Graceland resort is a beautiful resort and located in a good area close to Patong beach and shopping streets. This is my third time staying in this hotel and definitely wont be the last because i love everything about this Resort. To start with i appreciate their exceptional customer service from the reception, concierge, the baggage team, the cleaners they are all amazing. The team is always willing to listen when you have any concerns and they will do anything to ensure they help or sort any issues you may have. My experience is always great with daily cleaning service n big thank you to Farsai(supa)who made sure our room was clean on daily basis last week and this week. Since we are a Club Mahindra member, so we chose this hotel in Phuket. Went with my wife and my daughter (18 Yrs). The property over all is very good and away from the busy areas. Some of the precise observations listed below. Hope this helps in making the decision Pros: 1. Smooth Check-in 2. Very clean and tidy property 3. Spacious Room (1 Bedroom Suite) 4. Comfortable bed & pillows 5. Couple of Indian restaurants just outside the hotel 6. Good Indian food 7. Very nice pool 8. Helpful staff Cons: 1. No 7/11 around. The nearest is about a km and a half and the taxi will charge 40 bahts too and fro. So, plan your purchases accordingly when you go there. 2. Little inside the main road. Difficult to walk the beach seems very far away due to the heat as there's no private beach. 3. Not much to do in the area where it's located. Patong beach is 20 minutes away which isn't much but commuting will cost some money 4. Electricity sockets are in a bad condition and not at the right places. Please check the sockets of the room before you are allocated the room 5. No kitchnette inside the room Special mention: 1. Harish Bahuguna, the Indian chef cooks a great food. He cooked a very nice fish masala and lentil (Dal) for us. It was precisely as per the instructions 2. Vacilli at the travel desk. Very helpful and cooperative. One has to negotiate but I definitely give full marks to his sales skills Overall, if you like a quite area then go for this. I am rating it very good due to the pros that I have mentioned above.

Wow didn’t expect to really like this resort since it was so affordable! We were a group of 3 and got a family room - it was spacious, clean, and comfortable! Breakfast spread every morning was so good and lots of variety. Service was good overall but could be better at the pool. They have mini golf and archery at the sandy beach area which was so fun! Plus the gym is huge!!! Highly recommend this resort. Location is the only thing, great sea views is why we picked it but an hour from airport and old town, just close to patong. 🔥🔥🔥

The room is big and the bedroom is separated from the living area. The hotel is located on a hill but getting to your rooms is easier as there are internal shuttle service that will take you from the main reception area to the designated block. And conversely, if you want to get to the restaurant for breakfast, you can call the reception and they will sent a vehicle to your block to take you down. There is also a scheduled shuttle service that will take you to Patong, namely the beach and Jungceylon mall. You could walk to the beach and the mall though and it would take you about 20-25mins.

Probably the best stay we had across Asia. The hotel was very quiet, rooms are spacious and clean. very friendly and helpful staff not annoying and they understood English ” that was important as we had stayed at more luxurious hotels where room service couldn't comprehend us” Food was more than great we were planning to eat outside hotel but honestly, once we tried eating at the hotel we got hooked up. we enjoyed the happy hour. we even spent few time in the library where we also found they have few games like jenga.. everall best stay and I was looking forward to book for another vacation but seems its temporarily close so will be waiting for reopening soon. One little note as its a beach and natural trees so expect mosquitos and similar bugs but that's normal given the location right on the water & greens so cannot complain
Andaman White Beach Resort

Nai Ton Beach
It may be in need of renovation here and there, and some of its facilities may not be operational, but it’s very cozy, clean and beautiful with amazing beach and an epic cat that hangs around the reception and seems to be helping everyone with all its might. The rooms are very spacious, even bathrooms. The breakfast is simple, but you have everything you need: fried eggs, omelette, sausages, bacon, rice, noodles, fruits and juices. The restaurant itself overlooks the pool and the sea, which is breathtaking most of the time. Lunch in the hotel is rather good, but overpriced as expected, so most of the time you will eat on Nai Thon Beach which is only 15 minutes away by feet. There are at least 2-3 decent restaurants there - I’d personally recommend “95 Restaurant”. The pool here is not very deep, but quite lengthy, although I doubt you will spend much time in it with the seaside right next to it. This is by far the biggest advantage of the hotel - the private beach with cliffs on both ends. Compared to most Thai hotels it’s a very rare thing. It’s huge, clean, with lots of free space to move your beach beds anyway you want and with beautiful crystal clear sea. It’s not very still, but waves add lots of fun to it. Wi-Fi is strange and very frustrating: it was mostly absent in our room, appearing for mere seconds just to be gone the moment you try to use it, but very stable by the pool and even by the sea. I suppose it should be the other way round, oh well. There’s a mandatory deposit on check-in of 200 USD or 13000THB, which is a lot and quite an inconvenience, if cash is the only thing you have on you. I wish I knew about that beforehand, so I could take extra. The staff is very nice and attentive, always smiling and trying to help. I would definitely love to come back here.

This hotel is the absolute best for kids. There is a kids club, and also a kids pool with slides, water guns and free floats and balls provided. Every morning at breakfast there will be a costume mascot that will greet the kids. We had a lobster, dolphin and crab appear during our stay. Staff were also wonderful and helpful. Having a shuttle is a nice touch considering the steep uphill climb back to the hotel. I appreciate the sustainability efforts the hotel has put in. But my battle with the toothpaste was not ideal. I could not tear open the toothpaste packaging. The bed we had was super king size. Truly remarkable. My wife is a light sleeper so it made our trip even more pleasant. Overall I would say Massimo Bernardi the GM has done a good job with the place. From the activities, to staff attentiveness and even the maintenance of the place. There were even yoga sessions in the morning for those who are into it. And finally would like to thank for the cake in the fridge. It was a very nice surprise.

We typically do not complain unless it’s really warranted but this is one of those times. My wife and I stayed at the Wyndham in Playa de Carmen Mexico early this year. After a delayed flight and a long travel day, we finally arrived at 11:30 PM only to be told upon check in that our hotel room has no running water. No other room was offered to us and when we asked we were told that we cannot change rooms!! Needless to say this was unacceptable on so many levels! A year later we decided to put that experience behind us and give the Wyndham another chance so we booked into the Proud Karen beach Wyndham in Phuket Thailand. We chose this hotel over another one because their site said the hotel had a roof top pool and a fitness room. I recently injured myself so a gym is very important for my ongoing rehab. However, once we checked in, were informed by the staff that there was no fitness room nor a roof top pool as both were still under construction. I was feeling frustrated as I specifically choose this hotel for the fitness room and felt that they had misrepresented their amenities on the site. Furthermore, It appeared the hotel was still under renovation as you have to navigate yourself through an old car parkade (see video) and long steep drive way to get to the front desk and only one elevator is operational in each building. We were willing to turn a blind eye to these shortcomings but I needed a fitness room so after 2 days we ask to check out early and get a refund only on the last 2 days. When I called (from room) the manager at the front desk about my request and reason why the call was disconnected so I went to the front counter and when the manager saw me he called the sales agent who informed him to tell me that our room was nonrefundable. At this point I asked to talk to the sales agent on the phone as they appeared to have the authority to grant refunds. As I began to explain to her why I wanted to check out early she rudely cut me off and would not let me finish explaining. I asked her to let me finish speaking and again she cut me off and said that I have to go through my booking agent. The booking agent had already emailed the hotel twice with no reply. We were then told the office was closed so we would have to wait until Monday which was our check out date so that would be too late. An hour later our booking agent mysteriously got a hold off the “closed office” (the sales lady who I had talked to) and he said that she denied our request despite our complaint. There was nothing he could do. I email Wyndham’s head office regarding the matter but had no reply ! This company misrepresents itself and takes no accountability should an issue occur ! Stay clear!!!
