5-Star Hotels in Chon Buri Province, Thailand

this is a strange experience. during check-in , i was informed of a free upgrade. there's a welcoming cake for my husband, however, the whole room with the bath tub next to the bed, plus transparent glass wall for the stand up bathing area and toilet is very strange. we cannot open the room door for room service if anyone is inside the bath tub, bathing area or even in the toilet. no couple would like to see each other when during toilet time, right. also , i have requested for two bottles of water at 10:30 p.m., called for customer services for twice to hurry the bottle as the kid is about to go asleep. and then no response.. and then the two bottles arrived at midnight 00:30, two hours later. first they rang the bell, then called upon the room to say ”open the door”. it seems there's no proper management of the hotel. the location and hardwares are so great, its just a waste if the management is not doing great. during check in is also an experience. the manager sounds a bit strange. .and it seems the information is not clear enough. i have my first night staying here and then the next night i moved to space hotel. its just a total big difference and comparison between the two. its the information wise, helpfulness an d professionalism that makes a big difference between the two hotels. its need for better staff training for standard procedures and catering all sorts of different situations. e.g. when they bring the welcoming cake, there's someone behind following with other stuff, but thats not for our room. it will cause confusion. also they rang another time bell.. also another staff with other food queuing behind.. but just for the fork and knife.. you just felel the hotel is so new that the people there are not well trained.

If you get ocean view it’s absolutely incredible, but you also can’t be disappointed with the city side especially if you’re on a high floor (you can see all the city lights). The room was small but perfect, I had a large patio/a bath/AC/sink/fridge: you don’t need much else as a solo traveller. Ladies and gentlemen I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Also don’t forget the check the incredible pool are and the DIB rooftop bar!

A great equipped hotel for family with children. My kids have enjoyed the long water slides, the wave pool, kids water play area, kids playroom, gaming room. Amazing and delicious breakfast and buffet dinner selection, also catering kids menu as well! Helpful staff, clean rooms, it’s highly recommended and we will come back again!

Honestly, it would be better if they could walk guests to the lift, as the hotel's layout can easily mislead guests and cause them to go the wrong way. Once we checked into the room, we found hair on the floor, which was clearly not ours. The beach bag was not set up in our room, and we had to call to request it, even though my friend's room was properly prepared when they entered. The second day, housekeeper took away the bathrobe and did not replace it. When we called to ask for a replacement, we were questioned about how many people were staying in the room, which felt unnecessary. It would be great if management could look into these issues and make improvements. Overall, however, we still enjoyed our stay.

Whether you’re visiting for business, pleasure, or both, Mandarin Eastville guarantees a memorable stay in Pattaya. The tranquil semi-remote location provides a pleasant escape from the busy areas of Pattaya. There is no public transportation available, but I learned that using Bolt and Grab is quite affordable. Additionally, motor taxis can be flagged down along the main road; just remember to negotiate the fare before hopping in. However, there were a couple of downsides: although the tap water gets extremely hot, regulating the hot shower proved to be a challenge. I didn’t let this bother me too much, as the water was still comfortably warm. I also had some trouble opening the balcony door, which nearly caused me to miss the fireworks countdown. However, the service at this hotel is drastically different from what it was before and has unfortunately become quite poor. Upon checking in, I was instructed to download their app to request ongoing services. After checking in, I purchased credits (referred to as Free Money / Bath Bonanza) through the app, but I still had to go down to the check-in counter to complete the payment before placing an order for in-room dining, which felt ridiculous. Why didn’t they reintroduce the credit program at the check-in counter like before? Regarding the spa, the app listed some discounted packages. When I called the spa to confirm whether I could book a Thai massage for THB 1400 without using my credits (the original price would be charged if I applied credits), they assured me that I could. When I asked if I should book through the app next, they told me they could make the booking over the phone right then. However, after my treatment, my husband was charged THB 1800 instead of THB 1400 and was informed that the discounted rate was only available through the app. Additionally, many staff members seem to have limited English proficiency, which complicated communication. It was not like this before! I booked a spa appointment for the next day at 10 AM and was told to arrive early. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment but couldn't find any staff there, and the reception didn’t open until 10 AM! After the spa, I was led to the outdoor resting area, but there was construction on a wooden bridge nearby, with hammering sounds and a burning smell! We were also disappointed with the breakfast options. There were no noodles in hot soup or traditional Thai dishes, which felt quite lackluster. The in-room dining also disappointed us. The Pad Thai I ordered was terribly salty! After the meal, the staff came to collect the dishes but left the table messy without wiping it down. On Christmas Eve, we had dinner at The Coast. It was advertised as a Christmas dinner with a live band, but it turned out to be a guitar and violin duo playing a few Chinese songs. I felt like it was a mid-autumn festival instead. My child and I arrived at the restaurant first, and I asked the staff to hold our dishes as we wanted to wait for my husband. They agreed but then served my child and me the salad starter immediately! Once my husband arrived, we had to chase them three times to serve him the starter. Additionally, I had to ask twice for a drink menu! To top it off, we were charged THB 1900 each for a main course that included only one slice of beef Wellington! We spent a total of THB 5900 for the three of us and ended up with a watery mango milkshake! Overall, it seems that the renovation did not extend to service quality, and the changes haveu significantly detracted from my experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel. Although the hotel might look old but the facilities and service provided is beyond par. We were able to order vegetarian food for breakfast. The room we stayed in was quite spacious and had a nice view of jomtien beach.

The hotel is the best in pattaya with three swimming pool and has own beach access! They provide good breakfast. Has fitness and table tennis. Very recommended

The hotel is very new. There is not much around in terms of location. It is very quiet when I go back at night. There are no people, only a lot of dogs. There are no slippers or bathrobes in the hotel. Although the sky pool is small, the view is good and the pool is comfortable.

We picked this hotel because it looked super beautiful and aesthetic, however we were slightly disappointed in person. First off, the room was modern, chic and stylish, however I can’t help feeling that the room utilization made it feel a little smaller than it is. The toilet and bathroom are partitioned, which is great, but there are no towel hangers in the shower, only in the toilet, which makes it kind of weird as you’ll have to make the floor wet just to retrieve a towel after showering. The room is also not spotless clean, as in we had to use the hotel slippers to walk around, otherwise we kept getting specks and dust stuck to our feet walking inside the room. The outdoor bathtub was huge and deep, which we enjoyed. Maybe an improvement could be having an anti-slip mat as it was slippery in the tub. Otherwise, the room was great, albeit feeling a little small. The breakfast was superb. Each person can have up to 3 choices from an a-la-carte menu, which was the highlight of the meal — super delicious. There is also a buffet with limited extra options to supplement your main courses/desserts made to order. The rooftop pools do give a pretty decent view however it was a little small and overcrowded. Overall I’d give it 4/5.

Except the checking staff had given a good tour of the room facilities at check in, service was an overpriced Hyatt hotel.  No one came to my room to clean up when there was no one inside from 9:15am to 4pm and their staff finally came at around 5pm on 25 Dec.  Their Christmas Eve Buffett was super overpriced at Pattaya standard (THB 4000 each adult with no drink included) and the Buffett had little selections, just give you basic 4 star Hyatt hotel selection elsewhere given the price charged.  And no one remember to send the electronic invoice after checked out.  Overall not a Hyatt franchise hotel you will repeat, plenty of other choices for the price.  Also did not see any staff at gate all the way to my room when I get off Grab ride at 11pm on 26 Dec.

The hotel is situated at the outskirt of Pattaya by the sea, perfect for those looking for a getaway from the bustling city. The infinity pool is spectacular with great seaview. Breakfast is also fantastic, with loads of variety. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

We booked 2 bedrooms pool villa and ask for adjoined building which was great for us to have bigger common space on the ground floor. The rooms was spacious modern and well-appointed with kitchenette ( capsule coffee machine, microwave, sink, big friege with a pack of ice). Our room cames with 1 living room with kitchenette,small pool and 1 restroom on the ground fl. The upper floor with 1 king size bed and 1 twin ( 2 single beds). Bed was comfy. Hotel is not big but compact which offers range of facilities, including pool on the roof,spa, fitnees, restaurant and pool bar of the main lobby bulding. Beach is only accessible by hotel baggy service. Would recommend to stay in the hotel. Not really worst to go there. Staffs were really incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my stay. Breakfast offers made to order for the main dish. Also, good selection of line buffet on side too.

Location: 7/10 The hotel is about a 30-minute drive to the Pattaya walking street / Pattaya Central World. It is not recommended to stay here if you are looking for fun in the centre of Pattaya. Service: 8/10 The front desk staff is very helpful with a smile. The staff in the restaurant may need some more training during the breakfast time or they may be understaffed. The maintenance team responded very quickly when the TV could not connect to the internet, and they arrived within 10 minutes of the call. Room: 9.5/10 The room size is quite spacious and looks new. One very important thing is that the view is absolutely stunning. Very good and clean room. It is a new hotel so the room is very neat and clean. They are also have some fruit for us as the reception. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. They have a car to transfer us to the beach and pick up us as service. I really love to spend my weekend with my families there. They have such a beautiful views of the yacht club and the breakfast is also good. I hope to be back there again someday.

The location of check-in in the lobby is a little cramped, probably the staff are busy, the service is a little short, the afternoon tea is rich in flavor, but the playability of the resort is not high, the privacy will be poor, the swimming pool and the rooms are very beautiful, but the air conditioning in the bedrooms is too cold 🥶 and a little noisy, in general, it's not. bad,beautiful hotel.
