"The hotel service was excellent. Staff helped with luggage upon arrival and departure. The room had an oxygen concentrator, and there's a doctor available 24/7 on the first floor, which is a huge plus for guests worried about altitude sickness. Room service also brought up our takeout and a case of mineral water. The Chinese restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast spread was plentiful, especially the rice noodles which were perfectly to my taste. Many foreigners stay here. The one-on-one WeChat service with Riri was incredibly helpful and responsive to all our needs. I'll definitely be staying at The St. Regis Lhasa again next time I'm in Lhasa."

"This stay was absolutely perfect, I was extremely satisfied in every aspect! The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and friendly, and check-in was efficient and smooth; the rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortably laid out, making for an excellent stay; the breakfast was varied and delicious, a pleasant dining experience; the laundry facilities were complete and easy to use, making daily laundry very convenient; the gym had comprehensive equipment, making exercise and leisure very convenient. The hotel maintained strict hygiene standards, with every area spotless and refreshing, and its excellent location made transportation convenient. All the staff were professional and attentive, and the waiter Wanzai's attitude was superb. I sincerely recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again next time!"

"I stayed at this hotel after visiting Lulang Village to see the peach blossoms, and the service was excellent. I heard it's considered the best hotel in Bayi Town. It's about a 20-minute drive from Linzhi High-Speed Rail Station. I chose it because I was taking the high-speed rail to Lhasa the next day. The breakfast was very good, and for dinner, we had the stone pot chicken set. The ******* chicken was quite tough, so we mainly just drank the soup. The hotel provides a full range of toiletries, including body lotion. I took a good oxygen-infused shower and washed my hair; I wouldn't dare wash it so easily the next day when heading to Lhasa."

"Many people, myself included, often debate between the St. Regis and the Shangri-La, as both hotels in Beijing are quite unremarkable. Ultimately, I chose the Shangri-La for its value for money. I had considered Songtsam too, but common sense told me to be a smart spender. Although the hotel shows its age, its architectural style is grand and refined, revealing luxurious material choices. Time has inevitably left its mark, but a classic car, even when old, is still a classic car. Moreover, service and quality require time to accumulate and withstand market scrutiny. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it. My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work! The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience."

"I absolutely love Farly Hotel. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, like spinning prayer wheels and performing sang offerings. I particularly recommend the evening sound bath experience and the morning Pilates. The instructor's stretching exercises really helped improve my posture. I also woke up early to watch the sunrise, but there's a mountain to the east of Farly, so the sun actually appears about 45 minutes after the official sunrise time. Still, it was a beautiful sight."

"I stayed at this hotel from June 5-7 2026. The official check in time is listed at 2 pm. They did not give me access to my room until after 4 pm. Furthermore, laundry is listed as included service and they said their facility was not working and had to send it somewhere else. They charged me a hefty fee. I believe it’s a misnomer for this hotel to call themselves “international” This hotel really only caters to Chinese speaking populations, which is fine and the typical situation in Lhasa, but to be more accurate, the hotel shouldn’t make the claim “international.” That would typically imply better more comprehensive services for people outside of one population and nationality. This hotel is listed as 5 stars in Lhasa. I have traveled to many countries and stayed in many 5 star hotels. According to my experience, this hotel doesn’t measure up to a 5 star standard. Perhaps it did in the past. 5 star hotels typically have much better restaurants and dining options. The room was clean and I had a nice view."

"The hotel was absolutely amazing. I arrived around 8 PM, and they immediately offered me sweet tea and asked me to sit down and rest. The hotel staff had already checked me in. The air conditioning and oxygen generator were already on in the room, and the white fungus porridge on the table was at the perfect temperature. The overall facilities were excellent, the shower gel smelled wonderful, and the room was very clean. The kettle boiled water quickly, and the service was great. The only downside was the TV; it could be upgraded. The breakfast was delicious, especially the rice noodles—I ate two bowls! The chicken sausage was also excellent; many dishes featured beef and chicken, which are suitable for ethnic minorities, which was a big plus. The stir-fried ******* noodles were delicious, and the yogurt was also very good. However, the toppings were just average, and the honey was a little too sweet. But overall, it was fantastic. They first poured me a cup of tea, then I asked for hot milk, and they even prepared hot coffee for me – very thoughtful. The next morning, I had to catch a flight at 7 am, so I asked the hotel if they could prepare breakfast, and they thoughtfully provided bread, water, and milk. The hotel offered a choice between afternoon tea and evening drinks; I chose the drinks because I was busy in the afternoon and didn't go for the afternoon tea, but the drinks were truly amazing and delicious. Just look at the pictures! They gave me a gin and tonic, the orange one was Blood and Sand, the one with cucumber was Moscow Mule, and the red wine was Sangria. That was my order. The Blood and Sand and Sangria were very good (I recommend drinking the Sangria last). I also left an unused oxygen cylinder for you."

"On the evening of April 30th, after completing the Kora and on my way back, I stayed at the Hilton Shigatse once again. Manager Wangjiu Basang warmly and efficiently handled my check-in. The next morning, I flew from Shigatse Heping Airport to Shenzhen, with a layover in Chengdu. It wasn't until I was unpacking my luggage at home that I realized I had left my phone charger in the hotel room. With a 'nothing to lose' attitude, I contacted Manager Wangjiu Basang. He immediately assured me not to worry and said he would look for it right away. Soon enough, the charger was found, and it has already been returned to me via SF Express. Although it's a small matter, Manager Wangjiu Basang's professional and responsible work attitude is truly commendable!"

"Undoubtedly the best hotel in Jieba Village. It's a complete package with a restaurant, bar, lifestyle center, and various Tibetan-themed experience halls. The afternoon tea was excellent; the beef jerky and open-faced sandwiches were particularly delicious. The hotel's environment is top-notch, truly living up to Songtsam's reputation with tasteful colors and decor. Watching the sunset from their private pier behind the hotel in the evening was also fantastic. My daughter's beef burger from the Himalaya Restaurant was very authentic, and the breakfast spread was even richer, featuring local tsampa. Songtsam's staff are all incredibly welcoming. Our butler messaged us in advance with all the details and hotel menus. Throughout our stay, they sent thoughtful reminders via messaging. The pick-up, luggage handling, and valet parking services were all flawlessly executed. The smiles of the ******* young men and women were truly infectious. As for the evening drink, the tremella soup was thoughtfully placed in a thermos. I was quite full, but I took a small taste, and it was very good."

"Lhasa, known as the 'City of Sunshine,' left an incredibly beautiful memory for my family and me during our stay at the InterContinental Lhasa Paradise. The hotel's exterior is grand and aesthetically pleasing, with an overall stylish ambiance. The bedding in the rooms was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep every night. What we loved most was the glass design in the lobby; sitting there, you can gaze up at Lhasa's pristine blue skies and white clouds. As the sunlight streams in, it truly broadens your mind. Before our trip, we were torn between The St. Regis Lhasa Resort and Shangri-La. We even visited both properties to compare their services. After careful consideration, we ultimately chose the InterContinental Lhasa Paradise, and looking back, it was absolutely the right decision. My family and I have stayed at many high-end hotels both domestically and internationally, but the service here, in particular, genuinely impressed us. Throughout our stay, the person I want to commend most sincerely is our butler, Dekyi Nancy. She went above and beyond for us, handling numerous tasks, many of which were outside her regular duties. We felt a little bad for bothering her so frequently, but she was always gracious, handling everything big and small with meticulous care and no complaints. Dekyi Nancy not only has outstanding professional abilities but also treats guests with warmth and sincerity, offering professional and detailed service, and handling matters reliably and steadily. Knowing that altitude sickness can be an issue upon arrival, she constantly kept our family's health in mind. She would proactively check in on us daily, offering thoughtful reminders about high-altitude travel, rest, and dietary precautions. No matter what problems we encountered or what needs we had, she responded immediately, patiently helped coordinate solutions, and provided attentive companionship throughout our stay. Compared to other high-end hotels we've experienced, Dekyi Nancy's enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism truly stood out. Her service wasn't just a rigid, procedural interaction; it was genuine care and concern from the heart, making us, as visitors in a foreign land, feel a profound sense of warmth. With excellent facilities, breathtaking views, and such warm and thoughtful service, our entire stay was impeccable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to friends visiting Lhasa and feel fortunate to have met such an exceptional butler as Dekyi Nancy during our trip. Her meticulous care made our high-altitude journey comfortable and unforgettable."
