The good and the not-so-good: Good: very close to the airport, big island (bigger than many other resort islands in the Mals), very good for snorkeling (you will see lots of fish, and even turtles ), services are great. Lots of land & water activities eg. Tennis, badminton, table tennis, kayak. You will have a host who will look after you during your stay. The not-so-good: some rooms may have out of date furniture, food could be boring if you stay there long time. Airport transfer is expensive and you don’t have any other options but use it. We are ********* married couple , it's ours first time to take vacation for 5 nights in Maldives,also ours first time to buy Resort with Trip.com... not from travel Agency near my home.We buy tickets direct from Airline.Every things going perfectly..First,I have to say 謝謝 trip.com .very fast response to friendly phone service to check out and confirm resort received my full payment ,we will buy trip again with trip.com. they have better price than others and reliable phone service! We usually buy from booking.com.but service with phone and fast response.trip.com.much better. FOR Resorts. Oblu Sangeli..They have good employees.working with truly friendly to customers.big smile. treat us very nice.not because we are *********, speak Chinese , Asian or any reason treat us not same with European customers like other place.it shows Oblu Sangeli Choose nice employees.with big heart.The food in Sangeli buffet was ok.good enough.not the best.but we no need to eat or drink too much.because we choose all inclusive.we paid also for happy employee to treated us nice and employed take care resort environment.We are happy to walk down to ocean.no need to diving already can see beautiful fishes.for people like me scared of sharks or deep water.you may come to Only service hope Resort improve.. service for gifts .must improve.if resorts want some nice customers coming back.must touch their heart and needs..no need give 3 candles meals,but want give nice shoes customers alread wear.or give papper name card not good material of Resort name card to put on luggage! .. 3 candles dinner meals to us very nice.but we refused .we know more expensive but not what we want..better to give free flip flops.put flower on bath foam..No do same gifts.if Resort try to touch customers ,We gave tip for thank you.never for buy service.because we paid for service within all inclusive..However.喜歡白色沙灘，喜歡看魚又害怕潛水的人，可以來這裡，水很淺就有珊瑚礁魚群 .非常棒的地方,可以盡情享受的飲食，音樂，環境，服務的人員非常友善.不會要求給小費，但是我們還是建議要給小費，因為謝謝人家，除了工作，還特別的真誠當朋友，小費只是給他們買飲料或是小禮物，尤其是對那些辛苦工作，對待我們是除了工作外，你能感受到的真心，不是為了小費，也不是盡責在工作而已的，當我們是朋友的聊天還有提供很棒的服務.

The weather is too bad and the hotel water house is good. The sand house is generally very rusty and not delicate. The service is great! The lifestyle host Eliza led us to our room (Reef Pool Water Villa) as soon as we arrived at the jetty - we did not need to wait till check in time of 14:00 (we arrived at about 10:00). We also get free use of snorkel gear during our stay. The water around us is fantastic - lots of marine life! The food is also great, though you must note that all drinks (even drinking water) are chargeable except during breakfast buffet. After the check out time of 12:00, the hotel arranged for us to stay till 8:00pm -3h before our flight at 11:40 pm and there are facilities for us to use at the beach club. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

The most beautiful holidays I've had so far. That's how I imagine paradise.   Arrival Arriving at Male airport for the first time is an experience, the airport is on an island itself and after leaving the airport all you see is clear blue water. Instead of taxis there are speedboats picking up tourists. Kagi island is about 1h by speedboat away (which is practically the better choice for Kagi, since the distance is small and water planes mean much more logistical effort. If you never flew with a water plane and want to experience it, do it on the way back). When we arrived on the island, we were welcomed by very friendly staff and bongo music which was super nice. Maria made us feel like home from the first minute and showed us everything important before leaving us to explore our own place.   Room We booked a pool villa in the sea which was beyond beautiful. The room is big and offers everything you need. Shampoo / conditioner is refilled every day, there is cream and after sun gel, you basically only need sun cream (also available on the island in a shop). The room has its own pool over the ocean and even though I didn't think I would use it, I ended up being in there every evening enjoying the sunset. Same applies for the bathtub, which was in the outside part of the bathroom, I spent some very relaxing evenings in there even when the weather was warm. The only thing to consider, the waves can be loud and crush into the outside of your pool, especially during the night this can be irritating if you have a light sleep. I usually use earplugs, so I didn't bother, but my partner struggled quite a lot. There are other villas with wave breakers in front, can't say if this makes a big difference but I guess so. The downside is the view is not the same with the breakers and for snorkeling it’s harder to get to the nice part of the reef. I would still go for the villas without breakers.   Location The island is small but still offers everything you need. The reef is extremely beautiful, just jump in the water with goggles and you see all kinds of fishes, even some small sharks sometimes. As a diver I can say, the reef was more interesting to explore than many dives I had in my life. The Spa is great and offers various treatments. There is also a modern gym and you can participate in the Yoga lessons every other day. I enjoyed the lessons a lot, even as a total beginner. I already miss them, might start doing Yoga myself now. :) There is also a small diving center. The dive guide was basically always available to us, very flexible and cool. We went for 11 dives in total and we were not disappointed. All of them were special and interesting. We didn't have to worry about anything, the boat brought us directly to the spots and picked us up after each dive, the crew was very professional and experienced. I was very happy during my stay at Sheraton Full Moon Maldives. It was my first time in the Maldives and was very impressed from the moment I stepped out of the transfer speedboat to the hotel. I got upgraded to the water villa and the service was beyond unexpected. We had dinner at Sea Salt on the first night and it was incrsdible amazing. I would really reccommend the place to those who are looking for the right place to stay in the Maldives.

I visited Maldives for the second time and took a short trip to Velassaru with my 3-year-old baby. I had another wonderful time. Hygiene: I stayed in a sand house for 2 nights. Every day, the staff would take the initiative to ask if it was cleaned. The guy cleaned very carefully. I like his work attitude. Facilities: Because of the rainy season, the wind and waves were very strong. I originally planned to experience the Japanese restaurant Teppanyaki, haha, but it was closed on Sunday night. I didn’t make an appointment at other restaurants and couldn’t eat. I could only have a buffet dinner in the main restaurant. I want to praise Velassaru’s buffet. I personally feel it is still very good. It is more suitable for my taste than the previous one in Xiya Family. Haha, I didn’t get to eat the ice cream twice a day around the island. At that time, the children were either sleeping or digging in the sand, and they didn’t give me a chance to eat at all. Environment: The lagoon is super beautiful. It rained a little before going to the island and I was worried that the whole journey would be rainy. Fortunately, it was sunny the next day, and the photos were also very good, haha. Service: The staff on the island are very enthusiastic. They will say hello and tease the children when they meet.

After 11 years, I visited the Maldives again. It is really a paradise, and Patina's service is definitely the icing on the cake for this trip. Patina is a full-time butler-style service. After arriving, you don't have to wait for check-in in the lobby, you can go directly to the room, and then the butler has already arranged everything. Our essentialist is Naaish, a very good butler brother. Every day's dinner reservations and daily activity arrangements are all through the essentialist. They will work hard to solve any problems encountered. On the night of our arrival, we felt that the fence around the outdoor shower area was slightly gapped, and the privacy was not enough. After telling Naaish, workers were arranged to reinforce it early the next morning. If you want to participate in various activities in the hotel, Naaish will give you very pertinent suggestions. In the end, we went to the Dolphin Cruise and saw the dolphins and the sunset, a magnificent moment worth remembering for a lifetime. The other services of the hotel are also perfect. The steak I ate one night required a medium degree of doneness. It was a bit difficult to cut after it was served. I thought the steak knife was not very good, but the waiter didn't think so at all, so I got it from the back kitchen and remade it for me. I ordered a portion, and then the chef came out and explained that because the medium should not be difficult to cut, it must be their problem or the problem of the meat. Stayed two nights (approximately 2.3w RMB) and concluded that it is a low cost hotel. A. The island is not big. There are two restaurants, one Japanese and one chowder. The ingredients are fresh and expensive (based on the per capita consumption of domestic restaurants, the unit is changed from RMB to US dollars, which is the price of his home), but the taste is really average and the whole is salty. There are not many varieties of dishes. B. Transportation on the island: The airport can be reached by speedboat in 35 minutes, roundtrip USD 357 / person, reaching the price of other long distance hotels by water. Annoyingly, when the first day arrived, the hotel actually said that our ticket was shared and we had to wait for the 4 passengers who accompanied us (their flight is expected to arrive in 1.5 hours). After serious negotiations over the phone, he finally arranged to go directly to the island. If you are not fluent in English, you can only be dumb. C. The snorkeling environment is average, especially in the snorkelling area. Many corals are bleached. The snorkeling area is also very small.
