"It’s a beautiful hotel. Room is nice and comfy. Location is perfect. However, service is terrible. Like a 3-star hotel. When we arrived, there was no doorman at the door to help with luggages. After a 24-hour door to door travel, we had to carry our luggages up and still no one offered help. Housekeeping was not a 5-star ranking standard. Bedsheets were not changed even on the 5th night I stayed. From day 2, we have to call front desk to replenish water everyday. If u don’t call, no water is replenish. A request of a kettle took 30 mins. We ordered a few packages from Amazon and Target, took them two whole days to check where are the packages. Called front desk 3 times, went down to talk face to face with front desk 2 times. Finally they found it and brought it to the room."

Our luxury hotel Mandarin Oriental-Boston adds a fine facade to undoubtedly the most desirable addresses in Boston

"I will stay here again. The location is excellent and it is convenient for shopping and dining. The room cleaning, extra bed and turndown service are very good and the attitude is good. The front desk service is good and free coffee is provided in the lobby. The only drawback is that the takeaway I ordered this time was not delivered to the room. I hope to have a better experience in the future."

Historic elegance meets modern luxury at the InterContinental Boston. Our downtown Boston waterfront hotel is one of the city's most celebrated hotels in a truly iconic location on the Boston Harbor. Our beautifully redesigned rooms showcase the Boston cityscape with floor to ceiling windows. "The InterContinental Boston has a great location; it's within easy walking distance of Chinatown, the Financial District, and Boston's South Station. The receptionist, Lily, was very friendly. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it had most of the essential American breakfast items. The problem was that when you needed to call for water, toiletries, bathrobes, etc., they couldn't provide slippers due to insufficient stock."

"The whole place is old, hair stuck to the wall in the bathroom, not cleaned at all. I told the front desk about valet parking but it was no use, until I got impatient and called again, no one responded. I called for car and luggage service at 11:15, and called again at 11:30, and someone came up to pick up the luggage, and then the luggage service notified me to pick up the car, and I left the hotel at 11:45... I think the Ritz brand is basically finished."

"It’s an old property and my assumption is that there are two wings and we were sent to old wing. Only one of the three elevators worked during 3 nights when we stayed there and there was no one trying to fix the elevators as well. Even the elevator which was working was not in a good condition. The staff was so so, not something which I would expect from Fairmont. Having stayed in Fairmont few times before, this was the worse experience of all times"

"Very nice hotel, the guy at the front desk is from Shanghai, very professional and handsome. He took the initiative to help order lunch. The afternoon tea on the first floor is very good. I made an appointment with friends to have afternoon tea together. It feels similar to the Peninsula Shanghai. I didn't read the menu carefully and ordered an ice cream. Ahaha, in the end, the whole afternoon tea was not charged. I'm really sorry."

"I decided to come to Boston for three days on short notice. I didn't want to rent a car, so I had to consider a hotel with a very good location. I considered Langham, Mandarin Oriental, and the Hilton at the airport entrance. I finally chose Langham because Mandarin Oriental was full. Service: I arrived at the hotel at 10 pm, the waiter took my luggage, and the check-in was smooth. The front desk was very friendly. Hygiene: It was clean and hygienic like a five-star hotel, and the restaurant was also very clean. Environment: The location is in the commercial district, there will be many people on business trips, and there will be many people in and out of the hotel during the day. Facilities: The gym and swimming pool are both indoors, with windows, and very bright. I had breakfast at Grana in the hotel on the first morning, and the quality was very good. The hotel's drinks were also amazing, but the dinner and room service later were much worse. It is probably because the hotel was unusually busy this week and the kitchen was overwhelmed. I told the front desk about my dissatisfaction when I left the hotel, and they handled the problem very actively."

Opposite Boston Park. Close to Chinatown. The hotel is low-key, but low-key luxury. The snack room on each floor is super considerate, but there is no kettle, so you can't make tea. You can buy some hot tea in the coffee shop in the lobby, but there is a time limit and the room is relatively small. It is also expensive in this season
