The service is incredibly attentive, with seamless arrangements for transfers to and from the scenic area entrance. Every staff member is genuinely warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Breakfast is prepared with great care, and they even sent us off with a small gift and drinks for our journey. What truly stands out is that every evening, the guesthouse hosts 4-5 incredibly talented artists performing Dong Grand Songs. Listening to them up close is a truly enchanting experience, like celestial music, and a wonderful artistic treat. This performance significantly enhanced our stay."

The room view was truly amazing; I could see the street scene as soon as I opened the curtains, and it was especially beautiful when the city lights came on in the evening. Lisa provided incredibly thoughtful service, explaining all the facilities in detail during check-in and being readily available whenever I needed anything. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, offering both local snacks and a mix of Chinese and Western dishes, so I could try something different every day without repetition. The experience was truly outstanding. Rabby made the check-out process quick and efficient. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit."

"Kempinski lives up to all the expectations of a five-star hotel, not necessarily in terms of luxury, but because there's simply nothing wrong with it. Everything works, which isn't always easy to achieve. However, these expectations are based on my younger days traveling for business around the turn of the century. For instance, the lack of a coffee machine, with only instant coffee available, feels a bit too 'classic' now. The power outlets aren't very convenient for larger chargers, as there isn't enough space around them. In one of our rooms, the shower was right next to the bathtub without a separate enclosure. Also, the elevators were quite slow. The location and orientation are excellent. One room had a floor-to-ceiling window directly overlooking Jiaxiu Tower on the Nanming River, with a view of Guanfeng Pavilion too. A shopping mall is right next to the hotel, and Wenchang Pavilion and Minsheng Road Food Street are just a ten-minute walk away. Breakfast hours are extended, and the food selection is abundant; there were even five types of porridge alone. The management is very well-organized."

"I chose Gui Lai Xi based on the ratings, and it exceeded my expectations! The hotel's design is innovative, with a white aesthetic that feels particularly warm and stylish. It has a wonderful ambiance and atmosphere, especially since you can see Zhusheng Bridge and Qinglong Cave from the room windows. Facing the bustling crowds outside, it’s quite a pleasant experience. The hotel's location is fantastic; it's close to the riverbank, the ancient alleys, and the intangible cultural heritage food street. Zhenyuan's nightlife is beautiful, and it's most enchanting when the lights first come on in the evening. Standing on the hotel's rooftop terrace at that time, you truly see a river of lights and a city full of tenderness. What's more, the hotel owner is incredibly nice. When we couldn't get a taxi on our departure day, the hotel helped us call one. Because the small town's alleys were under renovation and the taxi was momentarily stuck, the owner personally drove us on an electric scooter to meet the taxi, ensuring we arrived at the bus station smoothly. In short, Zhenyuan is a place I'd definitely visit again, offering beautiful scenery, delicious food, and wonderful accommodation."

"This hotel, tucked away in a cave, is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room is fully equipped with everything you need, the mattress is comfortable, and the toiletries are excellent, making for a worry-free stay. The infinity pool right next to the waterfall is absolutely stunning during 'blue hour' – it's incredibly picturesque. The restaurant, bar, and tea lounge are all set inside the cave, creating a fantastic ambiance for dining, enjoying tea, or having a drink. It's quiet, comfortable, and natural – ideal for anyone looking to unwind for a few days and escape the city's hustle and bustle."

"The hotel is a standard five-star hotel. The service attitude of the girl at the front desk was good and the check-in experience was very good. The hotel is very convenient to the city's attractions, including the ancient city, Fengchi Garden, and Foding Temple, which are only a few minutes' walk away. The wetland park can be reached by bus. The air is very comfortable when strolling by the river in the morning. There are also many restaurants around, especially the Liupanshui specialty food Laoguo Street, which is only a few minutes away. Hygiene: Very clean. "This hotel is pretty good, probably the best in Anshun. It's right across from Hongshan Lake, offering beautiful views and convenient transportation. It's also close to the ancient city, making it super easy to access food, drinks, and entertainment. Definitely the top choice for a vacation in Anshun!"

"At the beginning of the month, my travel companion, “Peking Duck” (my child), and I explored four small cities in Guizhou – Guiyang, Anshun, Bijie, and Xingyi. We thoroughly experienced the karst landscapes, caves, waterfalls, and pastoral scenery, all in a comfortably cool climate. Here's a comprehensive guide to share with everyone! ⭕️ Guizhou Geological Museum (reservations required, closed on Mondays, last admission at 4 PM): You can book a guided tour with fossil restoration activities, which is very interesting. ⭕️ Qingyun Market: A great place to eat and explore (definitely try Guiyang's Sour Soup Hotpot – the flavor is unique compared to other regions). ⭕️ Yelang Valley (watch Nuo opera, two shows daily: 12:00-12:30 PM and 3:00-3:30 PM. Kids who enjoy crafts can try plant carving). ⭕️ I personally don't recommend Zhijin Cave for families with young children or the elderly! However, Zhijin Grand Canyon is highly recommended. Enter via the elevator, and the entire route is a downhill walk, making it very lazy-friendly. The scenic beauty is truly impressive and worth a visit! ⭕️ Guizhou Guanling National Fossil Group Geological Park (the fossil digging area is open, but the museum area will open in late July). ⭕️ Huangguoshu Waterfall (‼️ Water Curtain Cave requires reservations and raincoats are a must!). For a lazy-friendly approach: take the round-trip elevator and capture a panoramic shot from above. If you're not up for a lot of walking, you can skip Tianxing Bridge; seeing the main waterfall is breathtaking enough! And a shout-out to the park staff – every restroom is spotless, some even have toilet seat covers! ⭕️ Fenglin Buyi (consider going in the evening when the lights are on – the scenery is even more beautiful. You can experience Buyi culture, songs and dances, iron flower performances, and other unique shows. There are many fun NPC mini-games in the scenic area. Watching the iron flower show from a boat offers a more direct and spectacular view). ⭕️ Kids will absolutely love a full day at Wanfenglin! Fishing, mini-train rides, woodworking, tie-dyeing, fruit picking, making Ciba (sticky rice cakes), and so much more – they'll never want to leave! When they get tired, relaxing at a popular cafe is pure bliss! ⭕️ Maling River Canyon (known as 'the most beautiful scar on Earth.' The scenic area closes at 5:30 PM. For an aerial view, navigate to 'Maling River Canyon Parking Lot 2'). Tips: ‼️ Guizhou attractions can be physically demanding. If you're traveling with children and have limited stamina, opt for lazy-friendly routes. ‼️ Mornings and evenings are cool, but it can be quite sunny during other times, so bring plenty of sunscreen and mosquito repellent. ‼️ Some attractions require advance reservations, so plan your itinerary accordingly! ‼️ Bring raincoats for Maling River and Huangguoshu, and wear non-slip shoes. ‼️ For Zhijin Cave, avoid wearing long pants or white shoes as it can get muddy! The cave temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius, so bring a jacket. Among the hotels we stayed at, 'Peking Duck' loved the Huangguoshu Kaiyuan Manju Hotel the most. It offers many parent-child activities, new facilities, and delicious dining! We enjoyed a cool summer with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius throughout our trip, without any high-intensity rushing. We experienced city life, majestic gorges and waterfalls, underground marvels, pastoral peak forests, and ethnic minority customs all at once. The best classroom is always on the road; what you see with your own eyes is far more memorable than what you read in books. It’s time to get out there with the kids!"
