Guest UserA very satisfying stay.
1. The front desk staff were excellent, very quick and professional with the check-in process.
2. The breakfast selection was rich, though at certain times it could get a bit crowded and require a short wait, but this was a minor issue.
3. The room was spacious, clean, and offered great views of Nagoya city. This definitely deserves a big thumbs up.
4. There's a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, and Don Quijote is only 5 minutes away, which is incredibly convenient.
Every aspect of my stay was great, so of course, I signed up for a membership.

Narima MHad a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was slightly far from main station but the rest made up the lack of it - The room was clean and well-appointed, with thoughtful amenities that made the stay even more comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

RuomengfushengrumengMy friend stayed here last year and recommended it, saying that while it's not new, it's very well-maintained. After checking in, I can confirm that's true. Built in 1987 and renovated in 2018, the hotel is indeed well-kept in all aspects. The staff also have an excellent service mindset. For instance, on several occasions, when returning to the hotel, lobby staff would quickly go ahead to press the elevator button for me. When leaving, the doorman and lobby manager would always greet me with a smile.

Guest UserThe hotel is conveniently connected to one of the exits of Nagoya Station, which was a huge plus for us on both sunny and rainy days—especially since it rained during part of our stay!
I stayed at this hotel twice: once when I first arrived in Nagoya, and again after returning from a 2D1N trip outside the city before flying home. I'm so glad I chose Mitsui both times!
As all the guest rooms are located above the 18th floor, the views were fantastic. From our room, we enjoyed a beautiful bird's-eye view of Nagoya City. In fact, I almost felt like I didn't need to visit the observation deck on the 51st floor of JR Central Towers to enjoy the city skyline!
The service was excellent as well. The hotel kindly stored our luggage while we were away on our overnight trip. When we returned to check in for our second stay, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our luggage had already been moved to our room without us even having to ask. A big thank you to the staff for being so attentive and proactive in preparing everything before we arrived.
Besides its excellent location next to Nagoya Station, there is a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven directly opposite the hotel. There's also a Mister Donut across the road, where we grabbed breakfast and snacks before heading out each day.
Overall, I honestly have nothing to complain about. The location, service, and comfort all exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again when I visit Nagoya.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The cleanliness, facilities, and service are all top-notch. The location is super convenient too, Nagoya has so many great shopping spots! There was a slight misunderstanding at first, but the Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk were incredibly patient and reassuring. A big thank you to them, they were so professional! Overall, a 100% perfect hotel!!

Guest UserRight in the Central Towers of Nagoya, the location is excellent. Downstairs you'll find a transportation hub, shopping mall, and restaurants, so you can explore and dine without being exposed to the elements. The breakfast was also fantastic.

Guest UserThe hotel is great, offering a slow-paced, pastoral lifestyle. The breakfast is semi-buffet with a à la carte menu. There's only one restaurant, a mix of Japanese and Western cuisine, and the food tastes good. The coffee, however, is just average. You get a 10% discount if you pay with your mobile phone.

Guest UserThe hotel check-in is on the sixth floor. There was a bit of a mix-up with my reservation at first, which caused some delays, but once it was sorted out, everything else was very satisfactory. The Nagoya Kanko Hotel is an older 5-star hotel with large and spacious public areas. As is common with most Japanese hotels, Saturday rates are significantly higher than weekdays. They offer smoking rooms (many Japanese hotels are now completely smoke-free). The bathroom was still very well-maintained, and the toiletries were BVLGARI. The breakfast quality was also excellent. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the airport shuttle bus stop, making travel to Chubu Airport very easy. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Nagoya.

Anonymous UserHeads up! The Nagoya Prince Hotel discriminates heavily against Chinese tourists, terrible experience.
I was really looking forward to staying at this supposedly high-end hotel, but from start to finish, the front desk staff clearly treated Chinese guests differently. Their attitude towards us was cold and perfunctory, completely lacking in service professionalism. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel for domestic travelers.
When checking in, European and American guests in my group asked questions, and the staff were patient, thorough, and smiled throughout their interactions. But when it was our turn to ask about room types using simple Chinese and basic English, the staff remained expressionless, frequently interrupted our questions, and even refused to use a translation app I was using to communicate. Their answers were perfunctory and sloppy. They even claimed there were no Chinese-speaking staff, despite the hotel clearly offering Chinese service. The contrast was stark and made us feel very uncomfortable.
When we tried to give feedback about the difference in service, the front desk showed no apology whatsoever. Instead, they prevaricated and shirked responsibility, completely disregarding our reasonable concerns. As a star-rated hotel with high prices, they should treat guests from all countries equally, but instead, they showed prejudice and discriminated against Chinese guests. The service and hospitality were subpar in every aspect. Paying a high price only to receive a frustrating and upsetting accommodation experience, I strongly advise Chinese tourists planning to visit Nagoya to avoid this hotel. For the same price, there are many other options that respect Chinese guests and offer thoughtful service. Don't fall into this trap.

StekmerThe location is inside the Toyohashi Station which makes arrival a and departure by train very easy.
The room was clean and comfortable and my request of a room on high floor with extra pillows was provided.
There is a free coffee machine at reception.
Entry and exit to the station requires walking up 4 or 5 steps and then an escalator as the lift access is not available to L2 from the foyer (available from L2 to Lobby).
I found the room cleaning arrangements to be more complex than others (9 this trip) I have used.
I would stay again based on the room quality and view from my 12 floor window.
