This is just an island of civilization in a dirty city and an opportunity to relax. Lovely big room with a comfortable bed, cozy pool and really good service. Traveler's life hack: when trying to find a place to switch in countries like India, you can go to the lobby bar of a 4-5 star hotel. Here in the lobby bar everything was super, Indian white wine and masala tea 🙌

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm and welcoming reception, making us feel right at home. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. We had lunch at Divo Restaurant, and I was especially impressed by the level of care given to my dietary needs. The chef was very accommodating, which made dining an enjoyable and stress-free experience. A special mention to Anand, who provided fantastic service—attentive, professional, and always with a warm smile. Overall, an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional hospitality and service. Looking forward to visiting again!

It didn't look like a Marriott property. 1) Arrogant staff. 2) View from hotel windows is not good at all. 3) Mosquito in the breakfast area 4) Full of flies and mosquito in kids play area. No one would take care of your special request, was there for anniversary but none of the staff bothered to even wish. Other hotel chains like holiday inn, Radisson are much better then Marriott Agra.

Not at a level where you can't swim. Is there a breakfast buffet menu every day? change. I stayed 2 nights but it was nice to have a change. (bad place) I lost my friend's earphones in the room, but I couldn't find them. 2 hours after check out... old hair dryer Heavy construction noise during the day Occasional power outages (recovers in about 1 minute, but often...) Hotel facilities (rooftop, lounge, etc.) are lacking in some places It feels old and deserted. The view from the window is not good (surrounding ruins, etc.) The breakfast bread is bad (croissants, donuts, etc.) and should be improved.

Trident Agra proved to be a hidden gem. Their service staff was very warm helpful and friendly. Though it was just one night the stay was comfortable and we enjoyed the drinks at the bar and the in room dining option. The presence of a potter, a palm reader and bangle seller added to the charm.

We couldn't sleep...people screaming all night, it was like a fair. Is it possible that the hotel staff is only concerned with receiving customers and not ensuring their per***ent comfort? How is it possible to have loud music in a room, people slamming doors and talking loudly in the corridors all night long???? This is a Starwood chain hotel...(???) Fabulous breakfast.

The reception by the front desk staff upon check-in was also very polite, and the other staff greeted me thoroughly, making my stay comfortable. Breakfast, taste and variety are all very good.

The perfect hotel in Agra. The real 5 star hotel. The service is extremely high, the stuff can help you with everything. The breakfast is delicious and there are a lot of choice. From the Sky deck you can see Taj Mahal and have a drink (cocktail price is 1000 rupees). The dinner was great. And the best thing is a swimming pool.

Go to the Taj Mahal and stay here for one night. The interior of the hotel is old and the bedding is clean. Don't ask too much in India. The service is good, it may be the legacy of the old British colony, and the breakfast is rich. The hotel is not far from the Taj Mahal, more than 1 km, the hotel is opposite the military camp, I heard that security is guaranteed. Overall it can.

Perfect location, perfect service, and perfect hotel. The hotel is very close to Taj Mahal. The hotel provides electric cars to the Taj Mahal. The swimming pool and back garden of the hotel are a piece of art. I will live for a longer time next time.

Very angry! I booked a room for two days there. The money was paid by credit card. When I left the store, the front desk said that I only received one day's money! I didn’t have to pay another day’s cash. I had no choice but to pay it! Then contact Ctrip to help solve, but Ctrip has been unable to contact the hotel! Very irritating!

The hotel location is perfect for tourists who want to visit the nearby wordwide wonder monument Taj Mahal. The room are enough comfortable and clean, there are no superlative notes to remember but the acceptable standard for a short stay.

We had booked Renaissance via Trip.com and the hotel hospitality was worth appreciation. The breakfast lunch and dinner were a treat to taste buds. The staff was cooperative regarding any service de***ded. It's a place worth coming again...

India's well-deserved hotel, luxurious decoration, first-class service, intimate and comfortable, rich breakfast, daily newspapers. It is completely isolated from the mess outside, just like being in two different worlds, it is worth staying.

Not bad, a good choice in this city, there is still a little distance from the Ganges, but there seems to be no suitable hotel on the Ganges River, so staying here is ok, recommended!

This is a hotel that impressed us during our trip to India. The service was very attentive, although it only lasted for one night. We went to TAKE A BOATRUDE FOR CEREMONY at 5:15 in the morning. The hotel arranged a boatman and waiter on time to guide us on the boat, and prepared the blanket very thoughtfully. It is hard to imagine how cold we would be without the blanket. Then we went to breakfast. A waiter provided us with services. Usually they started the meal at 7 am, but because we left the hotel at 7 am, they prepared some hot meals in advance, and they were very warm. Then on time, the boatman and PORTER took us on board and went to Baiqiao to meet our driver. They didn't leave until they put the boxes in the car. The key point came, the driver whispered, the hotel front desk started to call him at 5 o'clock in the morning, and constantly reminded him that he must wait for us early, for fear that we were delayed or could not find him. In fact, we didn't tell the hotel in advance, we needed them to remind the driver and so on. We just told the front desk that we were departing at 10 o'clock and we needed to depart from the hotel at 7 o'clock. Makes the hotel more nervous than us, afraid of being late and so on. The meticulous and perfect service exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this hotel, BRIRAMA PALACE VARANASI, WONDERFUL HOTEL!

The hotel is safer in the army area. The front desk was a bit cold, probably too busy. Breakfast is OK, mostly in India, and less in Western style. The room is small, the twin bed is to take apart the big bed that has been put together, resulting in a bed that is very awkward and sleeps at the door. The hotel is a bit far from the altar. Varanasi is the world of tutu cars and rickshaws. There are a lot of tutu cars at the door, and it is convenient to go anywhere. Tutu driver Reis is very good, my friend and I have been packing his car. The cost is about 1000-1500 rupees a day, depending on how far you go, you can bargain. Reis also has half a tour guide, so the price is more expensive than pure tutu, English simple communication is basically OK. It's a lot of time to have a local guide safe.

While we stayed in ***y TAJ properties and carry very warm memories of TAJNESS from most of the properties but this property stays in our heart very closely for ***y reasons may be for our life time. 1) Rich legacy this property carries 2) Small & Unique property which we haven't seen by far 3) The suites are very large. In fact they are the largest which we seen till now 4) Most importantly the hospitality shown by each colleague was tremendous and didn't feel till now While every colleague has shown warmth and gave their best but to name few, 1) Rhimjhim- Right from the check in to see off she was there with us. Very Helpful and informative. She took care of our kids when we were out for temple DARSHAN, visits etc. 2) Venu- Very polite and attentive to each of our requirement, be it lunch, Dinner or breakfast-for that matter anything else 3) Vikas- While he is heading food & beverages for both the properties but he made sure that at least he touch based 1-2 times with us and enquired about our comfort. In fact 16th December is his Birthday but still he is at the job and enquiring about our well being. Hats off to his commitment levels 4) GM of the hotel- My apologies for not remembering his name but very kind and there for check in & out while he is busy As mentioned earlier, above are the few names which I mentioned here but otherwise every one was so attentive to our needs and helpful. I thank once again all my colleagues for their excellent hospitality and we will remember this stay for our life time. My kids were so nostalgic that they just wanted to be in Varanasi to stay in this property once again. Not sure whether we can make it in the near future but I'm sure they will definitely make it to this property once again when they grow up and will cherish their childhood memories.
