New hotel with good staff We chose to stay at this hotel because it is a new hotel and very near to Tianmen Mountain CableWay station, just 10 minutes by walk. The front office staff, a young guy at day shift and the others at night shift (sorry we did not know your name), these 2 staff are very helpful. The male at the dayshift gives us directions on how to get to the station and the male at night shift helps us change rooms because the first room is smoke-smelt, we can not stand with that, to the other clean room. There is a lot of local food surrounding, also minimarket and shops. The room was spacious with a nice view of cable cars up and down from/to station. Although the hotel is at the busy street, but the soundproof quality is good. We can sleep tight without any disturbing noise. The breakfast menu is also well proper with variant cuisine.

The staff were very efficient at check in which is not always the case within China, they photographed our IDs quickly to register us and gave us our room key. All of the rooms are very quirky and different which is a nice added feature (a nice suprise as to what you will get).

A fabulous choice at zhangjiajie. Situated in the beautiful town of Wulingyuan, this is a clean and spacious hotel with the national forest gate just about 15 minutes by foot. There are tonnes of restaurants, bakeries, grocery shops around. The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, well lit and spacious, breakfast has everything from fruits to noodles, eggs, tea, milk and coffee. They also provide freebies like unlimited water, cold drinks, juices, cookies, coffee and ice creams in the lobby 24x7. Special mention for our superstar Miumiu for arranging all our tickets for the excursions and providing helpful tips. She was always there to help. We appreciate the assistance and would certainly love to come back.

This hotel is fantastic, cannot ask for any better. Room is nice and clean. It's also new hotel!! Location is SUPER cool as it's closed to station to Wulingshan mountains and also near Tienmen Mountain cableway!!! Restaurant, Pharmacy and supermarkets are all around! Service is A..M...A..Z..I..N..G!!! I love how the hotel presenting new young generation Chinese who comes with full hospitality, service-minded and go above and beyond!! Xiao Zhou and his other colleagues, helped us since Day 1 on many recommendations eg: restaurant, bus station, bus number even offering to help teaching how to operate their free of charge self-service laundry machine at night. He also helped to order some cream which I really needed and not available on supermarket nearby! We are highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore the town and the mountains yourself

It’s conveniently located next to Huangxing Street, only 5-10min walk away. The location is also central to almost all of the famous streets. Very good 5star hotel , rooms are big.

The room is really nice and comfy. The breakfast is very delicious with lots of options. The swimming pool has a sauna and steam room. I think the location in Changsha is very good because it is not too busy during the national holiday and it is close to Changshanan station. You can get anywhere in the city you want very quickly and there is a metro station beside the hotel. There are a lot of staff here who are very helpful and speak English very well ~ Stacy is very nice at the front desk.

Hotel is on top of a fancy mall and near very popular shopping district, great location. Hotel is very new inside. it actually still had new renovation/construction smell when I stayed… A few points I noticed: - ventilation was not very good in the shower and bathroom, room AC was a little weak and noisy. - Bed was clean and comfortable - great and very effective blackout curtains. - good and modern in room amenities - a little bit strange layout - nice clean gym - nice staff - spacious room - Despite of the constant noise and traffic downstairs, it was very quiet on the 15th floor! (Except AC noise…) Cleanliness, convenience,service are important to me, I will stay here again next time I visit!

This is a glorified 4 star hotel. Other than the location, you will be disappointed with the overall hotel experience. It lacks the attention to detail to be a true 5 star hotel experience. A couple of examples; non-smoking rooms being ruined by smokers, the rainforest shower (top mounted shower head) didn’t work and was just an unpleasant drizzle, air-conditioning that just had a mind of its own with no ability to adjust to desired temperature, the bed being somehow both firm and soft. If you are accustomed to chain hotels, then the attention to detail at the Niccolo is missing!

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed so far in China. The services are super good and professional. 小贺was the girl who checked us in and she was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great! If you have never been in a Chinese hotel breakfast, it’s not like anything in the US. YANNIAN has literally all options for you - Chinese traditional, western style, and even Hunan authentic style. We had the family room and our 4 years old loved it! Everything is just perfect for us! The afternoon tea is super nice, quiet and relaxing. You can sit on the couch and watch the entire city on the 26th floor. Also, the gym, my husband checked out the gym and it was good too! Highly recommend this hotel. But if you want to go to Wuyi Square, this place is pretty far. YANNIAN is close to the Changsha South train station. They have free train station pickup/drop off services. The driver was also really professional and good.

The hotel as a whole makes people feel comfortable and warm. The service center team is great. The service center's Xiaoyuer Yancy and Lucky provide timely service and warmly wish my mother a happy birthday. The guest manager also specially helped to prepare a birthday cake. In addition, the lobby on the 35th floor of the hotel is also very beautiful. I slept very comfortably for 3 nights. I will choose to stay here next time I come to Changsha~

The hotel itself is very modern and well kept, the rooms are spacious. Staff service is excellent. Location is not so bad either. There's a lot of options for breakfast but unfortunately, none of them tasted good. While I was there in Apr, they also shut off the air conditioning during the day (they state that they do this in their fine print). I complained and they did turn it on for me for the last day I was there.

Very warming and welcoming place! Everyone is ready to help even if we had language barrier they did there best to communicate! And there is a lot more here you can even have a hot water pedicure kinda thing in your room for soaking your feet and so much more items which you can have. There is nothing to worry about. And the ambience is just so modern yet close to nature loved it! Love from India 🥰

The best choice for staying in a hotel with my girlfriend in Changsha. I saw that this hotel is on the design list, and it is relatively high, and the price is relatively moderate, so I chose this hotel. I have to say, I have to praise it. Service: First of all, the front desk staff Xiao Xu butler contacted me the day before check-in, and sent the location and route map! There is a response to everything, and everything is settled. Facilities: The hotel has washing machines, dryers, and gyms, and the toilets in the rooms are also automatic. I like their large-screen TVs very much. You can turn off the lights, air conditioners, and curtains by calling Xiao T Xiao T. I also asked why it is called Xiao T, and people told me that it is because it is TCL, hahahaha. Environment: Wuyi Avenue is welcoming the New Year, and the road is being renovated. It can be seen that Changsha pays a lot of attention to foreign tourists. The lobby is very large, with a coffee bar and a restaurant. I like their lighting atmosphere. Location: Needless to say, the CBD in the CBD, 100 meters from Exit 5 of Wuyi Square, there is Wuyi Avenue in front, IFS Guojin Center in the back, Wuyi Square on the left, and Furong Square. The hotel is located near the park entrance, Charming Xiangxi show and Wulingyuan city center. The hotel has a large selection of Chinese and Western food for its breakfast hotel. The room we received was large and spacious. Although the hotel is supposed to be non smoking, we found smoke smell entering our room. After we informed the front desk, they promptly arranged another room for us. Thanks to their service we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is conveniently situated walking distance from the cable car, close to the railway station and the airport. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was nourishing and essential to the good start of our long mountain trips. We especially enjoyed the café near the front desk. While staying there, I recommend you to visit the 72 wonders house in Zhangjiajie - a folk type food and crafts place. We went on a Sunday, there was like a closing party and we had the best of times. 

I booked this hotel for my mom since my husband and I stayed there a few years ago and had an amazing experience. However, she said that no one would speak to her in any English (when we were there, everyone was very helpful and the manager was foreign). She also had a bad experience with a massage she booked. She thought she could charge it to the room, but the woman demanded cash, then once she paid, wouldn’t let her out of the room until she gave an extra tip. Apparently that was the only word she said in English the whole time. I’ve never been expected to tip in China, so this seems like they’re taking advantage of foreign guests who may not know better. The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of the national park, but the concierge tried to get her to take a taxi for way too much to a different gate. Luckily, she called me to ask if that was worth it and I told her, “no, don’t take a ¥50 taxi to another gate when you’re less than 1km from one of the main gates.” It just made her start to feel uncomfortable that everyone in the hotel was trying to trick her. It’s a shame because the hotel is lovely and the breakfast is actually quite good, which my mom said is still the case. But she had a very mixed experience where the hotel was great, but the staff didn’t make her feel well taken care of. Very different from my husband’s and my experience a few years ago.

Pros : Good location, about 1 km from Meili Xiangxi theatre. And 1 km to entrance to see Tianzishan in YuanjiaJie. Surrounding good selection of restaurants and shops. Good quality food where the locals go to. Not the mania like the other side of town which is close to Tianmenshan cable car entrance. Hotel is newly renovated and well maintained. Carpet is clean. Good breakfast spread. Reception staff Ms. Lily was very helpful. Thank you for thoughtful gift of local tea. Cons :  I wish the hotel provided shoe horn in the room to help put in shoes.

The room service was enthusiastic and cleaned every day for three days. Breakfast can also be enjoyed in the executive lounge on the tenth floor. The dining environment is quieter and the variety is more diverse. It is also close to the Tianmen Mountain Cableway. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Our trip to Zhangjiajie couldn’t have been better! This hotel is a few minutes walking distance away from a secondary (non crowded!) entrance to the National Park. The view from the pool is facing the National Park too, which couldn’t be more beautiful. Same goes for the surroundings as the area is super calm, you can relax indeed. The restaurant serves good typical food (we highly recommend the sea bass fish - both versions). The breakfast is acceptable with a mix of asian western (although mostly Asian you can find such things as yogurt, croissants, butter and bread). The hotel could be improved in minor details, which we passed on to the team. But these won’t make your experience bad in anyway. What made our stay one of the best in this big China trip was our hostess named Fan! ＜3 She was always available for us, did the impossible to find anything we needed and surprised us all the time. She carefully planned all our itineraries for all the attractions, never forgot a single request and spoke English better than anyone else in the Team. She was 6 out of 5*. ;) Don’t miss Jojo, the beautiful and cute cat belonging to the hotel. :) Our room also included a transfer which we used to the airport by the end of the stay, driving us in time to our flight. We hope to be back one day. :)

We recently stayed at the villa for three nights over CNY and it exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The excellent breakfast provided a delightful start to each day, and the staff's kindness added a warm touch to the overall experience. The pick-up service from 張大哥was convenient, and the transportation options were reasonable. The room offered a breathtaking view, providing a serene atmosphere. Privacy was well-maintained, creating a peaceful and exclusive environment. The jacuzzi was a highlight, offering a relaxing escape. The cleanliness of both the room and bathroom was impeccable, contributing to a comfortable stay. Overall, this villa provides a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and thoughtful amenities for a memorable getaway.

The hotel is close to the Fog bridge in the Fenghuang ancient city. My room has the river view and two balconies, which is excellent for night view of the city. The room is spacious enough for four adults, but needs to share for one bathroom. The breakfast buffet only offered a simple Chinese breakfast with limited varieties. The hotel room was quiet at night time. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. The restaurant was excellent and offered authentic Hunan style food. Overall, this hotel experience was excellent.

The hotel is very good with a nice big clean room. It provides shuttle bus service every hour between 7:30 am to 14:30 pm from hotel to train station. But no pick up service. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The problem is its location. Me and my friend arrived at train station after 6pm. There is no taxi waiting for you. We waited for 30 minutes and finally shared the taxi with another 2 people. After checking in , we had problem to find a taxi to go to the center of ancient town. Although the staff helped us to call the taxi , it took about 45 minutes for the taxi to arrive. If you can have enough time or you have car, I recommend you to stay here. Otherwise, I suggest you to stay in the center of town.

Excellent location and service. The hotel was just a stone’s throw away from the main entrance of Furong town. There was also a supermarket right next to the hotel and a fast foot outlet. Service was good as well as there’s the option to arrange for free transport to and fro. For example, from the high speed rail station to the hotel. It can be difficult to contact the hotel for this so if possible, message the hotel for their WeChat to arrange for transport in advance. The room was very zen like and calming. It was also a good place to just chill! Breakfast was also good and had variety. Would recommend.

Really nicely decorated hotel. Id say one of the best hotels in this region. Given only four stars as our room was quite strong with cigarette smell. We informed the staff about it and they said they would send someone to fix it. I think what they did was just opening the window which made it worse as the cigarette smell was stronger when we came back possibly because we were on the second floor and someone was smoking outside. We didnt bother to tell them again as it was late and we just wanted to sleep. There was also some sticky stain on the floor that we asked them to clean it but it was still there when we came back. Staff very friendly. A tea set is also provided.

Welcome fruits: I feel that the hotel is very considerate. I saw the fruits prepared as soon as I checked in. Service: The service was super good. Xiao Wang and Xiao Zhao received us that day, and they were very proactive in helping us contact the driver to pick us up. Other staff were very professional and enthusiastic. There was a young lady who poured us tea while we were waiting for the bus. When we left, the little brother helped us carry our luggage to the bus. Facilities: The hotel facilities are also very new and the stay is very comfortable. The hotel breakfast is also very rich

A very beautiful hotel with lovely styled rooms and very helpful staff. Manager Wang's service was excellent. We had a language barrier but they still managed to arrange a pick-up and drop off to the high speed railway. The hotel is in a great location with a view of Fenghuang bridge from the room balcony. Unfortunately it is true what other reviewers say about the bathroom being poorly designed. Rather than a shower, it is a bath tub with a retractable shower head and water gets everywhere if you try to use it as a standing shower. It is also true that the noise from the streets, particularly the music from the bar next door, is very loud at night, but it stops at 23:30. However, we found these to be minor inconveniences in our stay, which was overall very romantic and hugely positive. We'd recommend this hotel to everyone.

Seek truth from facts and say one thing at a time. 1 The biggest feature is that the breakfast is great, rich in content, tastes good, and the environment is also very good. 2 The external environment of the hotel is very good. 3. The swimming pool experience is very poor. It gives the impression that the tenants are here to mop themselves up. There is no locker, no slippers, shampoo and shower gel. If you want a locker, you need to add 20 yuan. 4 The room experience was poor. (1) The door was insured after leaving the room and could not be opened. I went to the front desk and was told that it was insured by us (how could it be insured if there was no one in the room?). I could only ask the engineering department for repairs. In the end, the front desk refused to accept the insurance. admit. (2) The air conditioner could not be ”adjusted” and was extremely hot. I called the engineering department for inspection and maintenance. They said that the ventilation switch was turned off. After turning it on, it broke again after a period of time until I left.

Given the name of a big hotel, it seems to have the scale of a big hotel, but in fact it is only equivalent to the management level of a B&B. When we checked in that night, we asked the front desk staff if there was heating equipment and told us that there was heating. After we checked in, we found out that this room with a fixed price of 579 per standard room at the front desk had heating only that night, and the boiler boiler was off work at other times. Yes, no heating. After getting out of bed in the morning, I realized what the lack of heating in the local temperature of three degrees above zero meant to northerners. After hastily washing up, I ran to the restaurant as quickly as possible. Unexpectedly, the restaurant was even colder. The food except fried eggs and noodles cooked in the open stall. It was all cold. I didn’t like to eat noodles, so I had to eat two eggs. We made a phone call before and said that after staying at the hotel, the hotel had a shuttle bus to Fenghuang Ancient City. After we checked in, the service staff told us that the car was broken down and had to be repaired at the factory. In the morning, I turned left from the hotel and drove for about a minute. I saw a sign for a funeral parlor in front of me. I didn't expect that the location of the hotel was so special.
