5-Star Hotels in Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Indonesia

We stayed in Aston due to its close proximity to Gambir Station, where we were taking the panoramic train to Bandung. What we loved about the hotel is it’s adjacent to a mall where we had our dinner. There’s also several banks behind the hotel we withdrew our funds and a convenience store (Indomaret) for snacks. The only downside is it’s quite a distance from the airport (about 1 hour plus drive due to the traffic).

Staying in a deluxe room was much much better than an executive suite, hotel fulfilled our request to decorate our room for the anniversary. We started to enjoy our stay after our first day staying in executive suite ended up with disappointment, breakfast area very crowded but it's fine and restaurant staffs doing excellent job. When we check out Joshua very nice and professional, and we would be happy to stay again with Pullman in the future.

While our overall stay at Oakwood Jakarta was enjoyable, the lack of a warm welcome was disappointing. The receptionist working between 8-9 PM on October 17th, 2024, wasn’t friendly or smiling, which left us with a poor first impression. She also didn’t provide any information about the hotel’s facilities – we weren’t told how to access the pool, the restaurants, or any other amenities. It felt like we were left to figure things out on our own. This was especially surprising after spending 10 days in Bali, where everyone went out of their way to smile, offer help with our bags, and make sure we were comfortable. At Oakwood, no one even asked if we needed assistance with our luggage. Despite the disappointing service, the hotel itself was great. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location is also a huge plus – just a 10-minute walk to PIK Avenue and around 23 minutes from the airport, making it super convenient. If the service at the front desk were improved, this hotel could easily be a top-tier choice. For now, I’d still recommend it for its comfort, location, and overall facilities – just be prepared for a less-than-warm welcome.

Stayed for one night and the room was very spacious and the bed for very comfortable. Bathroom was squeaky clean and toilet had a bidet (yay!). Location wise as well was easy to find as we were driving and there are a few malls located within the vicinity. Unfortunately, the aircon in our room somehow died in the middle of the night so I woke up at around 3am and was suddenly sweating. Thankfully (and gratefully), we managed to call guest services and they sent a technician to our room to fix the issue. Strangely, the room services was not open at 9am (or was it 10am?) which was a bit disappointing because we had hoped to order breakfast from room service before checking out but alas. Staff was friendly and helpful and there was complimentary parking since we were driving. Forgot to take photos because we checked in really late (almost close to midnight) and was exhausted from driving back from Yogyakarta but generally great stay overall.

My family and I had a very wonderful stay. The hotel was able to answer all of my enquiries before my trip. I emailed the hotel regarding my airport pick up and I reveived a reply and transport booked withon the same day. During my stay there, the reception, Ms Erika and other colleagues were very approachable and friendly. My nieces were very happy with them. They were given a soft toy as a welcome gift. The hotel do have indoor and outdoor play area for kids. Suitable for family with kids. We ordered grab/ gojek food there (using the app). The hotel concierge sent out food deliveries up to the room. Overall, service superb! 👍👍 I will definitely stay in Ascott Kuningan again when I visit Jakarta. Thank you 😄

The hotel's exterior is incredibly luxurious, exuding a low-key elegance upon entering the lobby. The staff greet guests warmly and warmly. The rooms exude a warm atmosphere, the mattresses are comfortably comfortable, and the bathtubs are clean. The staff handle various inquiries exceptionally well. The hotel's dining options were also excellent, adding a lot of color to my trip.

Booked this hotel as it was near to JIEXPO which was where my event was held. The hotel is about 10 minutes car ride to JIEXPO, which was really convenient for us. However, it is not nearby any major shopping malls or food places so for any late night supper, you will have to grab in. Service can be very slow during peak periods (e.g. DWP festival) and check-in queues can take up to 30minutes. We requested for a non-smoking room during booking and was only told that none of the non-smoking rooms were ready by 3pm check-in time and had to wait another additional 1-2 hours. Breakfast provided was acceptable at best. Executive king room was spacious but can be a little worn down. 

How do I know if I enjoyed the stay here? I actually feel sad checking out of the hotel 😂 Room and bed was comfortable, I was able to get a good night sleep throughout my stay. Service was tip top, safety guaranteed and love the convenient link way to the mall. Hotel breakfast spread was huuuge there were plenty of options. I would definitely want to bring my family and friends over next time. If you’re looking for a comfy stay within the area I would definitely recommend this hotel! It’s more pricey but you get your money’s worth 👍🏻

40 minutes ride from airport. Hotel is very new and sparkling clean. Check in is fast and service is superb. Shower, aircon and bed are all comfortable. Have night food stalls just downstairs and nearby convenience stores. Good location to rest anf explore jakarta. Executive lounge will be ready within 2024 for booking. I will be back!
