"Before coming, I heard this was a family-friendly hotel on par with Sanya Atlantis, and after arriving, I feel it's indeed quite good.
First, regarding the hardware, the decor certainly can't compare to Atlantis, but considering it's built in a desert, the overall quality is excellent. I saw reviews before coming saying the rooms were too simple, but if you've experienced hotels in the Sahara Desert, the facilities here are truly impressive. I really like the corridor's decoration, and my child absolutely loved the mini-train.
For dining, the buffet is great. The only minor drawback is that the drinks probably aren't freshly squeezed, and they taste a bit diluted, but you can't compare the fruit here to Hainan.
The room soundproofing isn't great; you can hear the mini-train passing in the hallway. However, looking at their building structure, it's clear that reinforced concrete couldn't be used.
The biggest surprise was the sports area; all the activities were so much fun, and there were no queues. I'm honestly worried they might go out of business!
My child loved the cafe, where they could relax comfortably on various sofas and read.
All in all, the value for money is very high, and it's definitely worth recommending.
Finally, I'd like to thank the front desk lady. I told her I was a Ctrip Diamond member, and although my room wasn't upgraded, I was given a room with a great view. Many thanks for that.

The room was clean and hygienic! I've had their shaomai before and it was good, but this time I was particularly impressed by the new mutton buns at breakfast – absolutely amazing! My family really enjoyed the freshly fried dough sticks. Overall, the entire check-in process was excellent, and the hotel's location is superb! It's only about a 15-minute drive from the highway exit! Finally, a special shout-out to Avila Wang."

"I was lucky enough to check in early when I arrived at the hotel in the morning, and they even gave me complimentary welcome fruit. I was assigned a high floor with an unbeatable view – the blue sky and white clouds really brightened my mood. The breakfast was very local, with Mongolian milk tea, lamb shaomai, lamb offal soup, rose pastries, and fresh watermelon juice. I was thoroughly satisfied. The staff were also very friendly; I forgot my charger and they kindly lent me one for emergencies. You can also have food deliveries sent to your room number, and a robot will bring them up."

The family room we booked is spacious, the whole house is separated from wet and dry, equipped with smart toilets, mattresses and goose down pillows. It is especially relieved to lie on it for a day. It is also equipped with minibar drinks and complete equipment. The temperature difference between day and night on the dam is large, the room is well heated, and you sleep well at night.
There is also a large free parking lot, equipped with new energy charging piles, no pressure on tram travel, self-service laundry room with drying, and a gym, you can simply move. Guest UserTaking advantage of the May Day holiday, I spontaneously embarked on a trip without much planning, intending to decide things as I went along. My classmate's mother recommended this hotel. To find a 5-star guesthouse-level hotel at this price during May Day was truly exceptional value for money. The hotel environment is excellent; although some areas were undergoing renovation, it didn't detract from the overall guest experience. The front office manager was incredibly welcoming, asking about our travel plans and offering genuine advice, such as visiting Dazhao Temple in the evening and reminding us about the significant temperature difference between day and night, suggesting we dress warmly. On my second day, I had originally planned to go to Chilechuan and then the desert, but she advised me to visit the desert first and then Chilechuan if time permitted. I readily took her advice, and the trip turned out to be perfect. The hotel's breakfast was fantastic and highly recommended. I look forward to staying here again during the summer holidays!

Linxi127The environment is clean and tidy, and the service is warm and thoughtful. The scenery is also nice. There's free parking and a gym. There's also a kids' play area, which, although not huge, is enough to keep children entertained for half an hour.
The executive lounge is a highlight. It's pretty good for kids to have some fruit in the afternoon, play with blocks, and read picture books, while adults can sit and enjoy a drink.
The shower in the room is also a highlight; it's very practical.
I suggest adding more Mongolian elements to the decor.

Guest Userroom was clean and spacious. No complaints here. Checking in and out worked smoothly. But 2 things I have to complain about:
1) I have no idea why some people say the breakfast is great. For me and my wife it was terrible. Possibly the worst breakfast I ever had. Yes, they have a lot to offer. But somehow they make everything taste cheap and ”weird”. I ended up eating some dry bread with jam, because I couldn't eat anything else. I suspect that they don't cook by themselves, but buy some cheap readymade food and sell it as ”fresh”. Also, the breakfast still looks exactly the same as the pictures from more than 6 months ago. No change at all
2) no option to clean the clothes is ridiculous. I have no problem to pay or wash by myself but both they didn't allow me to do. I never saw this before.
All in all it's not bad. If you don't care about the breakfast and don't want to wash your clothes, this hotel might be for you. The rooms are good and the service also very nice (apart from ”you can guess” the breakfast staff)

This stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, close to a commercial district with convenient transportation. The room was well-lit and very clean, and the mattress was just right, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The thoughtful additions of a humidifier and water purifier were a nice touch. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and patient in answering questions, making check-in and check-out very efficient. The public areas were tidy and quiet, with complete facilities. It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I've already recommended it to friends.

And my exclusive butler, Molly, was incredibly thoughtful! From patiently assisting with check-in to meticulously arranging local food recommendations and sightseeing routes tailored to my preferences, nothing was overlooked. However, on the first morning, I was woken up at 9 am by the engineering department knocking on the door, and then again after 10 am when they delivered fruit and dairy products… Such a shame, especially since I'm lactose intolerant 😅😅 Well, thank you anyway, haha!

Guest Userwe bought rooms on club floor expecting to use Executive Lounge, but it was closed for personal use by the owner of the hotel. Then they should not sell club floor room. The rooms we stay also smell bad cigarettes and air condition is too warm and cannot adjust. Very bad stay. Good only the hotel restaurant, Blue Diamond Cafe, good food and good service.

helly7531Finally got to check out the famous Matryoshka Doll Hotel, and my stay far exceeded expectations! The exterior is an iconic giant matryoshka doll building; its intricate paintings truly shine in the sun. The Guinness-certified unique architecture lives up to its reputation. Stepping into the lobby was breathtaking: a 60-meter high domed ceiling, crystal chandeliers, and palatial frescoes create a grand and dreamlike atmosphere. Matryoshka elements are everywhere – in the corridors, elevators, and guest rooms, with customized cups, amenity kits, and cushions, all adding a fairy-tale touch with meticulous detail. The room was spacious and clean, with excellent hygiene. The mattress was soft, and soundproofing was good, complemented by smart amenities. There's even a cute matryoshka robot that delivers meals and guides you, which the kids absolutely loved. The staff were warm and friendly, and check-in was efficient. The stay included unlimited access to the Matryoshka scenic area, which was super convenient, and the night view with the lights was absolutely stunning.
