The online photos set high expectations, but the reality was quite disappointing. I booked a balcony room, but it turned out to be a terrace room directly above the lobby. I was hoping to relax and enjoy the view from the balcony, but it was covered in bird droppings and insect carcasses – absolutely disgusting and terrifying. I quickly took a photo and didn't dare step out again. I was so exhausted I just collapsed and fell asleep, so I didn't even bother to report the balcony issue to the front desk. Considering it's a mountaintop hotel, the room itself was decent. In the evenings, there were intangible cultural heritage performances, and in the mornings, we watched the sunrise wearing the down jackets provided in the room. The service and other aspects were good overall, but seriously, don't book a balcony room, especially at that price – it's not worth it. The 'terrace' was a disaster zone.

This hotel is located in the direction of the Yungu Temple cable car on the back of Huangshan Mountain, about a 40-minute walk away. On the way, you'll pass by Shixin Peak and the 'Magic Pen Blooms' scenic spot. The hotel faces 'Monkey Watching the Sea,' making it perfect for guests who start their ascent late in the afternoon on their first day. The hotel is very new, and the public areas are quite luxurious. The only drawback is that the rooms are a bit small. They offer a buffet for 198 RMB per person with excellent dishes and a wide variety of fruits; children under 1.2 meters eat for free. The concierge, Xinyu, is very attentive and responds quickly. The hotel also organizes guided sunset and sunrise viewing activities, and there are evening performances. Plus, the view from the observation deck in front of the hotel is already stunning. If there's heavy fog in the mountains and you can't see the peaks from the observation deck, there's no need to climb up to 'Monkey Watching the Sea.'

The room had thoughtful touches like cotton pads and disposable face towels, and the hairdryer was powerful and convenient to use. The bathroom towels were fluffy and soft, and the toiletries were from a well-known brand. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had a very satisfying stay.

Finally, we were able to experience the Grand Hyatt Hefei during this spring break, and it was a wonderful 2-night staycation! The Regency Deluxe Twin room was perfect - very clean, spacious, well appointed and with great city views. We enjoyed the onsen style bath in the room; the pool, steam and sauna facilities were all good. Room service was great, satisfying the midnight cravings of my family. Breakfast had an awesome spread - a balanced variety of local and western dishes. Dinner and drinks at the Club Lounge were pretty good, even for vegetarians. Drink selection was curated very well even if a bit limited. It was a great place to hang out after dinner and drinks, especially after we convinced our family friends to check in and join us the next nigh. Also, shoutout to the great service from the lovely club lounge staff! Special thanks to Lily, our WeChat contact, who went above expectations in being proactive and supported all our needs. We brought up something for improvement that aligns with current industry practice and she happily resolved it during our stay. Great customer service for sure!

Hands down, this is the best five-star hotel in Hefei! Especially the food quality, it's top-notch! 1. **Service**: They contacted me via WeChat a day in advance to confirm my needs. Upon arrival, everything was perfectly arranged, and my room was upgraded. I also received welcome fruits and drinks. From the moment I stepped out of the car to the lobby and then to the front desk, multiple staff members proactively offered to help with my luggage. Every staff member I encountered, from the entrance to my room, greeted me with a smile. When checking out, the doorman actively assisted with my luggage. 2. **Facilities**: The room facilities were all standard and complete, including an air purifier. The AC had low noise, and hot water was instant (within 3 seconds). I didn't find any damaged facilities or noticeable hygiene issues. The toiletries were InterContinental's standard, and they were decent. The toilet paper and tissue paper were comfortable to use. The toothbrush quality was acceptable, but the brush head was small and a bit hard on the gums; I suggest the hotel consider changing them. 3. **Dining (see pictures)**: The variety and taste of the food at the Executive Lounge's Happy Hour were the best I've ever experienced at a hotel – truly excellent value for money! The breakfast quality was also remarkably high, rarely seen even in standard five-star hotels; it was simply stunning. 4. **Location**: It's in the government district, with all amenities nearby and convenient transportation. It's also right next to Swan Lake, offering excellent views. I rarely bother to write reviews, but this time, I genuinely enjoyed my stay and had to give it a thumbs-up! I hope to visit again.

Seeing the hotel promotion on the **, the family chose to stay in Shitai on weekends. It was really a surprise. The hotel is newly built, the courtyard is green and the environment is beautiful, the reception hall on the first floor is spacious and atmospheric, and every staff member I met is greeted with a smile, the service is warm, and the room area is large. The decoration is elegant, clean and tidy, the balcony is green and green, full of green, sitting there drinking tea and chatting is particularly comfortable, and the hotel is a few minutes drive from the high-speed exit, and it is only five minutes to Shitai County. The location is absolutely perfect.

This is probably the best hotel within the Jiuhuashan scenic area. We stayed in an Executive Twin Room in Zone B, which was one of the few rooms facing the sun. The hotel facilities are top-notch, the lobby is grand and uniquely decorated, and the small garden is charming. The room is quite spacious for a hotel within a scenic area, with everything you need, very well-arranged and comfortable. Breakfast is also very rich, with a good mix of Chinese and Western options, which is quite impressive for a hotel on a mountain. The dinner menu also features excellent dishes with a strong local flavor. The hotel service is even better; the staff picked us up from the transfer station, and a young lady helped me carry my suitcase, lifting it the entire way to prevent damage to the wheels from the stone path. When we checked out, Zheng, a front office staff member, introduced us to various aspects of the scenic area and invited us to come back. The cleaning aunties were also very kind and meticulous. This is a fantastic hotel, and I highly recommend it! 👍👍

This Hilton hotel, located in one of Wuhu's landmark twin towers, is incredibly beautiful. Hilton's maintenance standards consistently surpass competitors, and I really appreciate the sense of stability and tranquility here. The corner room is very spacious, offering unparalleled views of both the river and the twin towers at night. I'm so glad Wuhu's landmark is so well-maintained. I hope to stay here again on my next trip back to China. By then, once the Jihe Plaza downstairs is renovated, I doubt we'll see such great prices! Additionally, the room service and the offerings from the pastry shop were excellent. If you're not overly concerned with the fitness facilities, this is undoubtedly the top choice in Wuhu.

TTangshengshengAfter spending two days at the top of Huangshan, I returned and stayed here again, and it felt even more comfortable. The hotel is very close to Yuping Cableway, with a shortcut staircase just a few minutes' walk away, allowing you to avoid the shuttle buses. It's also very near the Ciguang Pavilion hiking entrance, again with a shortcut staircase for direct hiking. This makes it perfect for guests who want to explore Huangshan in depth. The hotel boasts beautiful scenery and an artistic design. You can see the majestic Tiandu Peak and the spectacular Renzi Waterfall, and at night, you fall asleep to the sound of flowing water. The butler service was excellent – very responsive, accommodating every request, and able to arrange everything in advance. Thumbs up! The driver was very skilled, navigating the mountain roads smoothly without causing any motion sickness, and provided timely pick-ups and drop-offs at the high-speed rail station. Thumbs up! The tea from the lady at the tea room was delightful and refreshing. Thumbs up! The restaurant food was delicious, and the chef's skills were top-notch. Thumbs up! The waitstaff were also very pleasant. Thumbs up! Housekeeping was prompt and the room was very clean. Thumbs up! I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Huangshan.

ZzeciYou can truly feel that this isn't just a perfunctory business operation; they've truly dedicated themselves to creating an exceptional product and service. The furnishings and daily amenities in the rooms are of high quality, and everything is meticulously maintained, clean, and elegant. Fresh flowers adorn every corner, both indoors and out in the courtyard. Nestled against the mountain, enveloped by mist and clouds, the entire hotel exudes a unique tranquility found only in the mountains and forests—peaceful and restorative. Every staff member here looks relaxed and treats guests with warmth and enthusiasm. There's no forced politeness, just perfectly attentive service. My personal butler was especially thoughtful, always anticipating my minor needs in advance, making me feel completely at ease and well cared for. I wasn't feeling well and casually mentioned wanting some millet porridge. They went out of their way to arrange it. These small acts of kindness are what truly touch the heart. They say Shilin Cliffs is the best hotel in Huangshan, and experiencing it firsthand, I now understand that this reputation is well-deserved. The price is indeed on the higher side, but all the wonderful experiences complement each other perfectly. The excellent environment, thoughtful details, and attentive service all justify the cost. It’s rare to find such a comfortable and soothing haven in the mountains, a place to slow down and find peace. It was a comfortable and truly healing stay, and when I return to Huangshan in the future, I will choose this place again.

RRebecca CockMy stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill. My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5‑star hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by “Xiao Bao” were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever. Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an English‑speaking staff member who took care of every detail for us—booking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure. Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings. This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

Very Good
JJiankangchangshounvshiThe hotel is very conveniently located. You can get there right after you get off the tourist bus. It is also very close to Jiuhua Street. It is said to be a ten-year-old hotel, but it does not look old. The overall hygiene is still very good. The breakfast is also good. There is no other problem except that there are too many people. There are also vending machines and ice cream in the lobby. If you are greedy and don’t want to go out, you can buy some snacks here. Here I would like to especially thank the young man in the housekeeping department and the master in the engineering department on May 2. On that day, there was a problem with the password lock of my suitcase. I originally wanted the master in the engineering department to help me pry the lock open, and I could buy a new suitcase. The two of them helped me fix it after a long time. I am grateful.

GGuest UserBanyan Tree Huangshan boasts a superb location, nestled halfway up a mountain, surrounded by peaks and offering views of Hongcun and Lucun villages with their white walls and dark tiles. The landscape of Southern Anhui is picturesque, like a painting from afar, and up close you can hear the birds chirping by the stream. Even more impressive than the beautiful surroundings is the exceptional service. Everyone is incredibly enthusiastic, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful. Our butler, D, was especially attentive and responsive to all our requests. When we bought some medicine and had it delivered to a village quite far away, our butler brought it straight to our room as soon as they found out, which deeply touched us. We truly felt at home here. We stayed for six days and were reluctant to leave. The scenery and the excellent service at Banyan Tree Huangshan are definitely worth a return visit.

GGuest UserMy parents, my partner, and I came from Hefei city to Lujiang for a weekend staycation. Our top priority was finding a place that met everyone's needs. [Facility and Service Needs] - Accommodation 🏠 My husband and I work hard, so for our vacation, we just wanted a place with good air, excellent service, and convenient facilities where we could relax. We chose the Guanshanfang, which has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking green hills and a pond. When we opened the windows, the sounds of birds and insects, along with a gentle breeze, filled the room – it was incredibly soothing. - Dining 🍽️ The hotel has an in-house restaurant that serves three meals a day. Breakfast is complimentary, while other meals are self-paid, costing around 100+ RMB per person. The menu offers a good variety, and considering we didn't have to leave the hotel, the food quality and price were acceptable. - Service The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Anything we needed could be delivered to our room, and they patiently answered our questions and offered guidance regarding travel advice and everyday queries. On busy weekends, things occasionally felt a bit rushed, likely because the hotel is relatively new and still finding its rhythm. - Getting Around For those who enjoy hiking and sightseeing, there's a mountain about 500m from the hotel suitable for trekking, with a temple at the summit. Additionally, about 10 kilometers away, you can access the Lunan Chuanzang Scenic Route for a scenic drive up to Zhaiji Mountain for some breathtaking views. My parents thoroughly enjoyed it. If you plan on exploring, driving is recommended. - Other Amenities The hotel features a swimming pool, gym, and laundry room. They also offer sound healing and handmade sachet workshops. Even if you don't venture out, there's enough to keep you occupied and entertained for at least a day within the hotel. I hope they'll add sports facilities like a badminton court in the future, which would surely attract even more guests. Overall, we were very happy we chose Daiaoshanju for this trip; it's definitely worth a visit.

GGuest UserPerfect! As a city dweller, I love finding quiet spots like this to just chill out. The butler mentioned that the lotus flowers will be in full bloom by the end of June – I can't imagine how beautiful that will be! It's located right in the heart of the Yongxing Lake scenic area. For the full Fish Lantern Circle Reunion, you do need to head to the Shaiqiu Square, but you can still see the two fish meet on the bridge from here. If you want the complete experience with better participation, the square is probably best, but if you prefer to avoid the crowds, just sitting in the courtyard and watching is wonderful. You can even see the fireworks and Gatling gun effects! This visit, I spent most of my time interacting with the big white geese, which I really enjoyed! And the big tree in the courtyard is so well-grown and perfectly rounded! It was a very satisfying stay. A quick photo under the big tree turns out especially well, and it wasn't even hot in the middle of summer! After seeing the fish lanterns in Chengkan, the ones in Hongcun just seem like a joke, haha! Apparently, the Tangmo giant ao fish are also beautiful! I'll have to visit sometime.
