The location of the hotel is strategic as it was so easy to find variety of food/convenient stores in such short distances. The elevators were fast even though there are 35 floors so we didn’t have to wait so long to enter to them.

Check-in with the front desk staff and asked if Genting Rewards points can be accumulated, staff said yes and just need to present the card upon check-out. No receipt was issued for deposit made. Upon check-out, the other staff say need to have the receipt in order to refund the deposit. We said we do not have, staff was unhappy. They also said we cannot accumulate the points on Genting Rewards card as we made the booking through Trip.com. The problem was, the staff that did our check-in also knew we booked through trip.com but still said we could accumulate the points, why tell us a different response upon check-out. They issued us with souvenir in 2 boxes, but all were empty. We returned back the boxes to them and they apologized, gave us 2 boxes to close the loop. How insincere!

Beautiful hotel and large room. All staff are friendly. Breakfast is nice but limited menu. There are few things that I would like to mention which could be improved We were not given welcome drinks and towel while we are waiting for the rooms to be ready. When our rooms are ready we saw others getting their welcome drinks and towels. First day breakfast, ordered an American classic and a highland omelette. We choose highland omelette because it does not have beef. My wife cannot eat beef due to religion. We were served 2 sets of American classic both have beef. 2nd day breakfast, I ordered Highland omelette again. This time I told the server No BEEF, he said highland omelette has no beef. Then came another American classic with beef. If they do not serve Highland omelette then it should be taken off from the menu so will not cause misunderstanding. It’s rather annoying when we just wanted an omelette and no beef. Both days came with beef. Other than the confusion at breakfast area. Everything else is perfect.

The journey to find the hotel was ok. It is in front of the Kuantan East Coast Mall. The park lot in the building has direct access to the Lobby. Check-in was fast. Although you stay for a night, you still required to pay deposit for RM200. When entering the room, the carpet smell is quite strong and makes us feel uncomfortable. But after turning on the AC, the bad smell has reduced. The room is super clean and amenities are great too. Except for the tv channel. We tried to connect it to the wifi, but the connection kept being cut off. The breakfast was great too.

Service:- I rode in from the rain > asked for early check-in > Receptionist called me a 115pm to let me know room was ready. Managed to keep my stuff with bellboy whilst I went out to find breakfast and wait for room check-in Bellboy helped bring my stuff to the room. 200RM deposit was returned to me in denominations of 50, when I had used 2 x 100RM notes > I requested for this back and receptionist had to get manager approval before returning 2 x 100RM to me. Can borrow umbrella from lobby if it's raining. Facilties: Bathtub is kids size, not adult size. no massage services. Carpark > no motorbike parking lots. Parking: I ended up parking my Ducati Diavel Carbon, FBL 747S, in basement carpark cos security guard did not let me park outside lobby. (Even though Ducati Club Singapore managed to park there in May 2024 as well as open carpark lots below) However later in the day, Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, FBG 38G, was allowed to park there. Security guard said rider is from Kings Motorcycle Club > I told security guard that Kings MC only rides harleys. Security guard then says rider is VIP, and his boss approved the parking. I questioned the receptionist > they referred me to security > I told receptionist what security said and receptionist could not do anything. The rider left the next morning; I was having breakfast at the outdoor seating, could hear him start the bike, let the bike warm up, before riding off. (so ”noise” is not a valid reason for not parking there) I came back to my motorbike to find it covered in dust and fluff, cos it was 7m away from the laundromat (I parked here cos there was another motorbike here and there are no motorbike lots in the basement carpark) The whole reason for parking somewhere visible and in line of sight of Security, is for the security of the motorycycle. (There is a notice in the basement carpark that states parking at carpark is responsibility of owner, not the premises) Breakfast: good spread and variety.

Perfect room, with a perfect view and very good hospitality. There are cafes, mini department store - like restaurants inside the hotel 🏨 Minus.. The area from this hotel is located not in a resort world area. About 3,4 km distance from Sky Avenue, you need to prepare extra cost for transportation to this hotel 🏨 but the cost of the hotel itself is cheaper. So, it's a good 🤝 deal to stay here :)

Teluk Cempedak
The hotel’s beachfront location is ideal for those who enjoy stunning sea views and direct access to the beach. While the property does show signs of aging, it is generally well-maintained and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Initially, I was assigned a room with noticeable humidity issues—likely due to the air conditioning—resulting in a persistently wet floor. However, the staff promptly addressed my concerns and arranged for a room change, for which I am very grateful. The Sampan Bar, a unique feature resembling a boat on the beach near the swimming pool (Block 2), offers a relaxing spot for guests to unwind while watching their children play in the sand. Convenience is another highlight, with a 7-Eleven, Family Mart, McDonald’s, KFC, and Starbucks just a short walk away, providing plenty of food and drink options for guests. Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and added convenience.

Location wise, the hotel is situated at the mouth of Ringlet. It is a good 30min drive to shops and eateries so unless you are prepared to brave 30min (or more on a busy day) on windy roads upwards (and another 30min back to hotel therafter), you may have to think twice. It was becos of this factor, our family of 5 decided to just spend the entire day in the hotel. Food at the restaurant in the hotel was pretty decent. A Malaysian chicken curry rice will set you back RM60, so just to let you in on the prices. The hotel is well kept and the rooms are generally clean. I booked the family room and am impressed by its size, cleanliness. Sheets are clean and room is well-made. Like the simple touches added by the hotel, eg, towels are lightly rose scented, essential oil candle lamps in the rooms. Mattress was really comfortable and the husband enjoyed a good night's rest. Our room came with breakfast the next morning. Breakfast is semi-buffet- pick a main from menu, whilst cheeses, muffins and variety of staples are free flow. A glass of freshly squeezed orange juice is complimentary - that was the best perk me up for me. We were also pleasantly surprised that the hotel washed the guests' cars. Our car was refreshed and ready for the roads again after a night at the Lakehouse. Though the hotel wasn't my first choice initially but I might just wanna return again. Thank you Lakehouse for making a day's stay a memorable and comfortable one.

We booked 2 rooms and stayed here for a night with our family. Overall was okay, the front office staffs were very nice and friendly, the checked in process is basically flawless. The F&B staff were really friendly especially those staffs at the pool area. We enjoyed our stay but the room I stayed in has no items at the mini bar, I called the room service a few times to asked for the items but they just simply sent me a few items despite I was only asking for tea bags. Also the cups was not washed at all, coffee stained was still on the cups, i have to wash it with boiling waster and i can see the water turned brown after I poured it into the cups. Another thing is We asked for an extra bed, but no extra amenities (toothbrush and others) was provided, again I need to call the to provide it. Overall the stay was okay. I think the housekeeping department really need to pay more attention to details and not to mentioned the person who picked up my call when i asked for extra amenities and tea bags was rather unfriendly.

Newly opened hotel. Room is very spacious but toilet is a little cramp. Bedding and pillows are comfortable. Amenities are alright but the best part is there’s aircond in the room and they provide bathrobes. The downside is they don’t provide you with unlimited drinking water. Only 4 small bottles were provided in the room and you may request for an additional 2 500ml bottles for free. Thereafter, it is chargeable. We got the room with Genting view and it was nice!Location of the hotel is a little off from Genting. You will need to drive about 3km of windy road from the Petron station. Definitely not recommended for those who don’t drive there. Certain areas in the carpark is also tricky to navigate especially if you drive big cars. Overall, the cost performance is pretty good. Would stay here again if I would want to escape the KL heat and want to be away from the Genting crowd.
