We had a very pleasant stay at Novotel. The location was fantastic with easy access to the MRT and also to the key sights! While we had a small encounter with one of the front desk staff on the morning when we had to go off early on a day trip to Luoyang, the staff have been hospitable and would go out of their way to help us. We are particularly happy with the lady in the restaurant and the staff within the restaurant. Always ready with a smile! Would like to give an excellent review for 小任, the housekeeping staff who cleaned our rooms daily! There was an evening when we returned to find that she had taken the initiative to wash my socks for me. I was pleasantly shocked by the gesture! There was no need for her to do so, yet, she went out of her way to make us feel at home! Thank you Novotel! We would definitely choose to stay with you again!

We stayed here for 2 nights and everyone was really nice and friendly. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable. The location is good, walking distance from South Gate. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around. The restaurant of the hotel has really good food. We went there for the two nights after exploring and the food was tasty and the portions are big from a European point of view. Breakfast has a mixture of sweet and savoury foods. We also used the laundry room that has self service. The check out went smoothly with the help of Amy, Emma and Huang.

The Hotel enjoys an excellent location and even better staff, a book I forgot in the room, surprisingly received from express delivery when I was in another city the next day!! Responsible and reliable staff.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for three nights. We booked a standard room which was very affordable, and the hotel is located in the city centre, great location! There is a subway station just right next to the hotel so that’s very convenient as traffic in Xi’an is terrible! Upon check-in, a member of staff helped us and he was very friendly, he spoke English very well and that was helpful for us. Apparently the room that booked isn’t available so they upgraded us to a suite which was sweet! The room was humongous! It was very fancy, however I think the hotel is quite old, and some interior needs changing. We had a massive bed, maybe a California king bed? Very comfy bed! We had afternoon tea for two and a happy hour in the evening. (Not our favourite but it was a good deal). The gym was good too, they have some basic equipment and we were happy with it. The swimming pool was full of children so we didn’t use it, as we wanted peace and quiet. This is the most exciting part! On our final night, we got back quite late from exploring Xi’an and when we entered our room, it was pretty dark. No electricity. 🤣 I was super exhausted and I wanted to have a bath and just relax. But no can do. We had to go downstairs and update staff about the situation. We were told to wait downstairs, they gave us some water and we sat for about 15 minutes or so. And then a staff came to see us with a new set of key cards. She apologized to us for the inconvenience, like many times! We told her it wasn’t their fault but I think they really need some renovation haha (I didn’t say that to her), so she said we will be moved to a different room, from 20th floor to 28th floor. It sounded like we just got upgraded again! Haha. So we headed up to our new room, I opened the doors and wow! It was a 2-floor suite! It was amazing! I wanted to live in it haha. We were very exhausted and tired but it was a very sweet experience to have! My favourite was the bathroom as we had double sinks! (Yup that’s my thing) Overall, our stay in this hotel has been amazing. (Apart from the electricity problem) We liked the staff best, they were very helpful and kind to us. Everyone who worked in this hotel has been superb! And lastly, the manager gave us 20% discount as a compensation for the electricity incident. I would recommend this hotel to others due to its great location and incredibly helpful staff.

Check-in was a breeze! The room was spacious and the beds at 1.3m width a good size. We were only there for 2 nights. My grandkids enjoyed the infinity pool and loved that child-size bedroom slippers were available. We didn't eat at the hotel because there was a mall and plenty of food options just next door. Location-wise, it is near the railway station but a little farther from Datong Everbright City and the Wild Goose Pagoda where the night activity was. Nonetheless, it was a lovely place to come back to after a day out.

The scenery is excellent, very close to the city wall, and there are many Hanfu makeup shops on the underground floor downstairs. The hotel has complete facilities, clean and hygienic, and the breakfast is very exquisite and delicious (especially the cold dish area). There is a terrace restaurant on the fifth floor where you can see the city wall and Yongning Gate Tower. There is a free laundry room. The hotel has a unique design style. The front desk staff Xiao Hu, Xiao Pan, and Xiao Liu are very attentive and enthusiastic. Thumbs up. However, if you are more sensitive and need a particularly quiet room, the room facing the city wall is a bit noisy at night. There are street performers singing all the time on weekends. If you like lively, it doesn't matter. Overall, I am still very satisfied and will recommend friends to stay.

The hotel is in a great location, right inside the Huaqing Palace. The hotel helped reserve the Song of Everlasting Regret performance, which was difficult to book during the National Day holiday. The hotel staff also picked up and dropped off guests at night. The breakfast was amazing, and it felt like it was made to the standard of a full meal. The stir-fried dishes were very delicious. After a day late, I went back to the room to soak in the same hot spring water as Yang Guifei. It was amazing, and it was still running water!!! The hotel provided travel photography, makeup and photography teachers were all very professional. The hotel is fine except for its high price.

This hotel is at a superb location just next to 不夜城. However, to go to Metro need a long walk. Breakfast has wide selection of food. Bed is very comfortable. We also tried the buffet dinner which is great. Also visited the free ticket to basement museum which is quite a good scale and collections. Truly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. Highly recommended although price is not cheap.

When we check in, my wife and me were very pleased with the utmost courtesy and speedy check in we received from the front office manager, Miss Kitty Shang whose professionalism is without doubt. She went the extra length in finding my Hilton Honors membership. We will happy with the cleanliness and housekeeping service throughout our stay. We were more impressed even when she extended the kind assistance during our checkout and giving tips and advice on our next visit. We received a well packed chocolate Terracota warrior which make our day more than happy to stay at this Hilton hotel at 199 Dongxin street, Xian. As we are visiting xi’an again, we will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you Miss Kitty Shang, you make my stay pleasant and happy throughout with your service.

The location is very good. It takes less than two minutes to see the hotel from the subway station. The hotel lobby is on the 8th floor. It is very good to store luggage for two days after check-out. However, the software and hardware of the room are not good enough. If you want a good location, choose this place. Later, I stayed at the Bell Tower Station in Xi'an, which was not as good as this one

Fellow travellers were very happy with the large spacious room and amenities. After a very tiring Mt. Huashan climb, it was a welcomed relief to be back to a nice hotel. Staff were very attentive and gave extra bottles of water. Location is 5km either way to the Mt. Huashan ticketing center and XiyueMiao. Both places a definite must to visit when in HuaShan.

A ginormous hotel with spectacular Mountain View’s, but not so many guests so felt like a ghost town. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the Huashan scenic area booking office, and a handful of restaurants, couple of coffee shops and massage salon. The main reason for this location is hiking and enjoying the amazing hot springs. There isn’t anything else nearby for those who are not interested in those two activities! Lots of hot spring pools, and a large swimming pool, which you access via the shuttle car, this runs every couple of minutes so super convenient. Room is very large, so is bathroom. Breakfast is sufficient, restaurant for dinner closes at 21:00 and didn’t try. Overall a lovely hotel stay.

Brand new facility but the staff is not yet trained to welcome foreign guests. The registration to the police is their duty but they sent us the WeChat link to do it by ourselves. We had to insist so they do it. The swimming pool is great. 👍 Dining service can improve too (why spoiling the food by pouring the wasabi sauce in front of us without instead of leaving the sauce in the pot for us to add the suitable flavor). They are trying their best and we can feel their efforts but the result is yet to achieve. Better management should be provided to guide the team..

The hotel environment is OK, and it is quite big. According to the front desk, there are 3 buildings, opposite the ancient city gate of Hancheng, and it has its own courtyard~ However, the courtyard with better scenery is open to the outside, so even though I booked a courtyard room, there is no view outside the window~ The room is not small, and the overall facilities are OK. It is a bit strange that the shower water is not very good, the water flow is too small, but the shower design has problems. The water will overflow after washing, and the whole bathroom is wet and inconvenient. I still think it should be improved. The breakfast is also simple, but it is okay to eat enough

My stay at the Jianguo Hotel in Weinan was nothing short of extraordinary. The entire team, from the front desk to the cleaning ladies, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They were always eager to assist with any request or inquiry, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay. The level of cleanliness and attention to detail maintained by the cleaning staff was remarkable. My room was immaculate, and the cleaning ladies ensured that I returned to a welcoming and tidy space after a day of exploring Weinan. Beyond the excellent facilities and services, the Jianguo Hotel's location is also worth mentioning. It provided easy access to the public transport, allowing me to explore the rich culture and history of both Weinan and Xi'An, effortlessly. In summary, my stay at the Jianguo Hotel was an experience I will cherish forever. The combination of outstanding breakfast options, exceptional hospitality, and meticulous cleanliness sets this hotel apart as a true gem in Weinan. The South Anhui Taoyuan Meisha International Hotel is very convenient from the high-speed rail station. The front desk clerk is very good and patient. The room was very spacious, the room attendant was very serious and every corner was very clean. The breakfast is rich in variety, the most recommended freshly ground grain soy milk, very rich and delicious.

The room is spacious, clean, the facilities are relatively new, the service is almost a little, there is no doorman at the door to help with the luggage, you can cart yourself to the room. Ctrip searched for five stars online and pushed this one for me. I actually asked the front desk to be a four-star standard. I left the store at 7 pm and wanted to make a half-day room. The result was not enough. I said what a system problem. I had to go in a hurry at night. I ate a buffet of 75 people downstairs. It was very general. There was nothing to eat and the scallops were not fresh. In general, the hardware is still passing, and the soft convenience is very general. The price of more than 300 is like this. If it is worth recommending from the perspective of cost performance. Other hotels in Hancheng are estimated to be worse, this one is relatively new.

Very satisfactory 3 nights stay at Jinze hotel during our recent visit to Yan’an. Hotel room is clean and spacious, bed is comfortable. Very strategic location at the city centre, walkable to QingLiang Hill and the famous food street. Getting a taxi or DIDI is easy. We enjoyed the breakfast served in the hotel which comes with good variety and mostly local dishes. What impressed me most is the friendly staffs who are always enthusiastic to offer help and travel advice. The hotel in-house restaurants offer delicious food that comes with very reasonable price. Not surprisingly that we had several enjoyable meals at the hotel restaurant. The hotel staff also offered us free souvenirs when we checked out. Appreciate the kind gesture very much 😁. No doubt I would recommend this hotel to anyone who will visit Yan’an.

Enjoyed a very pleasant 4 day trip to visit the historical and revolutionary sites of Yan’an and the trip was made much better thanks to a very comfortable and convenient stay at the Wanda Realm. For anybody who plans to visit the city I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is located just to the south of the old city of Yan’an in the newly built Wanda City area. It is a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the old center (depending on traffic) and it’s relatively easy to call a taxi with a ride hailing app like Didi. It’s also within walking distance of the Red Street 红街 tourism area that has a theatre, cinema, activities, coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel is new and all of the main public areas are clean and well maintained - such as the lobby, hotel rooms, restaurant and gym/pool. The gym contains my favorite Life Fitness gym equipment (a quality brand) and the multi-lane, 25m meter pool is a dream for anyone who likes to swim. It even offers a good view. The hotel breakfast is very good value for money and offers a high quality selection of Western-style food (bread, eggs, bacon, sausages and cereals) as well as very tasty local Chinese food - especially local Yan’an/Shanxi noodles and dumplings. For any foreigners like me, you’ll get a good sense of local taste with good ingredients. The room was very clean and spacious with nice balcony and great view of the lake and Red Street. Service staff was excellent and many staff speak good English. We even received a nice hand written message and welcome fruits. Especially if you travel with children, this is where you should stay in Yan’an. Thank you for making my holiday more enjoyable.

The hotel is next to the Pagoda Mountain Scenic Area and Erdaogou Night Market, with convenient transportation and you can visit them on foot. The hotel has complete facilities, is clean and sanitary, is located in the city center, but very quiet, the service staff is friendly and enthusiastic, and the specialty shop in the lobby has a rich variety of products, which is very good! It is the best choice for travel and business in Yan'an.

There were a few staff members in the off-season. After being reminded, I saw that the order had been upgraded. I waited for more than half an hour before the room was cleaned. The view is unbeatable, and the Red Street is opposite. The hotel has a shuttle bus for free round-trip transportation.

The hotel lobby is large and magnificent, the rooms are also very spacious, desks and chairs, multi-person sofas, recliners, etc., breakfast varieties, buildings and all aspects are also newer. But some details need to be improved. From the gate to the lobby, there are no facilities to sit or put things. My room air conditioning is better than nothing. There is no small table for mobile phones next to the toilet.

The hotel is located in Yan'an New District, a bit far from the attractions. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, the facilities are very modern, the breakfast is varied and the quality is good. The hotel also sent two hot spring tickets, but unfortunately it was useless. The hotel has a large underground garage and parking is very convenient.

The floor of the room is very high, and there is no depression and atmosphere on the first floor of the visual inspection. The room is very hygienic and comfortable. National Day check-in at the front desk requires a queue for half an hour. The three front desks are very busy, but finally I found that three people are going through the formalities together. After a few hands, there is a person to check in in the future. Others are early contact and communication 😅😅. Although there are recommended guests in the queue behind to go to Block C to check in, but with a pile of luggage and children, everyone is unwilling to drag their luggage to another building. The most complained about place was the front desk feedback Trip.com Orders booked after 6 pm on the same day, and the hotel system did not find it at 9:30 pm, and it took a long time to get the room card. In addition, the worst thing is that the AC building lives. The breakfast is concentrated in Block B the next day, and the breakfast room in Block A is not open. 1,5,600 people went to the restaurant B for breakfast. Many people didn't eat fried eggs. They could eat fried eggs by themselves. In the face of many people, the management side has no plans and plans?

On the first day of the National Day holiday, I took my family to Yan'an, the Holy Land of China's Revolution. After browsing around on Ctrip, I came across Yan'an Red Star Garden International Hotel. Since there was no online rating, I booked a twin room with the attitude of giving it a try. This hotel is an independent small ravine, adjacent to the former site of the wartime No. 1 Nursery in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region. The gate is a bit unprepossessing (photo attached). Go straight along the road for 300 meters and enter the hotel area. I immediately feel very good. The entire area is clean and clean. Quiet, it can be said to be quiet in the noise. A row of national flags fluttered on the hotel fence, creating a festive atmosphere. Entering the hotel lobby, it is tall, spacious and bright, with harmonious lighting. The decoration is very elegant and high-end. Two large paintings come into view, one is ”Spring on the Yanhe River” and the other is ”River Dance”. They can only be used ”Masterpiece” description. After checking in, I entered the room. The room was also spacious, bright and clean, without any odor. The room was very well soundproofed and quiet. The room is about 40+ square meters. The bathrooms are all TOTO. They are very clean. The utensils are wiped clean without any fingerprints. The indoor furniture is all solid wood furniture and is of high quality. The bed is very big. It should be a 1.2 meter single bed. The quality of the carpet is also very high, with the hotel's logo embroidered on it. Towels, bathrobes, floor towels, and toiletries are all available. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, has a bathtub, and the consumables are fully equipped and of good quality. The corridors are also bright and tidy, and the murals are carefully selected, mainly paper-cuts from northern Shaanxi. The breakfast was very rich. The hotel said there were not many guests staying at the moment, so they arranged a time with me and the waiter delivered the breakfast to the room. The service was very considerate. In addition, the lighting in the hotel is very beautiful and unconventional, and the night view is great. There are many details that I have observed. To sum up, it is worth recommending five stars!
