"Having stayed in many luxury hotels, what truly sets them apart in the end is the service. This time, my family and I had a wonderful experience at the Sofitel Guiyang Hunter, largely thanks to Janice from Guest Relations. Her meticulous care and thoughtful arrangements elevated our stay in Guiyang to another level. The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to attractions like Minsheng Road and Jiaxiu Tower. Our Opulence Suite was well-equipped with high-quality amenities, offering comfort and convenience. Even more impressively, we had a direct panoramic view of Jiaxiu Tower's nightscape from high above, which was a fantastic experience. Furthermore, the hotel's breakfast buffet was a delightful surprise. It featured many Guizhou specialties. The beef noodles were unexpectedly delicious; each of my family members enjoyed a big bowl. There were also local treats like tofu balls and potato chips, showing the hotel's dedication. Upon departure, Valtét, the concierge in the lobby, proactively and enthusiastically offered a lot of help. He contacted our chartered driver and even pushed our luggage to the parking lot to meet the car, making both our check-in and check-out seamless. Guiyang is a city worth revisiting for its experiences and gourmet food. And the exceptional service from Janice and Valtét solidifies my decision to choose Sofitel Guiyang Hunter again on my next visit."

"The price was very high and the service was mediocre. I've stayed in many hotels like this... The only advantage of choosing this one was its proximity to the Grand Waterfall... but they only drop you off at the entrance. For all other attractions, you have to take the shuttle bus back and forth. We exited the Grand Waterfall at the wrong place and asked if they could pick us up, even though it was less than 200 meters away. They refused, saying the shuttle bus couldn't leave the designated route, etc. Is there no other car besides the shuttle? Breakfast ends at 10 AM, and I personally think it should be extended by half an hour, especially since the nearby attractions require at least two hours of walking. You'll be exhausted when you return to the hotel... The temperature in the hotel's hot spring pools varied greatly, with some feeling like cold water... and they weren't very clean either... This hotel is quite old... I recommend a renovation."

"I highly recommend Luanxi Yunshe! The service at this hotel is truly meticulous and thoughtful; any request is responded to and coordinated immediately. The staff, both young men and women, are incredibly enthusiastic, proactively helping with luggage. The afternoon tea is also a lovely touch. The biggest surprise is the excellent viewing location – no need to jostle for space at the observation deck; you can take in the panoramic view of Qianhu Miao Village from the hotel's terrace and your room. You can see the layered stilt houses by day and the twinkling lights of thousands of homes by night. The stay was very comfortable, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Xijiang! 👍"

"The hotel is large and has many guests. Its biggest advantage is the VIP access, which leads directly to the Grand Seven Arches Bridge (Da Qikong Qiao). It's quiet and not crowded with tourists, so we were able to enter and take a pleasant bamboo boat ride from Da Qikong to the East Gate. The next morning, we headed to the Small Seven Arches (Xiao Qikong), strolled through three or four spots along the 68 Waterfalls, and then went back to rest. In the afternoon, we took a bus to the West Gate and visited one more attraction on the way back. Overall, it wasn't tiring. We used the VIP access multiple times, and there's a convenient shuttle bus from the East Gate back to the hotel. Another highlight is the excellent hotel service. Our butler, No. 2, contacted us in advance with a link and was always responsive to our questions. The overall service, including the restaurant, front desk, shuttle bus, and the staff who delivered evening drinks to our room, was all very good. The hotel facilities had a few minor inconveniences: the outlets for making hot water were hidden and already occupied by the kettle and coffee machine, so we couldn't plug in our own kettle. Also, there wasn't a three-prong outlet at the vanity. Despite these small issues, the overall experience was quite good, and the shower's large spray head had excellent water pressure, which was very comfortable."

"As expected from a long-standing benchmark hotel in Guiyang, my overall experience was incredibly satisfying! The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Service was prompt and responsive; all my requests were handled properly. The mini-bar was stocked with local specialty drinks and replenished daily – a thoughtful detail. What truly impressed me was after check-out, I accidentally left my cosmetics in the room. The hotel proactively called me and even helped arrange SF Express to ship them back. They genuinely care about their guests' minor issues and are honest, which is very reliable. I will definitely choose Guizhou Hotel Grand Tower again on my next visit to Guiyang. "This was our second stay at this hotel. Last time, it was the Alber under the French Paris Hotel Group, but it has since been rebranded as the Chinese-owned “Zhenper” and is now one of the seven members of The Leading Hotels of the World in China. Our recent stay provided us with a wonderful experience. First and foremost, its location is excellent. Situated in Guiyang's Guanshanhu District, it's very close to Guiyang North Station and the airport, making it easily accessible. A taxi ride to the Guizhou Provincial Museum is just the starting fare. Downstairs from the hotel is the Ayunduo Warehouse Art District, where popular Instagrammable spots like Du's and Captain George's Cafe are located. There's also the ”Gaoshan Class 3”网红 (internet-famous) tea shop, local Guizhou cuisine, Yunnan cuisine, pizzerias, bakeries, and a unique handmade cultural and creative market. Essentially, what others travel far to experience and check-in for, Zhenper guests can enjoy daily, strolling around countless times, relaxing, eating, and drinking in their own community. If a restaurant is hard to get a table at, you can pick up a dinner number at noon, then comfortably relax in your room or hit the gym in the evening. When the restaurant calls, you just head downstairs – pure bliss! The hotel's design is exceptionally artistic. In the lobby on the first floor, one wall is adorned with Impressionist paintings, while the transparent glass window on the opposite wall reflects the green trees outside – simply beautiful. There's an art exhibition space outside the lobby on the twentieth floor, and during our stay, local Guizhou batik handicrafts were on display. The room amenities were incredibly comfortable. This time, we stayed in the Zhenper Suite, nearly 80 square meters, featuring a spacious living room, bedroom, and walk-in closet. The bathroom, with its black and white patterned tiles, felt both modern and vintage. All the details were wonderfully designed: despite its large size, the room didn't feel empty. My favorite was the sofa lounger in front of the living room's floor-to-ceiling window. The coffee table was daily filled with an array of nuts, fruits, desserts, red wine, and other suite amenities. The bathroom toiletries were the same as those found in Four Seasons hotels, and mouthwash was thoughtfully provided. The velvet slippers were exceptionally comfortable. The night light design deserves special mention. When you turn on the night light switch in the middle of the night, the floor light in the toilet room connected to the bedroom illuminates, meeting your needs for nighttime lighting without disturbing the other person's sleep. This detail, for someone as sensitive to light at night as I am, was the most satisfying. The gym is also not to be missed. While it doesn't have a vast array of equipment, it meets basic needs. Especially in Guiyang, where you're constantly indulging in various delicious foods, a 24-hour fitness center provides a great sense of security. The hotel's restaurant cuisine is also worth trying. Suite privileges include a daily French double dinner; the veal and mushroom chicken soup were particularly delicious, and the desserts were artistic and exquisite. The hotel's Jinsha Bakery on the first floor is fantastic. Any healthy bread you enjoy at breakfast can be purchased at the bakery. I even bought some to give to friends, and the bakery manager arranged for SF Express delivery. However, I believe the patient, meticulous, and thoughtful private butler service is the true soul of this hotel. Butlers Sue and Tina began communicating with me several days before check-in, inquiring about my preferences and requirements. During our stay, I felt there was no need to use the room phone, as Tina was always responsive on WeChat. Especially after breakfast on the second day, hotel manager Gina was already waiting for me at the restaurant entrance. She accompanied us back to our room, listened to my needs and suggestions on-site, and when we returned to the room after going out, I found she had already made adjustments according to my preferences. It truly felt like coming home, which was incredibly touching. I believe no hotel in the world can satisfy all guests' needs, and this isn't necessarily a drawback. On the contrary, when a hotel has the ability to efficiently solve problems and improve things to the greatest extent possible within its scope, it's an absolute plus. Zhenper is a hotel with that added strength. The next time I visit Guiyang, I will undoubtedly choose it again."

"A very comfortable B&B 🌿 They arranged a shuttle service from the bus station, taking us by taxi to the intersection, then switching to a cute little electric cart that took us all the way to the B&B 🛺 No need to worry about luggage at all. What I loved most was the view from the room; it overlooked the river, and the scenery was truly beautiful 😍 The B&B also has a viewing deck on the rooftop, where you can admire the surrounding landscape from different angles, feel the breeze, enjoy the view, and just relax for a bit~ The room I booked also included breakfast + afternoon tea ☕🍰 The room was equipped with a small washing machine and a bathtub for a relaxing soak 🛀🏻, making the stay convenient and comfortable. From the shuttle service and accommodation to the scenery, everything was thoughtfully arranged. Overall, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay 🤍"

"This hotel must be truly unique, nestled within the 'White House' on Huaguoyuan Street. The surroundings are magnificent, with sprawling lawns, ancient trees, and breathtaking scenery. On the other side, it overlooks the Huaguoyuan community, wetland park, and twin towers, offering stunning night views. The interior is luxuriously decorated, and you get a dedicated butler. The only catch is that you need the butler to escort you in and out, as non-guests aren't allowed access. Overall, it's definitely worth staying to experience it."

"The hotel is conveniently located, just a 12-minute walk from Guiyang Station. It's also within walking distance of Qingyun Market and Jiaxiu Tower. A major plus is the zoo right outside the breakfast area, which is great for families and even has staff to guide you. However, the facilities are a bit dated, and it was a shame the executive lounge wasn't open. While there are four washers and four dryers in the laundry room, it's often crowded and unavailable during peak season. The gym is outsourced, but the front desk service and cleanliness are both good."

"I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Anshun for my trip and it exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, check-in was quick, and they answered all my questions. The room was very tidy and clean, even the corners were spotless. The bed was soft and I slept really well. The hotel's location is also great, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. The pool water quality was good too. Overall, no complaints, the service and cleanliness were top-notch, and it's good value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Anshun."
