"Overall, my stay was fantastic. Check-in was efficient and the front desk staff were very friendly, even offering us a room upgrade. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was good, so I had a really peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, strong water pressure, and a full range of amenities. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, including hot dishes, fruits, and local specialties, all of which tasted great. The hotel's location is convenient, with plenty of amenities nearby. The service was attentive, it's close to Tianmen Mountain, and there's parking available. I would definitely choose to stay here again."

"Manxin was the third boutique hotel I chose for my trip to Hunan. It's located in a village nestled in the mountains. The owner leased nearly a hundred acres of land to create the idyllic farm he envisioned. Several two-story buildings are artfully scattered amidst rice paddies and lotus ponds. An infinity pool offers unparalleled views of the distant mountains. The rice seedlings have just been planted, and in a few months, one can truly experience the scene described by Xin Qiji: 'A bountiful harvest is spoken of amidst the fragrance of rice flowers, as the croaking of frogs fills the air.' **Environment:** The hotel's environment is exceptional. Surrounded by distant mountains, perched on a gentle slope, every room offers expansive views of lush greenery. The rice fields are close by, and at night, the sound of frogs fills the air. Each room boasts a large balcony. Sitting there, breathing in the fresh mountain air, sipping a cup of tea or coffee, time seems to slow down. **Hygiene:** The hotel's hygiene is top-notch. Despite being surrounded by farmland, there are surprisingly no mosquitoes or other insects in the rooms, which is quite rare. **Facilities:** As a meticulously crafted guesthouse, it offers all the amenities of a high-end hotel, especially the infinity pool with its unbeatable mountain views – truly an inspired touch. Of course, as a 'wild luxury' (my own definition) hotel, to encourage guests to truly reconnect with nature, the rooms intentionally lack televisions. This thoughtful decision is commendable! **Service:** Being far from the city, service is particularly important for guests. The hotel provides dedicated butlers who promptly address guests' questions and requests. Their efficiency is high, usually responding to guests almost immediately. The hotel offers complimentary airport/train station transfers, as well as unlimited complimentary transfers to the Zimu Pass (middle gate) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is incredibly helpful for guests. **In summary:** This is a uniquely positioned hotel. For travelers who love nature, appreciate peace and a slower pace, and have high standards for hotel quality, this hotel is definitely worth a short stay. **Final Suggestion:** Given its rural location, its own farmland, and the fact that it raises poultry and bees, the hotel should further leverage its unique advantages in terms of ingredients and cuisine. It could also appropriately guide local farmers to cultivate organic vegetables, fruits, and various eco-friendly produce, making a beneficial contribution to rural revitalization. I believe some guests would appreciate this."

"I had an excellent stay at this hotel—definitely one of my better hotel experiences. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Lily, who gave me lots of useful advice on getting around, places to visit, and things to do during my stay. The room was modern, comfortable, and equipped with a lot of smart technology, which really added to the overall experience. The entire property was clean and quiet, making it a very comfortable place to return to after a day of exploring. My only suggestion would be to make a few improvements to the cardio equipment in the gym. Aside from that minor point, everything was excellent. Overall, I had a great stay and would highly recommend this property. I would happily stay here again."

Perched high up in the IFS building, located in the bustling Wuyi Square, yet it manages to create a secluded oasis. Entering through the fourth-floor courtyard, you’re instantly shielded from the outside noise. The cloud-level lobby on the 62nd floor incorporates art installations inspired by Xiang embroidery and Liuyang fireworks into the space. There's no exaggerated display, but rather a warm, understated, and well-thought-out mansion-style design that perfectly blends Hunan's local aesthetics with Park Hyatt's discreet luxury philosophy. All guest rooms are located above the 54th floor, offering expansive floor-to-ceiling windows with direct views of the Xiang River and city skyline. Double-glazed windows completely block out the city's hustle and bustle. The bedding, bathroom amenities, and minibar offerings are all excellent. The turndown service is meticulously detailed, never intrusive, yet always making you feel well cared for. The biggest surprise was undoubtedly Restaurant Leela. As the hotel's main dining establishment, it completely shatters the stereotype of high-end hotel restaurants being all looks and no taste. Its culinary approach, blending Hunan and Cantonese cuisines, not only retains the rustic flavors of Hunan but also refines them exquisitely, resulting in outstanding and well-balanced tastes. Dining with floor-to-ceiling windows offers panoramic views of the Xiang River and the entire city, providing a dual feast for both taste and sight. Whether it’s for a formal meal or a casual gathering, the food, environment, and ambiance all stand up to scrutiny, making it a huge plus for the hotel. The service is another major highlight of this hotel. There's no overly solicitous routine; the staff strikes just the right balance. Check-in, inquiries, and requests are all handled efficiently and appropriately. From the concierge to the room and restaurant staff, their attitude is humble and professional, with service stemming from genuine thoughtfulness rather than robotic adherence to procedures. Among hotels in the same luxury tier, its value for money is truly outstanding. The hardware specifications, dining quality, and service level perfectly match its pricing, without any inflated premium. "I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie. It's a younger brand under Sheraton, and the rooms are fantastic! First, let's talk about the service – it's much better than a certain other hotel (I had originally booked with them, but they told me on the day that they couldn't upgrade my room, so I promptly canceled and switched to Four Points by Sheraton). This was absolutely the right choice! As soon as I entered the lobby, the staff greeted us. Since it's not peak season, I asked if they could upgrade us, and the hotel readily agreed without any fuss. They didn't even ask me to write a good review; this review is completely voluntary. **Location:** It's about 700-800 meters from 'Charming Xiangxi' and the East Gate of Wulingyuan. You can walk if you have time, or a taxi ride is only about 6 yuan. It's not on the main street, so it's away from the commercial area and not noisy. The hotel is located right at the foot of the mountain, very secluded and peaceful, which I personally love. **Room:** The room has a beautiful floor-to-ceiling window! The room door is a wooden, hidden-style door, very elegant. The sound of unlocking the door is very quiet, and closing it is also very soft. You won't hear any heavy door slams, and the room's soundproofing is excellent. You can't hear any outside noise at all. The bathroom space is ample, and the water temperature is just right. **Breakfast:** The food tastes good, and the variety is quite rich. There were many foreign guests during my stay, and the combination of Chinese and Western dishes was well-balanced. The breakfast area is beautifully decorated, which I really liked. The cleaning staff we encountered were all friendly, greeting us warmly, asking if our room needed cleaning, and saying hello whenever we came and went. "After 3 years, I'm back in Changsha and chose the same hotel. Not just for the Xiangjiang River view balcony king room, but because the memories from three years ago are still so vivid. This time I didn't book an executive room, looks like my spending power has gone down, haha, but the staff we encountered still made us feel the InterContinental charm. Ola checked us in at the front desk, accurately and quickly. I wasn't sure about extending my stay, so Ola added me on WeChat, saying I could contact her anytime with questions. The next day, when I decided to extend, she was off but still replied promptly to my WeChat. She enthusiastically told me about the hotel's surroundings and room facilities, and then, within reason, helped me get a late checkout and even reserved mooncakes for me according to hotel policy 🥮.
