"The biggest surprise of my Turpan trip was staying at Rizamat Homestay! The entire estate feels like an ancient Western Regions castle, blending Uyghur and Moroccan styles with rammed earth walls, pointed towers, and courtyard pools. Every photo taken here looks like an exotic blockbuster, creating an incredible atmosphere. The room was spacious and clean, with intricate ethnic decor details – the wooden carved furniture and distinctive throw pillows were incredibly charming. With both central air conditioning and underfloor heating, it was exceptionally comfortable. The service was warm and attentive, with welcome fruits upon check-in and complimentary mini-bar drinks. Breakfast was rich and authentic. The location is excellent, very close to Grape Valley Scenic Area, making transportation convenient. The estate also has a café, a sand therapy area, and a laundry room, offering a full range of recreational facilities for an excellent experience. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Turpan!"

"I previously stayed at Mehood Lestie in Chongzuo and had a fantastic experience. They offered complimentary cold drinks, afternoon tea, and even late-night snacks during the scorching summer, which was very impressive. The service was excellent, and the price was quite reasonable. This time, I booked the same Mehood Lestie for convenience as I was transferring from a train to a flight the next day. Overall, it was good. Initially, I was given a room that smelled of smoke, but after a quick call, they promptly moved me to another room. The breakfast spread was extensive. To my surprise, I even caught a sunrise from my room the next morning. However, one thing to note is that some room types have steps inside, which made me a bit nervous, fearing I might trip during the night. Luckily, that didn't happen."

"I chose to stay at the Air Garden in the old city the night before leaving Kashgar to see the apricot blossoms in Southern Xinjiang. As soon as I completed my booking, the guesthouse manager contacted me to ask if I needed airport transfer and informed me about the local weather conditions. I felt a sense of warmth even before checking in. Since vehicles aren't allowed in the old city, the manager informed me of the drop-off point and picked me up the night before check-in. This service was fantastic and saved me the awkwardness of dragging my luggage around looking for the place. The hotel used to be the residence of a local 'Master Bayi' who was in the jade business. His eldest son later inherited the business and expanded it internationally. The original residence was very luxurious. Later, a boss from Hunan bought it and preserved the original four floors. The current third and fourth floors are replicas of the original residence, featuring exquisite wood carvings, making it a wood carving museum. Guests can visit for free. The fifth to seventh floors are the guesthouse, and the first floor sells jade. On the day of check-in, I received a complimentary jade 'peace buckle' from the guesthouse, which was a thoughtful touch 👍 The room decor had a distinct local flavor. Welcome fruits were already waiting in the room, and the mini-bar was free to enjoy. The super-large terrace offered a fantastic spot for enjoying the night view. On the day of check-in, I got to enjoy a complimentary afternoon tea. The pastries were exquisite, and sipping tea while admiring the beautiful scenery of the old city made all my worries disappear. This hotel boasts the highest vantage point in the entire old city, perfect for watching sunsets and sunrises. I didn't get to experience it this time, but I'll definitely try it next time. A big thank you to my manager, a handsome local guy, who was with me from the moment I booked until I left. He showed me around and explained the stories behind the wood carving museum, promptly resolved any requests I had during my stay, and patiently inquired about my airport transfer. Thumbs up! The guesthouse manager arranges breakfast for guests on the fifth floor according to their requested time. You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors. The breakfast spread was rich and well-balanced; I couldn't even finish it all by myself 😂 This guesthouse has only 10 rooms, offering a high degree of privacy. The elevator and entrances all use facial recognition. After checking in, I had a travel photoshoot with makeup on, and afterwards, the facial recognition surprisingly didn't work 😂 This only further convinced me of the guesthouse's excellent security! 👍 Although it's a guesthouse, it's very well-managed. Here, I truly experienced what 'customer-first' means. The guesthouse manager, Ms. Jin, an elegant lady, genuinely cares for guests, making everyone feel at home. I heard that after May 1st, the guesthouse will offer a service where managers take guests on tours of the old city. This is a brilliant idea, saving guests who are unfamiliar with the old city the hassle of getting lost. I look forward to the guesthouse getting better and better. The guesthouse's amenity kit is beautiful, and the manager said I could take it home, which is great! 😄 I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Kashgar. I highly recommend everyone to experience the charm of this guesthouse up close and hear its stories firsthand."

"I booked this hotel for my trip to Altay, and overall, it exceeded my expectations. It's a great choice for a place to stay during your travels. The room decor was simple yet elegant, and the space was generous and not cramped at all. The bed had just the right firmness, making for a really comfortable sleep. What I was most satisfied with was the cleanliness; the sheets and bedding are changed for each new guest, there were no strange odors, and the tabletops and floors were spotless. Even the bathroom facilities were free of limescale – they really paid attention to the details. The hotel breakfast offered a decent variety. There were plenty of Chinese options like congee, noodles, steamed buns, and fried dough sticks, as well as Western choices like bread, coffee, and fried eggs, catering to different tastes. Food items were refilled promptly, so there was no shortage, and a hot meal was the perfect way to start the day. The staff were also very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, with no delays. The location is quite convenient too, with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to find food and get around. This hotel offers great value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Altay!"

"This hotel is really warm, the front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the manager is also super patient, not only the service is in place, but also carefully explain to us the surrounding play guide, the whole process is very friendly and comfortable. "The hotel was very spacious, parking was convenient, and the environment was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful. We traveled with our child, and the 2-meter king-size bed was perfect for our family of three. The hotel also provided brochures for daily tours in Turpan, which we used to plan our trip. However, there was one minor drawback in the room: no separate makeup mirror. This was a bit inconvenient for someone with poor eyesight, as the mirror over the sink was too far away, and leaning forward was difficult due to the sink blocking the way. It would be perfect if there was a small makeup mirror next to the sink mirror. Other than the heat, Turpan was really great, and it was a perfect trip overall."

Overall, the service is professional and thoughtful, and the staff are gentle and courteous. Whether it's travel inquiries or room requests, they respond very promptly. With such a meticulous and attentive front desk staff like Martin, the entire trip was comfortable and worry-free. When I return to Urumqi in the future, I will definitely choose the Conrad again. It's my irreplaceable best choice for trips to Xinjiang, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Urumqi for business or leisure!"
