Hotel near Xiangshawan,Dalad Banner
The Lotus Hotel (Lotus Resort) is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Lotus Hotel (Lotus Resort) is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Dalad Banner. Dalat Railway Station is located approximately 23km away and Ordos Ejin Horo International Airport around 83km away. Famous local attractions Liansha Resort Island, Yuesha Island and Hualian Tourist Resort Ski Area, can all be reached with a short walk. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Dalad Banner hotel provides parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"We stayed at Lotus Hotel for two nights and overall had a very enjoyable experience. The biggest highlight is definitely the location. The hotel is set in the middle of the desert, making it a unique and memorable destination. Reaching the resort is part of the adventure: you first take a cable car, then transfer to a jeep shuttle that brings you directly to the hotel. The hotel staff can transport your luggage for you, although it may take up to two hours before it arrives in your room. The reception area is warm and welcoming. The staff explain how the resort is organized and help guests understand the various facilities. Since the property is very large, transportation within the resort is well organized. The guest rooms are spread across different rings, and in the lower ring you can call a small train that picks you up and takes you directly to your room, which is very convenient given the long walking distances. The same service is available when returning. The hotel offers plenty of facilities for both adults and children. Near the entrance there is a buffet area, while the ground floor features several recreational spaces, including an ice-skating rink, game rooms with billiards, archery, and other activities. Outside, there is a large shaded sand play area for children with staff members available to supervise and entertain them. Throughout the resort there are also shuttle trains that can pick you up if you prefer not to walk. In the evening there are live entertainment shows, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The main dining hall is spacious, the food is good, and everything is included. There is also a hot pot restaurant on the first floor if you want an alternative dining experience. One of the most beautiful parts of the stay is the outdoor entertainment park at night. Guests walk through the desert on a beautifully illuminated wooden walkway while enjoying performances, shows, balloons, and activities for children. The evening temperatures are very pleasant, especially during summer, making it a fantastic experience. The exterior entertainment park includes many complimentary activities, such as VIP camel riding, guided off-road rides, zip lines, and a water park. Transportation between the hotel and the park is free and very efficient, with buses, themed boats, small trains, and other fun vehicles. You can easily spend one or even two days here. Most of the main activities can be experienced in one day, but there is enough to keep you entertained longer. The staff are always friendly and eager to help, and there are many employees throughout the resort. However, most of them are very young and sometimes lack experience, resulting in avoidable mistakes. Additional training would certainly improve the overall service. Another significant drawback is the language barrier. Very few staff members speak English, and during our two-night stay we found only one person who could communicate sufficiently. The room itself is simple and quite small, but that's not really the focus of this type of resort since you'll spend most of your time enjoying the activities outside. If you're looking to relax in your room, this may not be the ideal place. The bathroom definitely needs renovation. The shower was disappointing, and when we entered the room there was an unpleasant pee smell that suggested cleaning standards could be improved. Overall, the room was acceptable, but for the price I expected better housekeeping and maintenance. Despite these shortcomings, the incredible location, the wide variety of activities, and the overall experience make Lotus Hotel a destination worth visiting. I would definitely come back, probably for one night rather than two, simply because most attractions can be enjoyed in a full day. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique desert resort experience."

"Traveling with family, we booked a suite and it was incredibly spacious, with two bathrooms which was very convenient. There was also a separate living area. Although it's an older five-star hotel (some prefer modern design, but I lean towards classic styles), the facilities are still very well-maintained and up-to-date. The service was exceptional, from the doorman at the entrance, to the front desk during check-in, and even at the restaurant – everyone provided warm and enthusiastic service. Because the Executive Lounge was undergoing renovations, the hotel generously upgraded the Executive benefits to a buffet dinner, which was a very classy move. The restaurant service was excellent, and the variety of food was impressive. A special thank you to Assistant Director Song from the F&B department for their warm and thoughtful service. Also, a shout-out to the chef who makes the shumai for breakfast – it was delicious! And the Inner Mongolian milk tea was fantastic!"

"Stepping into the hotel, I was immediately struck by its stunning ethnic aesthetic. The lobby boasts an impressive twenty-meter high ceiling, adorned with a massive mural depicting nomadic life on the grasslands, truly grand and awe-inspiring. The hotel is located in the heart of Hailar District (No. 23 Shengli Street, under the Central Bridge on the east bank of the Yimin River), offering convenient transportation and panoramic views of the cityscape and riverside scenery. The 11-story building features smart rooms throughout, with its star room types being the "Aurui View Rooms" and "Themed Family Rooms," catering to both business and family travel needs. The design ingeniously blends the cultural essence of the Mongol Yuan Dynasty with modern European styles, creating a unique aesthetic experience. Aurui Breakfast Restaurant (1st floor): Serves a fusion buffet breakfast with Western Mongolian flavors to kickstart your day. The outdoor courtyard on the first floor hosts the Aurui Concert every night at 8 PM, a must-visit spot for tea, relaxation, and photo opportunities. Amenities include a 24-hour self-service laundry, gym, and multifunctional reception hall, ensuring convenience and peace of mind. Thoughtful details are evident throughout.

"Six months later, I returned to the Airen Wenhua Hotel, and the experience was as warm and welcoming as ever. After finishing my business that day, I drove over 300 kilometers back to Hailar and checked into the Airen Wenhua Hotel. It was pouring rain, and I was dusty and tired from the journey, burdened with heavy luggage. After such a long drive, it's easy to feel mentally exhausted and flustered. The moment I arrived at the hotel, I was deeply touched by the warm service. The doorman proactively stepped forward to open the door and thoughtfully helped with my luggage. The room manager, along with the service team and interns, gently and meticulously assisted with the check-in process. They even remembered me as a returning guest and treated me with extra care. Knowing I had a lot of luggage, the staff helped me all the way to my room, ensuring I was comfortably settled, truly embodying what 'feeling at home' means. The entire check-in process was efficient and smooth, calm and orderly throughout, without delaying my itinerary or causing any rush. The hotel room's environment and cleanliness were outstanding as always. The bedding was clean and soft, and the hot water flowed quickly with ample pressure, providing an excellent experience for those who love to shower. The overall living comfort was exceptional. The quality of the hotel's breakfast was consistently excellent, with the signature roasted lamb leg having an authentic flavor (especially the high-quality chive flowers). My taste buds truly enjoyed the local specialties. This year, they've even added an executive lounge afternoon tea service, with exquisite and delicious small cakes that bring joy. The view from the executive floor window is expansive. This time, I happened to experience Hailar's rare spring hailstorm. The wind howled and rain and hail mixed outside the window, but inside, I felt warm and secure, quietly appreciating the outdoor scenery – a truly therapeutic atmosphere. The hotel offers exceptional value for money. Its management system is well-established, and the service team is highly professional. During meal times at the restaurant, the hotel's excellent manager personally oversaw operations, meticulously observing guests' dining experiences and the quality of the food. He warmly welcomed every guest, with thoughtful details visible everywhere. In the evenings and mornings, I took leisurely strolls in the nearby Yimin River Riverside Park (just downstairs), enjoying the tranquil scenery of this northern city. Amidst the hustle and bustle of travel, this hotel serves as a stable and healing haven, my most reassuring resting stop on my trips to and from Hailar. The overall experience is perfect, and I wholeheartedly give it a five-star rating. Hailar city isn't large, so getting around by taxi from this hotel is very convenient (via Didi). Most destinations are just a starting fare away. You can easily go to various places to sample Hailar's specialty foods, such as Luburi Russian cuisine, Junxiangyuan hot pot lamb, Yonglan pies, Zhaoxingjia large-slice grilled meat, Nuomintala pot tea, and more. The downstairs parking lot is very convenient, making it car-friendly."

"Have to give a low score for cleanliness due to people smoking throughout the building. The worst was at their buffet dinner which I would advise you join only if you’re a middle age man who wants to drink and smoke. Seems to cater primarily to business, not families. Don’t know why they bother with family style rooms. The room was quite nice apart from the sofa bed which kept collapsing and the very poor AC which made sLocation is good. Nice parks nearby."

We stayed at Lotus Hotel for two nights and overall had a very enjoyable experience. The biggest highlight is definitely the location. Taking advantage of the May Day holiday, I spontaneously embarked on a trip without much planning, intending to decide things as I went along. My classmate's mother recommended this hotel. To find a 5-star guesthouse-level hotel at this price during May Day was truly exceptional value for money. The hotel environment is excellent; although some areas were undergoing renovation, it didn't detract from the overall guest experience. The front office manager was incredibly welcoming, asking about our travel plans and offering genuine advice, such as visiting Dazhao Temple in the evening and reminding us about the significant temperature difference between day and night, suggesting we dress warmly. On my second day, I had originally planned to go to Chilechuan and then the desert, but she advised me to visit the desert first and then Chilechuan if time permitted. I readily took her advice, and the trip turned out to be perfect. The hotel's breakfast was fantastic and highly recommended. I look forward to staying here again during the summer holidays!

The room isn't very big, and the facilities are average, but the view of the stadium outside the window is quite nice. The Executive Lounge dinner was excellent, especially the red velvet cake, which was delicious, and the sticky rice strips were very authentic. Breakfast was abundant, with particularly tasty lamb shaomai and delicious purple rice porridge. I really liked the hot milk and soy milk from the large pot. I also surprisingly discovered that the plain whole wheat toast was incredibly good when toasted – the quality of the bread overall was great. The S-shaped staircase and circular pool in the lobby are beautiful, and there are two yurts set up for photos. The elevator area is very elegant, though the glass around the buttons easily gets fingerprints, which detracts from its appearance; I'd suggest more frequent cleaning. I was initially upset when someone cut in line during check-in, but thankfully a wonderful manager promptly assisted me, and I'm very grateful – she was professional, stylish, and highly competent. However, some staff at the front desk and in housekeeping seemed a bit green and inexperienced.

room was clean and spacious. No complaints here. Checking in and out worked smoothly. But 2 things I have to complain about: 1) I have no idea why some people say the breakfast is great. For me and my wife it was terrible. Possibly the worst breakfast I ever had. Yes, they have a lot to offer. But somehow they make everything taste cheap and ”weird”. I ended up eating some dry bread with jam, because I couldn't eat anything else. I suspect that they don't cook by themselves, but buy some cheap readymade food and sell it as ”fresh”. Also, the breakfast still looks exactly the same as the pictures from more than 6 months ago. No change at all 2) no option to clean the clothes is ridiculous. I have no problem to pay or wash by myself but both they didn't allow me to do. I never saw this before. All in all it's not bad. If you don't care about the breakfast and don't want to wash your clothes, this hotel might be for you. The rooms are good and the service also very nice (apart from ”you can guess” the breakfast staff)

My recent stay at the Howard Johnson Plaza Erdos (Civic Center Branch) for my trip to Ordos far exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it. The hotel is conveniently located near the Civic Center, making it easy to get around for appointments. The surrounding area is quiet and clean, offering a peaceful retreat in the midst of the city, ensuring a good night's sleep. The lobby boasts an elegant and grand design, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, the process was efficient and smooth. Any requests were handled promptly, which made for a very comfortable experience. The room itself was spacious and well-designed, with good natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, leading to an excellent night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, with stable hot water and a full range of toiletries. The facilities were well-maintained; the air conditioning and internet worked perfectly, showing great attention to detail. The breakfast spread was extensive, a mix of Chinese and Western options, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors, catering to various tastes. The hotel as a whole was spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing was excellent. The value for money is top-notch in the area. It's an ideal choice for both business travelers and families. The service, environment, and comfort all met my satisfaction, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Ordos.
