didn't even want to leave; the bathroom itself was perfect for photos!"

The service was excellent, and I had a fantastic stay! The hotel environment was clean and tidy, and the room was spacious and bright. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was highly efficient. The location is also very convenient. Overall, everything was impeccable. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip, highly recommended!

Guest UserI highly recommend this hotel ❤️. It's right on the main street of Pingjiang Road, by the canal. It's not one of those tiny guesthouses; it seems to have nearly twenty rooms, and the decor and facilities are excellent. Most rooms are on the second floor, and downstairs, you're right amidst all sorts of food and shops, which is incredibly convenient. During the day, Pingjiang Road is bustling with people, but the windows have two layers, providing good sound insulation. By about 10:30 PM, the streets quiet down, so you can go downstairs and stroll around leisurely. At night, the streets are mostly empty, making the rooms very quiet. The rooms are clean, tidy, and quite spacious. The staff are also very warm and attentive. The parking lot is right across the street, just over a small bridge. It's also very close to nearby attractions from the hotel.

Great location,easy to get around
it’s walking distance to the best food street ,all well known Nanjing cuisine can be found here
Walking distance to wudingmen metro station to and from Nanjing station ,just few steps away we can position ourselves for didi /taxi
The hotel is located in the area maintaining Traditional Chinese architecture , decoration and greenery ,great for photography
we got the room with a beautiful backyard full of plants and blossoms of flowers and a tray of welcome tea after checked in, the bed and pillows are comfortable ,showers is nice and warm
Light Chinese breakfast served is good enough to start a day and not too much for the delicious Nanjing lunch later on:-)
The girls at front desk are very friendly and sweet they were always ready to help
The owners I guess who were on night shift were polite and respectful
Overall we had a great time here thank you

Bring your family to Yangzhou to participate in the marathon, and experience the beauty of Yangzhou in March of fireworks! When booking a room, I thought about getting closer to the starting point and finding this hotel. The unexpected stay experience made us feel what it is to be at home! The staff's service is warm and thoughtful, and the fruit and competition refueling package are specially presented! The hotel is fully equipped and the rooms are elegantly decorated. Because the marathon starts early, the hotel also serves breakfast in advance, and the breakfast category is quite rich! The hotel even provided a shuttle bus to send us to the starting point! After running back, I ate directly at the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. Huaiyang specialties were very delicious! Thank you very much for the thoughtful service of the hotel staff to let me go smoothly in Yangma PB! Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will choose Mingfa Hotel!

Guest UserMy stay at the Qiyupai Air Courtyard Resort Hotel during my trip to Suzhou was absolutely fantastic! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to Shantang Street, and the subway is also very convenient. It's truly a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. The high-altitude courtyard design is incredibly atmospheric, with a blend of Suzhou-style Zen and a dry landscape garden. Watching the sunset over the ancient city from the terrace in the evening, as the lights begin to glow, was incredibly soothing and therapeutic. The room came with its own private, constantly-heated hot spring bath, offering excellent privacy. Soaking in the hot spring while enjoying the evening breeze completely washed away all my travel fatigue. The attention to detail was exceptional – a giant projection screen and smart bathroom facilities were all available, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly. Breakfast was a semi-buffet featuring authentic Suzhou specialties, with freshly made pastries that tasted great. The serving hours were also very accommodating. The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive, and they even provided helpful tips for exploring the local area upon check-in. Overall, the hotel is clean and elegant, perfect for both couples on a romantic getaway or friends traveling together. Staying here in Suzhou is a sure bet, and I'll definitely choose it again next time!

We even got a complimentary upgrade during the off-season. The front desk staff were all very enthusiastic. Anonymous UserOur 3 night stay at this hotel was so wonderful. The decor of the hotel was so elegant and pretty, the designer has a very good sense of aesthetics. The rooms were enormous and so tastefully decorated. The bathroom was clean and spacious.
The reception staff at this hotel were 5 stars! Amazing. They were so friendly and helpful without being overwhelming, any requests were acted on promptly, i.e. asking for an extra towel, etc. Although there was a small language barrier, the front desk staff were so attentive and intuitive, our needs were perfectly met and communication was not a problem at all.They made us feel at perfectly comfortable and well looked after. We opted for the breakfast and this was plentiful and delicious. The English Breakfast option had some perfectly cooked bacon and scrambled eggs, really expertly made. I was very impressed. We also tried the Chinese Breakfasts which was noodles and wontons. Again, very delicious.
The location of the hotel was fantastic. Almost directly opposite the Confucius temple market. All in all, our stay at the Nanjing Guildford Hotel was exemplary. I wholeheartedly recommended staying at this hotel if you visit Nanjing.
