"The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to descend into the West Sea Grand Canyon and ascend Bright Summit. It's a truly central spot.
Facilities: I feel this is the best-equipped hotel on the mountain, with an elevator and air conditioning. The rooms are also very new and even have a drying rack for clothes.
Cleanliness: Very good.
Environment: The surrounding environment is fantastic. Personally, I think it's better than Paiyun Hotel and Shilin Hotel, on par with Bright Summit and Yupinglou. The interior design is also very tasteful.
Service: Excellent! There's a butler service, and the front desk proactively upgraded our room type. They also offer guided sunrise and sunset viewings in the mornings and evenings!"

"Very nice hotel in Wuhu. I stayed for one night. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the city. The open floor plan is interesting and enjoyed the heated floors in the bathroom area. The bed was comfortable and large enough for me (6’5”). Breakfast had a large variety to select from, and enjoyed the Chinese dishes the most. The hotel is located right next to the river, and I enjoyed walking on the boardwalk. Great place to stay."

"Before coming, I compared almost all the hotels and guesthouses on the mountain, and Beihai stood out as having the best value for money. The room size was quite decent, and the concierge service from Xinyi was excellent – she was very knowledgeable about the surrounding attractions and routes. The location is also good; it's about a 10-minute walk to Monkey Watching the Sea, which is currently the closest viewpoint for sunrise. Bright Summit is a bit further, probably a 45-minute to an hour walk for the average person. The closest to the hotel is the Yungu cable car, about a 20-minute walk, making it very convenient for going up and down the mountain. The hotel restaurant's breakfast spread was very generous, and the à la carte dinner dishes were also delicious, especially the bamboo shoots and the old chicken soup – so fragrant! The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming. There's also a cat named Yundou, who's plump and adorable and often wanders around the hotel entrance early in the morning. Right outside the hotel, there's also a medical station, a police station, and a coffee shop, which makes the facilities incredibly convenient. While prices on the mountain are high, it's understandable, considering all the food and drinks are carried up by porters. I hope they are compensated fairly for their hard work. Overall, it was a good experience, and the money was well spent."

"Finally, we were able to experience the Grand Hyatt Hefei during this spring break, and it was a wonderful 2-night staycation! The Regency Deluxe Twin room was perfect - very clean, spacious, well appointed and with great city views. We enjoyed the onsen style bath in the room; the pool, steam and sauna facilities were all good. Room service was great, satisfying the midnight cravings of my family. Breakfast had an awesome spread - a balanced variety of local and western dishes.
Dinner and drinks at the Club Lounge were pretty good, even for vegetarians. Drink selection was curated very well even if a bit limited. It was a great place to hang out after dinner and drinks, especially after we convinced our family friends to check in and join us the next nigh. Also, shoutout to the great service from the lovely club lounge staff!

"Hands down, this is the best five-star hotel in Hefei! Especially the food quality, it's top-notch!
1. **Service**: They contacted me via WeChat a day in advance to confirm my needs. Upon arrival, everything was perfectly arranged, and my room was upgraded. I also received welcome fruits and drinks. From the moment I stepped out of the car to the lobby and then to the front desk, multiple staff members proactively offered to help with my luggage. Every staff member I encountered, from the entrance to my room, greeted me with a smile. When checking out, the doorman actively assisted with my luggage.
2. **Facilities**: The room facilities were all standard and complete, including an air purifier. The AC had low noise, and hot water was instant (within 3 seconds). I didn't find any damaged facilities or noticeable hygiene issues. The toiletries were InterContinental's standard, and they were decent. The toilet paper and tissue paper were comfortable to use. The toothbrush quality was acceptable, but the brush head was small and a bit hard on the gums; I suggest the hotel consider changing them.
3. **Dining (see pictures)**: The variety and taste of the food at the Executive Lounge's Happy Hour were the best I've ever experienced at a hotel – truly excellent value for money! The breakfast quality was also remarkably high, rarely seen even in standard five-star hotels; it was simply stunning.
4. **Location**: It's in the government district, with all amenities nearby and convenient transportation. It's also right next to Swan Lake, offering excellent views.
I rarely bother to write reviews, but this time, I genuinely enjoyed my stay and had to give it a thumbs-up! I hope to visit again."

We had our New Year's Eve dinner here, and they even had someone dedicated to picking us up and dropping us off at the entrance. Every staff member greeted us warmly with ”Happy New Year.” On the first day of the ***** New Year, we prayed, enjoyed the snow, and did some scripture copying – it was a truly fulfilling experience! This hotel is trustworthy and comes highly recommended."

TTangshengshengAfter spending two days at the top of Huangshan, I returned and stayed here again, and it felt even more comfortable. The hotel is very close to Yuping Cableway, with a shortcut staircase just a few minutes' walk away, allowing you to avoid the shuttle buses. It's also very near the Ciguang Pavilion hiking entrance, again with a shortcut staircase for direct hiking. This makes it perfect for guests who want to explore Huangshan in depth.
The hotel boasts beautiful scenery and an artistic design. You can see the majestic Tiandu Peak and the spectacular Renzi Waterfall, and at night, you fall asleep to the sound of flowing water. The butler service was excellent – very responsive, accommodating every request, and able to arrange everything in advance. Thumbs up!
The driver was very skilled, navigating the mountain roads smoothly without causing any motion sickness, and provided timely pick-ups and drop-offs at the high-speed rail station. Thumbs up!
The tea from the lady at the tea room was delightful and refreshing. Thumbs up!
The restaurant food was delicious, and the chef's skills were top-notch. Thumbs up! The waitstaff were also very pleasant. Thumbs up! Housekeeping was prompt and the room was very clean. Thumbs up! I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Huangshan.

The furnishings and daily amenities in the rooms are of high quality, and everything is meticulously maintained, clean, and elegant. Fresh flowers adorn every corner, both indoors and out in the courtyard. Nestled against the mountain, enveloped by mist and clouds, the entire hotel exudes a unique tranquility found only in the mountains and forests—peaceful and restorative.
Every staff member here looks relaxed and treats guests with warmth and enthusiasm. There's no forced politeness, just perfectly attentive service. My personal butler was especially thoughtful, always anticipating my minor needs in advance, making me feel completely at ease and well cared for.
I wasn't feeling well and casually mentioned wanting some millet porridge. They went out of their way to arrange it. These small acts of kindness are what truly touch the heart.
They say Shilin Cliffs is the best hotel in Huangshan, and experiencing it firsthand, I now understand that this reputation is well-deserved. The price is indeed on the higher side, but all the wonderful experiences complement each other perfectly. The excellent environment, thoughtful details, and attentive service all justify the cost.
It’s rare to find such a comfortable and soothing haven in the mountains, a place to slow down and find peace. It was a comfortable and truly healing stay, and when I return to Huangshan in the future, I will choose this place again.

RRebecca CockMy stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill.
My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5‑star hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by “Xiao Bao” were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever.
Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an English‑speaking staff member who took care of every detail for us—booking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure.
Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience.
The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings.
This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

FFury.SakuraThe Jiuhua Mountains Julong Hotel, which is conveniently located right at the entrance of the Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area. It was very convenient to venture around the mountain by foot. As for food, we didn’t quite get accustomed to the flavors, especially with the spices. The breakfast at Julong Hotel was good, but it can get crowded before 8 am. There is no gym in the hotel. It snowed on the 3rd day and it was chilly. The room was equiped with heater so it was ok. The walkway outside the hotel room can be very noisy, especially with kids running and adults talking. Otherwise, the overall experience was good.

Selina, our butler, proactively reached out the day before to coordinate, and her service was incredibly thoughtful. Upon check-in, ladies even received a pink Diana rose, which was such a lovely touch! The executive lounge and breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious dishes. The hotel's location next to MixC shopping mall and the museum made getting around, shopping, and visiting exhibitions super convenient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Hefei!

GGuest UserWe booked a 4-day, 3-night package through a live group deal, and it was already great value for money. To our surprise, the hotel concierge even informed us in advance that we could upgrade to a 200-square-meter villa suite – what a huge, pleasant surprise! Our private car could park directly in front of the villa. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to the restaurant, lobby, and other hotel areas, available on-call. Banyan Tree truly sets the standard for hotels; both the hardware and software are top-notch. The service attitude is excellent, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and fresh fruit and pastries are delivered daily. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. At sunset, there are special performances, and you can also enjoy a complimentary travel photography service, with three free photos per room number. From the highest point outside the lobby, you can overlook the Lucun ancient village scenic area, which makes for fantastic photos. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-minute drive from Hongcun and a 20-minute drive from Xidi. It's also only half an hour from Yixian East Station. This hotel comes highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis was a spontaneous trip, just an hour's drive from Hefei. The environment is exactly as advertised, truly the best hotel in the Daiao Mountain scenic area. The most pleasant surprise was the service; someone came to help with our luggage as soon as we pulled into the parking lot, and welcome fruits were already set up in our room. Our two days at the hotel were quiet and relaxing. We even made traditional Chinese medicine sachets, which had a very healing scent, and enjoyed a singing bowl session. The distant sound of the bells 🔔 was quite memorable. A special shout-out to Buyun Restaurant – we ate there two days in a row! The breakfast had a wide variety and beautiful presentation, and the specialty dishes for lunch and dinner were delicious. There was a 30-minute wait for food, which just showed that everything was freshly cooked to order. On the second day, we hiked up Daiao Mountain, reaching the summit in 30 minutes – the perfect amount of exercise.

GGuest UserPerfect! As a city dweller, I love finding quiet spots like this to just chill out. The butler mentioned that the lotus flowers will be in full bloom by the end of June – I can't imagine how beautiful that will be! It's located right in the heart of the Yongxing Lake scenic area. For the full Fish Lantern Circle Reunion, you do need to head to the Shaiqiu Square, but you can still see the two fish meet on the bridge from here. If you want the complete experience with better participation, the square is probably best, but if you prefer to avoid the crowds, just sitting in the courtyard and watching is wonderful. You can even see the fireworks and Gatling gun effects! This visit, I spent most of my time interacting with the big white geese, which I really enjoyed! And the big tree in the courtyard is so well-grown and perfectly rounded! It was a very satisfying stay. A quick photo under the big tree turns out especially well, and it wasn't even hot in the middle of summer! 1. **Service**: They contacted me via WeChat a day in advance to confirm my needs. Upon arrival, everything was perfectly arranged, and my room was upgraded. I also received welcome fruits and drinks. From the moment I stepped out of the car to the lobby and then to the front desk, multiple staff members proactively offered to help with my luggage. Every staff member I encountered, from the entrance to my room, greeted me with a smile. When checking out, the doorman actively assisted with my luggage.
2. **Facilities**: The room facilities were all standard and complete, including an air purifier. The AC had low noise, and hot water was instant (within 3 seconds). I didn't find any damaged facilities or noticeable hygiene issues. The toiletries were InterContinental's standard, and they were decent. The toilet paper and tissue paper were comfortable to use. The toothbrush quality was acceptable, but the brush head was small and a bit hard on the gums; I suggest the hotel consider changing them.
3. **Dining (see pictures)**: The variety and taste of the food at the Executive Lounge's Happy Hour were the best I've ever experienced at a hotel – truly excellent value for money! The breakfast quality was also remarkably high, rarely seen even in standard five-star hotels; it was simply stunning.
4. **Location**: It's in the government district, with all amenities nearby and convenient transportation. It's also right next to Swan Lake, offering excellent views.
I rarely bother to write reviews, but this time, I genuinely enjoyed my stay and had to give it a thumbs-up! I hope to visit again.
