The Royal Family Suite by Memoire Palace Resort & Spa

Overall, it's very good. Every waiter in the hotel is very enthusiastic, the service is very attentive, the environment is beautiful, and the breakfast is rich. The only drawback is that it will be greatly affected if the guests staying next to you are noisy, and the sound insulation is not very good.

Everything about this place is top-notch and wonderful! The staff are very friendly, accomodating, and helpful. The rooms are lovely, the pool area is spectacular and the whole place has a very peaceful and welcoming ambiance. The breakfast buffet included a wide variety of delicious foods and we chose to have our evening meal here every night as well. The dinners were delicious and very reasonably priced! I have traveled quite a bit in my lifetime, and Metta Residence and Spa is at the very top of my list of favourite places to stay. I will be back for sure! Thank you so very much!

We had the most amazing time at Embassy Angkor and can’t wait to go back! Everything about our stay was wonderful—from the incredibly comfortable bed and spacious room to the peaceful pool area. We absolutely love the hotel's layout; it creates such a serene and quiet atmosphere. The library area was a personal favourite. And the food—oh my God! We’ve been to so many international hotels, and it’s rare to find a place that nails every single dish. Seriously, kudos to the chefs and kitchen staff! We were so impressed that we were already making plans to return specifically to this resort because we loved it so much. A huge shoutout to the staff for being so polite and helpful, especially Savit from the restaurant and kitchen, Barang from the front office, and Polin, Sokhim, and Sa from the breakfast team. Also the girl from the bar, so sorry we didn't get her name. Thank you all for making our stay unforgettable!

We provide refreshing coconuts and wet towels in the large and spacious car that picks you up from the airport. After eating the coconuts, you will arrive at the hotel. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. We provide fresh fruit juice and delicious coffee. The room is large and clean, the air conditioner is cool, and the bathroom is clean. Even if you are far from the city, a tuk-tuk is waiting for you at any time. If it rains, they will lend you an umbrella and the smiling staff will make your trip pleasant. Free massage and welcome wine and fruit will make you feel good. The swimming pool is large and great for relaxation. The owner is friendly and seeing his smile makes me realize why the hotel staff are so friendly. I had a really comfortable trip in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Thank you.

Could do better in terms of cleaning. Just check under the bed to see.. A bit disappointing for a courtyard by Marriott Service is quite good, except when the staff is not very up to date regarding policies. Checkin was not as smooth as expected. Otherwise, staff are very helpful, and the hotel has a great swimming pool. Cocktails at the rooftop are nice though

Jaya House River Park

As a hotel enthusiast, I have to say Jaya House went above and beyond my expectations and truly represents what a true luxury hotel experience should be. What makes this place above and beyond is the people. From the owner to the managers to the staff, every single person at Jaya House brings their whole, authentic, warm-nature and kind-hearted self to deliver an experience that truly makes you feel welcomed, noticed, appreciated, relaxed and dare I say… ‘loved’. Everyday you are greeted with warm smiles and a ‘ready to help’ attitude. No request is too small or large. At some point, I felt as though I was staying at the Aman. That’s how good the service was and those who know me, know that I’m a tough critic. At the moment, the entire country of Cambodia is still recovering from Covid. Tourism is not back 100% yet so the spa is not open and dinner service is not available. Jaya House will let you know this in advance so you can manage your trip organization. Beyond the service, the rooms are spacious and well maintained. The housekeeping team is so on top of their game, to the point that we had to stop them from replacing the towels after only being used one time. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The food is delicious and they make their own tea which is amazing. The location is a bit outside of the ‘center’ and when I say a bit outside, it’s only 1.5km at most… but hey, when you’re in a relaxing mode even a 5 minute tuk-tuk can feel far 😊. Overall - an amazing experience and I cannot wait to go back when the spa is opened.

This hotel is excellent in every way but the staff are the icing on the cake. I received a warm welcome with a glass of fresh orange juice and Mr Meas gave me a personal introduction to the hotel and showed me around and the room. The breakfast is delicious and you could choose from variety of options and open from 6 am until 11 am. Other meals can be provided also. The breakfast lounge is next to the pool and very pleasant environment to start your day. The room was beautiful, spacious with antique wooden furniture. Very clean room and daily cleaning provided. The services provided are excellent and staff are always around to facilitate any of your request and willing to go extra mile to accommodate. The foot massage was very professional and one of the best I have had. The location is not too far and costs about 3 USD for a Tuktuk ride to the centre. Mr Sochea sent me off after my stay with colleagues and throughout the stay I received a more personalized family orientated service I would say. It was sad to leave this hotel. On an additional note, Cambodia is a must see country with full of very friendly and kind people. I had a great time there! I shall return again to this country / hotel and looking forward to staying longer the next time.

This lovely boutique hotel stands out with touches of a few cultures : From her Korean owners- the soft beauty & attention to nooks & corners. &, the professional in-house photographers to serve guests. From her Cambodian & Thai managers- the humility & service orientedness. Yet, the common cyclical issues of staying in hotels in less developed Southeast Asian countries staffed largely by locals surface. Unless, a higher system of global mindedness dominates.
