"Facilities: The room size is generous, but the space isn't utilized efficiently. The entrance area feels a bit wasted, and the desk is huge. As we were on a family trip, once the sofa bed was pulled out, it was tightly wedged between the desk and the main bed. The most satisfying facilities were definitely the pool and the dry/wet saunas – perfect for relaxing at the hotel on a hot day. Cleanliness: The cleaning was very thorough, and the laundry service was also convenient. Environment: The surrounding area is modern and business-oriented, with a park and lake visible right across the street. The parking areas for shared bikes are quite strict. Service: Overall, the professionalism of the service really needs improvement. There was a mix-up with the room assigned at check-in; the sofa in the first room couldn't be opened at all. It took repeated confirmations until a housekeeper spoke with the front desk before we were finally moved to a room on the 28th floor. The new room indeed had a better view, and they also sent an extra fruit plate and called to apologize. Just as we were waiting for our car at the entrance when leaving, we witnessed a loud argument between the doorman and a delivery person."

"Huge thanks to the front desk attendant for upgrading us to a hot spring room! We were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a breathtaking view of the Yalu River and distant mountains, just like a traditional Chinese painting. Waking up early, I got to watch the stunning sunrise from the room, which really boosted my mood. The room's details were thoughtfully designed, and it was spotlessly clean. The floor-to-ceiling windows even had narrow side vents that could be opened, letting in a refreshing breeze from the river. All the staff, including the doorman, front desk, and the lovely Korean staff in the breakfast restaurant, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. For breakfast, they had options like red soup sea cucumber noodles and chicken soup abalone noodles, Swiss rolls, and fresh Dandong strawberries and blueberries. The food and fruit were all of excellent quality – definitely a great choice."

"I came to Shenyang for the Three Workshops Music Festival, and the hotel I chose this time was absolutely fantastic. Alisa, the Guest Relations Manager, helped us arrange a south-facing, sunny, and very quiet room in advance. She was also available to contact at any time if we needed anything during our stay. The room was smoke-free, and the cleaning staff did an excellent job. A big thank you to the concierge team for helping receive our packages and carefully verifying each one. I also appreciate the helpful staff at the hotel entrance who assisted with our luggage. The entire service process was thoughtful, thorough, and seamless – truly excellent. There are also many great restaurants around the hotel, but because of the hot weather, we had to order takeout and eat it back at the hotel. "I stayed for eight days and I'd like to specially commend the cleaning lady. She noticed we had a child and made sure to change our sheets and vacuum every day. I remember one day we went out for an hour, but it was too hot, so we came back to rest, only to find the room hadn't been cleaned. I thought the housekeeper hadn't told the cleaning staff, so I called the front desk to inquire. The housekeeper also said she'd coordinate the issue immediately. My husband was a bit upset then because, on one hand, the child needed to sleep, and on the other hand, we had specifically told the housekeeper we needed the room cleaned before we left. Later, when the cleaning lady arrived, she immediately said it was her fault and emphasized that she had gone for her meal, not because she was too busy. After her meal, she rushed to do a thorough cleaning, which is why she didn't clean our room immediately. The housekeeper had mentioned it to her initially, but she thought we wouldn't be back so soon. I think the cleaning lady is a responsible and accountable person who doesn't push problems onto others; she owns up to them. Therefore, I hope the hotel can commend her. She's responsible, accountable, thoughtful, and considers the guests – a truly excellent employee. And please pass on a message to her for me: from room 3702, who stayed for eight days, I wish her good health and smooth work! Also, the hotel facilities had a few minor issues, but the staff resolved them quickly. Every time I told our housekeeper, Riley, to clean the room before we left, it was only this one time it wasn't done on schedule, but Riley still resolved it quickly. Our experience at InterContinental Dalian was truly great."
