"Extremely satisfied, highly recommend staying here when visiting Wangxian Valley! The scenery is so different between day and night. The room type is very spacious and the facilities are quite new. The twin room easily accommodates four people. It's clean and bright. Staff are enthusiastic and helpful with parking, shuttle service, and check-in. They'll even carry your luggage to your room. Plus, there's a free butler service; Little Bear Butler was very attentive, answering all our questions, which was incredibly convenient. They even thoughtfully provided a bug repellent kit upon check-in."

Hotel near Wanda Plaza/Qiushui Park,Nanchang
The Shangri-La Nanchang is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Shangri-La Nanchang offers a pleasant stay in Nanchang for those traveling for business or leisure. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 8km from Nanchang Railway Station and 24km from Nanchang Changbei International Airport. In addition, Qiushui Square Metro Station is just a short walk away. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Tengwang Pavilion Cruise (Qiushui Square Pier), Music Fountain, Qiushui Square, Nanchang and Asian Bay Water Club (Nanchang Branch). In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. Guests of this Nanchang hotel can make use of the parking facilities. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"I ended up in Nanchang by chance, and when I asked DeepSeek, it recommended the Shangri-La as the best hotel in the city. However, Xiaohongshu reviews often mentioned that the service at Shangri-La wasn't particularly warm, so I booked it with some skepticism, thinking I wasn't really a fan of overly enthusiastic service anyway. Turns out, DeepSeek was right – the entire experience at Shangri-La was excellent, and the service was genuinely warm. Since I was a single mom with two kids – a teenage boy and an elementary schooler – the lovely and gentle young lady at the front desk directly arranged for us the best river-view room. She thoughtfully noted that the adult breakfast for two and executive lounge access should be adjusted for three people, and even added me on WeChat to better assist us with our specific situation. Everyone at the hotel, from top to bottom, was so kind to the children. To my surprise, both boys told me they had become friends with the staff on different floors. This was truly unexpected, and I'd give the family-friendly experience five stars. The river view was superb. You could see Tengwang Pavilion from both the room and the executive lounge, and the musical fountain at Qiushui Square could be easily enjoyed from the room. The service and cleanliness details were also excellent. I've stayed in many five-star hotels, both new and old, and I always feel that while Shangri-La rooms tend to look similar, their attention to detail and professionalism are consistently outstanding. There are so many subtle yet incredibly thoughtful little touches that are hard to describe but all contribute to respecting the customer's experience. This truly comes from years of accumulated quality and time, and I genuinely applaud it. Although the breakfast taste could still improve, the variety was rich, and the quality was high. The light meals at the Horizon Club were anything but simple and very generous every day. The red wine was also quite good. Of course, there were a few minor regrets that I hope they continue to improve: the shampoo wasn't great, the showerhead was a bit small, and due to the windows not opening in the high-floor room, there was always a persistent stuffy smell (perhaps Northerners just can't stand the humidity of the South). Nevertheless, I'm very grateful to the service center for continuously helping us find a scent-free room because of this issue – it was a bother for them, but much appreciated."

Hotel near Qili Ancient Town/Meilin Ancient Town,Ganzhou
"I came to Ganzhou with a specific purpose this time: to show my father the barracks where he once served. My hotel requirements weren't complicated; I just wanted a comfortable stay. Let me start with the positives. As an InterContinental hotel, the environment and facilities are excellent. Although the nearby Qili Ancient Town was quite empty, the landscaping was exceptionally well done, making for a very pleasant view on a nice day. The hotel room was also very clean. A special shout-out to the thick toilet paper – some hotels look great but miss these small details. The room service was also very responsive, so kudos for that. Now for the downsides. I couldn't log into the hotel Wi-Fi with my name and room number; I had to use a code, but there was no clear indication of this. I only found out after calling the front desk. After check-in, no one offered to help with my luggage (though some people did get help). I'm not sure if that's standard. The hotel is very large, and finding my room was a bit tricky. The soundproofing in the room was terrible, and I mean really bad! During the holiday season, there were a lot of children, and it was incredibly noisy, severely affecting my sleep. Additionally, the 88 RMB breakfast was very disappointing and completely not recommended. Overall, the hotel's service gave me the impression that they want to do a good job but just haven't found the right way."

"Shangrao Yuexi New Century Grand Hotel Kaiyuan was an absolute revelation! This Huizhou-style garden hotel, nestled at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, with its white walls, dark tiles, and quaint bridges over flowing streams, felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. The lobby, a renovated ancient house, boasts old trees and bluestone slabs everywhere, creating an incredibly serene atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and elegant, furnished with wooden pieces and equipped with smart devices. The bedding is super soft, and you get stunning mountain views right from your window. The service was impeccable; the front desk staff were very welcoming, and the shuttle bus was always available on call. Breakfast offered authentic local specialties like Qianshan hot noodles and Dengzhan Guo, which were delicious. We also got to experience Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for free, and the courtyard was perfect for photos. Overall, it's a quiet and comfortable place that perfectly blends cultural charm with a relaxing holiday vibe. Highly recommend!"

"Drive to the end of the road, and you'll find two peaks facing each other with a gurgling stream suddenly appearing. This is where you'll find Xing Shan Wai, Dong Li Yuan. The guesthouse's ambiance perfectly matches its name. The service is incredibly meticulous, covering every single detail. From the moment the butler added me on WeChat before check-in, it was a seamless, all-inclusive experience. They sent the address, confirmed my arrival time, arranged the shuttle, helped with luggage, and even let me choose complimentary incense during check-in. Seriously, from the moment my feet touched the ground there, I was basically surrounded by excellent service. The room had a tatami mat and a complete tea set, so my friend and I immediately sat down for tea. Halfway through, we started asking where to buy the side-handle teapot, only to discover that Xing Shan also owns a very tasteful homeware store called Xing Shan Za Ji. We then rushed to their offline store in Tao Xi Chuan to make some purchases. The meal vouchers are a thoughtful touch. You get two vouchers, and if you don't use them for breakfast, you can use them directly to offset the cost of à la carte dishes for lunch or dinner. So, we tried both breakfast and lunch, and the stir-fried dishes at the restaurant were also excellent. The guesthouse's coffee bar is located at another branch, Jie Lu, which makes Dong Li Yuan even more tranquil. It was a truly memorable stop during our travels, and I'm sure I'll be back again."

The environment was decent, and breakfast offered a good variety. Overall, the service was okay. However, the main drawback, likely due to management issues, was the poor elevator experience. Not only were there cigarette butts, but the long bench inside was covered in thick dust, as were other parts of the elevator. Upon entering the restroom, a strong smell of urine hit me. Since the room's door closer was faulty, and it was late, I decided to just deal with it and go to sleep. Around 5 AM, I was woken up by the noisy street outside. The room phone was useless, so I eventually had to call the front desk to get engineering to come fix it, which took over ten minutes. At breakfast, I had to look through more than ten cups, all of which were chipped. It was truly a very disappointing experience.

I opted for one of their newly opened rooms for this stay. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring I slept soundly right until dawn. What I particularly loved was the Huipai architectural style, with its classic white walls, dark tiled roofs, and charmingly arranged courtyards. For our family trip, we booked three twin rooms via Trip.com. As a hotel located in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage site, our stay exceeded expectations, especially for families traveling with seniors and children. Check-in and Upgrade: A Pleasant Surprise Upon arrival, the front desk service was highly professional. Although the hotel is split into two buildings, 'Sanqing Tower' and 'Yunxi Tower,' with some facilities spread across them requiring a walk through a long corridor, the check-in process was smooth. We were fortunate that all rooms booked through Trip.com received a complimentary upgrade, including several with fantastic mountain views. Waking up to such scenery truly delighted the seniors. Breakfast: A Taste of Local Flavors Breakfast at the Green Ripple All-Day Dining restaurant offered a rich variety of dishes. What stood out most was the abundance of local Shangrao, Jiangxi specialties. We enjoyed sweet kudzu root juice, sticky fried dough sticks with glutinous rice cakes (youtiao maci), unique taro dumplings, and candied fruits like dried pumpkin and sweet potato. It was a refreshing and appealing spread for the seniors. The noodle station’s freshly cooked rice noodles and wontons were also excellent, perfect for an energy boost before hiking. The restaurant environment was comfortable, and refills were prompt. Facilities: A Mix of Regret and Delight in the Mountains The hotel boasts an indoor heated spring water pool, reportedly filled with clear mountain spring water. Unfortunately, our family itinerary was packed, and we didn't have time to take the children for a swim, which was the biggest regret of our trip. Other facilities like the gym and children's playground were also well-equipped. Dinner: Highly Recommended Sanqingxuan Chinese Restaurant I highly recommend dinner at Sanqingxuan Chinese Restaurant! All the local specialties we ordered were delicious, especially the local duck and special bean products. The flavors were authentic and received unanimous praise from the whole family. For rooms without executive lounge access, this is also where you can enjoy the executive set menu, offering great value and taste. Summary The Hilton Sanqingshan Resort is ideally located, just a few minutes' walk from the Waishuangxi cable car, making it perfect for families planning to explore Sanqingshan. Although the facilities show some age due to its earlier opening, the service is excellent. Coupled with the distinctive local cuisine and generous upgrade policy, our family trip was comfortable and hassle-free. If we return, we definitely plan to experience the pool!

Facilities: The room was quite spacious, and the TV was projected onto a large screen. There was a huge balcony with a view of lush greenery. There was a swimming pool and hot spring. When we went, it was already quite warm, so we swam but didn't try the hot spring. Environment: The hotel is located halfway up a mountain, suitable for those driving, but it's centrally located in Wuyuan, so driving is quite convenient. The only problem was that there were no streetlights in the mountains, so we arrived at the hotel in the dark at night. 😂 Considering the hotel's facilities and room size, it's extremely cost-effective. Experiencing the hot spring in winter would be quite nice.

moment🫧 A blissful moment 🥣 A few days in Jingdezhen 🤍 Staying in a minimalist, 'blank canvas' space nestled in the mountains, with white walls, interplay of light and shadow, and distant mountains, sketching out the most gentle sense of ease. There's no hustle and bustle here, only a breathing-like quiet, and lazy moments enveloped in gentleness. As light and shadow shift, life slows to a leisurely pace, allowing the mountain breeze and your relaxed self to truly connect. The hotel's overall aesthetic is a minimalist white tone, so clean it's instantly captivating. Large areas of blank space paired with transparent floor-to-ceiling windows make the distant mountains and greenery the most captivating decor indoors. ☁️ Curl up on a lounge chair by the pool to sunbathe, or snuggle into a soft sofa in your room with a cold drink. Light and shadow slowly flow with time, and even the air exudes a sense of relaxation. The hotel's attention to detail really impressed me, from the simple soft furnishings in the public areas to the skin-friendly bedding in the rooms – every detail reveals thoughtful sophistication. Here, there's no need to rush; just slow down and enjoy the tranquility and healing embrace of the surrounding greenery. #ResortHotel #BoutiqueHotel #HotelReview #TravelDiary #WeekendGetaway #VacationOutfits #Jingdezhen #ResortHotel #MinimalistHotel #RelaxingGetaway #HiddenGemHotel #WeekendTrips #HighValueHotel

I stayed at Tea Sage Luxury Wilderness Villa, Wunuzhou Resort ([婺女洲度假区茶圣·奢野别墅]) during the last week of March, which was an off-peak period. It turned out to be a great time to visit because the crowds were manageable and the park did not feel too overwhelming. I would recommend checking in on a Friday or Saturday, as there are usually fireworks on those nights. It is best to confirm the schedule on the resort website before booking. One of the best parts of staying here is that the hotel booking includes free entrance to the theme park, which offers very good value. There are many things to see and do inside the park, so it is worth planning enough time to explore. I stayed in the Detached Duplex with Slide Suite. The room was very spacious and clean, and the slide added a fun touch. The villa is also very close to 抱玉塔, where the main performances and fireworks take place. However, this room type does not have a view of the fireworks or shows. Some other room types do offer those views, so it is worth asking the hotel staff at check-in if they can assign you a room with a better view. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a typical Chinese hotel buffet selection. My suggestion is to spend the first day focusing on the night shows and performances. On the second day after check-out, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and continue enjoying the theme park, including the games and NPC interactions, before heading to your next destination.
