A very special appreciation goes to the reception team, especially Alon and Shreesha. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, always greeting me with genuine warmth and taking care of any requests promptly and thoughtfully. Their kindness and attention to detail really made my experience stand out. The hospitality here is exceptional, and it’s clear the team genuinely cares about their guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again."

"★★★★★ I recently stayed at Hotel Barahi Kathmandu for 2 nights and 3 days during my trip to Nepal. To start with the conclusion, this is a hotel I would gladly stay at again. When I evaluate a hotel, I don't judge it solely on luxury or facilities. What matters most to me is how the people working at the hotel interact with their guests. Hotel Barahi Kathmandu was a very impressive hotel in that regard. From check-in to check-out, every staff member – at the front desk, in the restaurant, and from housekeeping – greeted me with natural smiles. It didn't feel like formal customer service because I was a 'guest,' but rather as if they were treating me as an individual. The hotel's location is also excellent. While it's within walking distance to the Thamel area, upon returning to the hotel, you find a calm space where you can forget the hustle and bustle of the city. It's a very convenient hotel for both sightseeing and staying. I also enjoyed breakfast every day. Beyond the variety of dishes, Nepali cuisine was also offered, which was great for a traveler like me to easily enjoy local flavors. On the other hand, there was noise in my room at night, and there was one day when I couldn't get enough rest. This was disappointing. However, what impressed me even more was the hotel staff's response afterward. They listened carefully to my concerns and addressed each issue without downplaying it. Their attitude conveyed a strong desire to 'improve the guest's stay.' During my travels, I pay close attention not only to the hotel's facilities but also to the people working there. No matter how grand the building, if the people aren't good, I wouldn't want to stay at that hotel again. Hotel Barahi Kathmandu was a hotel where I felt human warmth. Of course, there are always areas for improvement. But this hotel has an attitude of being willing to address those areas. That was of great value to me. That's why if I have the opportunity to visit Nepal again, I would choose this hotel once more. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to all the front desk staff, restaurant staff, and housekeeping who kindly assisted me during my stay. "The rooms are this hotel are very nice. The location is perfect. The service levels are very high. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. In particular, Monika and Besang in the restaurant, Sita and Binita for the cleaning service, and all the security staff. Overall, our stay here was very good. The breakfast is very good, with a nice variety. If I could suggest some improvements, it would be fresh pastries for breakfast and maybe some alternatives to cows milk such as oat or almond milk. The other thing is, the gym needs a total refresh. I recommend staying here. It is a very good offer overall. Thank you for giving us a pleasant stay."

"This is definitely the first choice for business travelers in Kathmandu. Overall, it's very good. The only issue was that the desk in the room wasn't very functional for working. Another downside was that my flight turned back, so I missed a night, but couldn't get a refund."

"This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in Nepal! I really enjoyed so much here! Excellent food and services, facilities are new and clean, I love its design and some lovely writings in the room. I love reading the books in the ground floor restaurant during my breakfast time. All the services here are exceptional, especially during my breakfast hour, special thanks to Priyanka (who remembers my coffee preference and even brought me my coffee before I asked her❤️) and Kritan (who would greet me every time when I’m there, and keep on asking if I need anything, especially omelette😂) for their excellent service. Also thanks to Manita for making my room clean and fresh❤️ Lastly, I really appreciated the hotel’s policy of half day booking, since I have a late night flight, this policy allows me to checkout at 6pm, that save my day, I could join a half day Tour on my last day, then back to hotel for a little rest and do the packing. I really felt being taking good care of during my stay. Thank you so much Moxy Kathmandu!"

"An absolutely wonderful hotel! I highly recommend visiting. You can enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by the Himalayas. It's so quiet that you can clearly hear the calls of the animals. "I'm very particular about where I stay when I travel. I chose this hotel by chance, as it provided me with a decent stay. I like to live in comfort, I like to live in a well-kept place, I like to live where I'm welcomed and my needs are met. The hotel has the feel of an owner who treats guests, his team, and the space he's responsible for with respect. For others choosing a hotel, I'll say this: 1. The grounds are well-kept, the staff is attentive and polite. 2. In the morning, I had breakfast in the garden. The food was very well prepared. I showed a cooked egg in the photo. You can always judge the quality of the food by the eggs. 3. At first, I stayed in the main building, then moved to a tent for a couple of days. If you can afford it, rent a tent. It's worth it. All the animals I saw on safari were visible from my tent. Or from the view desk, which I used when I stayed in the main building. 4. The people at the hotel are comfortable to talk to. 5. There are many aesthetically pleasing details that characterize this place and create an atmosphere. After my stay, I wanted to write this review as a thank you, on the one hand, and on the other, to share it with you, as I also seek out and appreciate good places. The hotel is a bit far from the boat station, but for me, this was an advantage, as I like quiet, sparsely populated places. And I would have liked a couple of sun loungers in the garden so I could just relax listening to the birds singing, surrounded by greenery. "This was my third stay, and I was here for 7 days. I feel the restaurant service has declined, especially at the breakfast buffet. I noticed a slightly overweight waiter who seemed unfriendly towards Chinese guests, preferring to serve Indian guests instead. He ignored requests from Chinese diners and was overly attentive to Indian ones. The breakfast order and serving speed were slow; out of several days, I only got my ordered eggs once. Big thumbs down. The restaurant manager also seemed indifferent towards Chinese guests. I'm not sure why, especially since there were so many Chinese diners."
