"This was by far the best part of our trip to China, this village was incredibly beautiful, we found ourselves snapping so many photos, it really was picture perfect everywhere you looked. Just to stay within the scenic area, was nice to wander around in the morning without the crowds. Sadly, because of all the rain we couldn't do the rafting which we were looking forward to. Only negative was the pool was a long way from the room, was quite a hike to get there and back. We splashed out on this one as it was quite expensive compared to everywhere else we stayed in China but was very worth it. Many thanks to Thomas who helped us with travel arrangements, one of the few hotel staff we found in China who spoke english."

"The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the unbeatable river view makes up for it! Tengwang Pavilion is right downstairs, and the night view is stunning. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, making dining very convenient. However, we still think the food at the hotel's 4th-floor restaurant is the best, especially the Three-Cup Chicken – highly recommended! We ate there twice, and the beer duck and chicken feet were also delicious~"

"Overall, this hotel offers a great ambiance, excellent service, and well-appointed room facilities. As soon as you step in, a butler is there to assist, and the environment is very photogenic. You can really enjoy a relaxed and leisurely time here. The room's furniture arrangement and even small details like the coffee cups show great taste. "The front desk service was excellent; they handled issues promptly. A staff member was very enthusiastic and even carried my luggage to the room. The room itself was nice and very clean. It's a bit of a shame I missed the night view since I checked in later, but the sunrise in the morning was beautiful. Now for the highlight: the breakfast was incredibly diverse! It featured local Nanchang specialties, porridge, noodles, various pastries, bread, drinks, coffee, and fruit. They even had a salad option for those watching their diet. Breakfast was definitely a satisfying experience. Plus, I could store my luggage for free at the front desk after checking out, which was very convenient for travel. I could enjoy my day and pick up my bags later to head to my next destination. Keep up the great work and continue to improve your service!"

"I came to Ganzhou with a specific purpose this time: to show my father the barracks where he once served. My hotel requirements weren't complicated; I just wanted a comfortable stay. Let me start with the positives. As an InterContinental hotel, the environment and facilities are excellent. Although the nearby Qili Ancient Town was quite empty, the landscaping was exceptionally well done, making for a very pleasant view on a nice day. The hotel room was also very clean. A special shout-out to the thick toilet paper – some hotels look great but miss these small details. The room service was also very responsive, so kudos for that. Now for the downsides. I couldn't log into the hotel Wi-Fi with my name and room number; I had to use a code, but there was no clear indication of this. I only found out after calling the front desk. After check-in, no one offered to help with my luggage (though some people did get help). I'm not sure if that's standard. The hotel is very large, and finding my room was a bit tricky. The soundproofing in the room was terrible, and I mean really bad! During the holiday season, there were a lot of children, and it was incredibly noisy, severely affecting my sleep. Additionally, the 88 RMB breakfast was very disappointing and completely not recommended. Overall, the hotel's service gave me the impression that they want to do a good job but just haven't found the right way."

"Shangrao Yuexi New Century Grand Hotel Kaiyuan was an absolute revelation! This Huizhou-style garden hotel, nestled at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, with its white walls, dark tiles, and quaint bridges over flowing streams, felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. The lobby, a renovated ancient house, boasts old trees and bluestone slabs everywhere, creating an incredibly serene atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and elegant, furnished with wooden pieces and equipped with smart devices. The bedding is super soft, and you get stunning mountain views right from your window. The service was impeccable; the front desk staff were very welcoming, and the shuttle bus was always available on call. Breakfast offered authentic local specialties like Qianshan hot noodles and Dengzhan Guo, which were delicious. We also got to experience Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for free, and the courtyard was perfect for photos. Overall, it's a quiet and comfortable place that perfectly blends cultural charm with a relaxing holiday vibe. Highly recommend!"

"Summary: Top-notch environment and design, but let down by lazy housekeeping and poorly maintained facilities. 🤯 I came to Jingdezhen to paint ceramics, and for the first few days, I stayed at the Hyatt Centric Taoxichuan. Then, with high expectations, I moved to this popular, photogenic guesthouse for the next two days. 🥳 The butler proactively added me on WeChat to ask for my arrival time and was there to meet me at the entrance right on schedule, helping with the check-in process. Excellent service! 👍 First, I must say this guesthouse is truly beautiful. The environment is unbeatable; every corner is a photo op. Plus, the villa area is separate from the surrounding industrial zone, making it very quiet. It really evokes a serene, pastoral feeling, like 'picking chrysanthemums by the eastern fence, enjoying the view of the southern mountains.' 🌄 However, upon entering the room, I discovered numerous issues with this guesthouse: 😟 1. The wooden structure combined with humid air meant the room had a strong musty smell. Lighting the complimentary incense helped a little. 2. For a hotel of this price point, the cleaning team failed to empty the dehumidifier's water tank before guest arrival, making it unusable until I emptied it myself. 3. The steps in both the living room and bedroom areas were not properly secured; they tilted significantly when stepped on, almost causing a fall. 4. The bathroom sink was not cleaned thoroughly, with accumulated grime that was quite disgusting. 5. The outdoor patio light was so old and poorly maintained that the lampshade exploded when I turned it on – scared the living daylights out of me! 6. The bathtub drain was broken, making it impossible to hold water, effectively rendering the soaking function useless! Such basic problems in a high-end guesthouse at this price point almost made me lose faith in the Xingshan Shiwai brand! Thankfully, after I reported the issues to the butler and manager, they took them seriously and promptly resolved them. They quickly arranged for repairs and a re-clean, offered apologies and compensation, and promised to make serious rectifications in the future. This restored my confidence in the Xingshan Shiwai brand. Thumbs up to Manager Xia! 👍 These kinds of basic maintenance and cleaning issues are unacceptable in hotels of this price range. But perhaps that's the guesthouse experience: you never know what kind of filling you'll find inside a beautiful chocolate. 😂"

"This hotel is great, with a quiet and pleasant environment and spacious, bright rooms. It's spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors, and the facilities are complete and well-maintained. Selina, one of the staff members, was enthusiastic and patient, always responding promptly to our needs. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation. Staying here made our trip very relaxing; it was a fantastic experience, highly recommended!"

"This guesthouse is nestled halfway up Wangxian Valley, surrounded by rolling green hills, with a gentle stream flowing by the entrance. The air is filled with the fresh scent of the forest, indicating a superb natural environment. The rooms feature panoramic windows, offering excellent natural light and ventilation. The entire house is meticulously cleaned daily, and the bathrooms have separate wet and dry areas. The bedding is soft and clean, and all kinds of amenities are provided. Big thanks to our housekeeper, Huanhuan! 👍👍👍👍 Huanhuan is very knowledgeable about the scenic area's day and night views. She helped us plan a relaxed itinerary based on the daily crowd and weather, and sent useful tips for parking and park entry in advance. She even shared recommendations for affordable local farm-to-table restaurants that locals frequent. Her service was thoughtful and discreet, never intruding on our rest, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the unique tranquil and healing atmosphere of the valley. In summary, fantastic! 👍👍👍"

"What truly stood out during my stay at Howard Johnson wasn't just the facilities, but the consistently warm and thoughtful service from beginning to end. Every single detail left a wonderful impression! Upon arrival at the hotel entrance, before I even had a chance to open the car door, a staff member quickly approached with a welcoming smile. They gently took my luggage and softly remarked, 'You must be tired from your journey,' which instantly melted away all my travel fatigue. The front desk attendant was incredibly patient and helpful during check-in – big thumbs up for that! Room service was also very prompt and efficient, and the shuttle drivers were excellent at time management."
