The overall condition is good; everything has met my expectations for a standard hotel room. However, there is one thing that I'm unsatisfied with: I booked a room for three adults, but the amenities provided are only for two people (two pairs of slippers, two toothbrushes, two towels, etc.). There's no telephone number to call the front desk, so I went down personally to inform them about the situation. The staff promised to send the missing items to our room later, but no one came at all.

My first time staying at the Westin. Quite alot of people staying there thus we wasn’t able to get an early check in. However the service provided was great . We were given a corner room and the staff even decorated the room and gave us complimentary cake and chocolate. The room itself was big and clean. Breakfast was included and was quite surprised their selections as it had variety of food. There are a few dinning places to eat and the food was not bad. Will come back again when then price is right.

Room Number: 1113 Positives: - location (opposite Komtar, walking from jb customs) - Big room - Comfortable bed - Wide variety breakfast buffet - Pretty nice views from top floor (21st floor) - usb bedside charging (both sides of the bed) - dual door wardrobe - nice sneaking toiletries Negatives - My room toured swimming pool view. Yes can see the oool but the opposite building (Suasana Suites) very near. Had to keep curtains closed throughout the stay - limited tv channels - shower water could be hotter - sink water pressure quite low - could hear people talking outside the room (corridor) - chargeable hotel parking (10rm per day and each time before exiting the hotel, need to validate the parking ticket)

Room Number: 1128, 1129 Pros: - nice sea view - comfortable bed - separate bathtub and shower area - Huge pool (feels like a resort, with slide for children so very family friendly) - decent size gym - breakfast buffet had decent variety and taste (very value for money given cost of room) - staff were friendly and proactive Cons - Room shows serious signs of ageing. Even though could see that it was refurbished, things still look like they are falling apart - not sure if it’s just my room, but tv channels come and go. Sometimes it’s working and sometimes it’s not. Limited channels as well. - pillow was way too soft - My King size bed was actually two super single beds put together. - Only bath towels provided and it was very worn. No other towels provided. - Not really baby friendly as there hotel does not have baby shower tub. Thankfully room comes with a bath tub - sound insulation pretty bad. Could hear sounds from the corridor

Brought my family to hard rock hotel desaru to stay from new year's eve to cross into the new year. First time staying here and we are very happy with the overall experience. Coffee at constant grind cafe is also good. Direct access to the waterpark was very convenient for us and the kids. One good situation that I experienced was there was a very heavy downpour during one of the evening and my car was parked at the lower ground and water level was rising. The hotel guest services manager attempted to reach me via call and whatsapp to ensure they pass me the message to shift my car to upper ground. I would compliment him. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Slightly old resort, but the room is spacious, with balcony, a small garden and swing. Direct beach access is available, and with swimming pool, kids' play room. We had a pleasant stay during CNY 2024.

A secluded resort with loads of activities to choose from. The staffs were all able to converse in English and answer all questions we had. Nice bartender which made our trip better . The room was very spacious with a fantastic view of the sun as shown in the pictures . The only downside is you can tell it’s a relatively old hotel but it still eludes a classy vibe.

Fraser place exceeded my expectations in terms of service and quality! Checking in and out was a breeze and the staff was accommodating to requests and made us felt so welcome. The only downside was the breakfast queue and spread. Nevertheless, we had a good stay for one night and will be back again soon 👍🏻

Forest City Marina Hotel is a resort hotel by the sea with a view of Singapore. The receiptionist are very polite and helpful. We checked in at the hotel on 17 October 2020 and the whole check in process was fast and took us less than 10 minutes from queuing to getting the room keys. The room is very spacious and big. It is equipped with wifi connectivity, big screen tv, a variety of tv channels, a chiller, bathrobes and complimentary mineral water. The bathroom/toilet comes with a bathtub and separate shower and the size is big and spacious. The room also have a balcony facing the seaview and Singapore. The downside of the hotel: 1. It’s located very far from JB city and after 8pm, the Forest City seems to be a dead city. 2. Some of the facilities are not open to the public(eg. Only one swimming pool is open out of the many swimming pools, facilities around the resort are limited to the Marina Hotel and many shops are closed) 3. Some of the equipment/in room facilities require repair eg. Shower head 4. Aircond is not switched on in many areas(maybe due to low occupancy) The positive part of the hotel: 1. Very friendly and polite staff in the hotel from receiption, restaurant, security guards to the housekeeping team. Good job everyone. 2. The room is neat and tidy. Sufficient towels and amenities are provided. 3. Operator/receiption answer the phone call within three rings 4. They have promotion set meal at rm20 each which is affordable.

Awesome place ! Super private place for relax and I really enjoyed my staycation. I went with hubby and baby. They provided free kids meal for my baby as well while we ordered in room dining. All their staff very friendly and helpful. They always try to meet all my request and also prepared birthday amenities for my birthday celebration. Definitely will visit again!

Beautiful place, both the pools were great and they had enough activities to keep kids busy. Room was excellent with comfy and clean sheets/towels. Personally enjoyed the bicycle rides and walks within the resort. Buffet spread was good and in room dining was good too. Will visit again

All their staff very friendly and helpful. They always try to meet all my request and also prepared birthday amenities for my birthday celebration. Definitely will visit again!
