Perfect stay in this amazing mountain. The hotel is well located. Staff is really available to make the stay comfortable. Hotel has all services you need, you forget that you are on the top of a mountain with no access by road. Good job to all people who carry all the stuff on their strong shoulders ! Room was clean, very confortable bed. On the morning the hotel organize a sunrise tour and you have a special jacket in your room as it is quite cold in the morning. The food is great with plenty of delicious choices. I highly recommend.

The location is incredibly convenient, with a variety of resources available around the area for all budgets, making it an ideal choice for any traveler. Special thanks to Jenny and Yanyan Zhang at the front desk, whose friendly and enthusiastic greeting refreshed my tiredness from the 10+hours flight , They kindly upgraded my room and patiently assisted with connecting to the Wi-Fi and proactively registering the vehicle number plate which made my check-in process smooth and effortless. Additionally, they facilitated a companion registration for my relative and offered an extra delightful happy hour. Parker Zhang from the executive lounge was exceptionally helpful, providing valuable tips on local services and transportation, ensuring I had all the information I needed and he is very approachable. ( I did not had my breakfast in the hotel as I was keen to explore more street and local foods outside , however I love their desserts from the welcome fruit platter and the happy, it definitely made with high quality ingredients,the freshest cream and does not taste too sweet (less guilty:) This stay made my first trip back home in five years wonderfully smooth and comfortable. I am truly grateful for the exceptional service and warm hospitality. Thank you for your hospitality making my visit so memorable and I cannot wait to stay with you again :)

A hotel we passed by. The hotel facilities are very good. We can overlook Yushan Lake from our room on the 46th floor. The breakfast is especially rich, with local snacks such as sa soup and steamed cake. Yushan Lake Park is right next to the hotel, and the tall metasequoia, sycamore, camphor and osmanthus trees are very stunning. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and we just found a izakaya and had a great meal

First off, our fault, we didn't take note of the negative reviews of the service rendered in this hotel. It is a beautiful hotel, with amazing details and decorative accents. It is such a waste that the service standard is dismal. The lady at the reception was very dismissive when we checked in, after our long day of hiking. We managed to descend huangshan and reach the hotel about 6pm. She coldly informed us we have to have our dinner (before 8pm) and hotspring (before 9pm). We really scrambled and otherwise, you won't have food, and they would not allow us to use the hotspring voucher for the next day. Next, it might be a ”hotspring” hotel (throw away all preconceived thoughts of onsens), but u are only allowed one use a day, and it is only available from 3pm to 9pm. Next, apparently there is some transport restrictions for this hotel. So you can't just go out of the hotel to the town to eat and come back as there are specific timings u can go out or come into the hotel, via their transport team. You are basically holed in the hotel, which is fine for just one day, but not for longer stays. The food is acceptable, but they really meant it when they say it is a self-service buffet. The lady manager is especially surly. I don't think she was targeting us, she was equally dismissive to all (I guess that is some consolation) The staff delivered us 4 bottles of water while looking at his phone, no eye contact in any way (but this might just us being boomers by expecting some form of hospitality) The lady at the noodle station asked us to get our own soup bowl, while she continued with her douyin surfing.

The SSAW hotel in Hefei is my number one destination. I love everything about this place from the staff at the reception when I arrive to the confort of my room to the location of the place. I always have my breakfast at the hotel. I am very traditional with my choices but the restaurant offers a variety of food. Thank you again for a great stay Annie Clouâtre

The hotel was very clean and the staff was outstanding helping with a few things and even having a staff member guide to a COVID testing place followed up by another gentleman who made sure I got there. Incredible staff. Will stay there again for sure. My apologies as I didn't write down the names of the staff. Wish I could remember as they deserve the recognition for going above and beyond.

It was my first time staying at The Langham Hefei, but I can also say it was my third as I extended my stay twice. The staff's courtesy, warmth and the right level of care started right at the moment I entered the hotel lobby. The wall to wall and floor to ceiling marble can be cold, but The Langham Hefei 's lobby feels warm and welcoming due to the yellow hue of its lighting I believe and its staff. I immediately smelled flowers after I stepped in the lobby, pleasant, not overwhelming. It came from a huge bouquet composed of hundreds of pink lilies, not the pink roses representing The Langham. I prefer lily's smell anyway. The bouquet is by the front desk, so guests could enjoy lilies while waiting for check-in. As a matter of fact, I waited no time. Ada Yang greeted me immediately and checked me in within 2 minutes. I was very glad I moved from the other 5-star hotel which I had been told was the ceiling of the Hefei hotel scene. It took that hotel 10 minutes to check me in. The breakfast experience at The Langham Hefei was also great! The Seasons restaurant is big enough so that the seating was always available whenever I went down, which was not the case at the other hotel. In addition to daily cleaning, House keeping also came in the afternoon to make sure every everything is in good order and ask if additional supplies are needed. After two nights stay, I decided to change my original hotel hopping plan and continued staying at The Langham Hefei. It was again Ada Yang who helped me with the extension. She was warm, professional and efficient as always. Due to my itinerary change, I extended my stay the second time. This time it was Kristen He (XIAO He) who helped me. I experienced the same Langham quality from Xiao He - courtesy, warmth, knowledge and efficiency. She explained to me the responsibilities of each front line role and Langham's efforts to optimize guests' experience.She even went extra miles to ask her manager's permission to give me a complimentary Happy Hour. The Happy Hour is on the 44th floor at The Langham Club where mini buffet and beverage are provided 5:30 - 8:00pm. The staff there, Tracy, Lucy and Anne, were equally exceptional! They were proactive and ready to help. I asked for a Cosmo, but the cranberry juice had run out. Lucy made one with grapefruit juice and it tasted wonderful! Thank you, Ada, Xiao He, Tracy, Lucy, Ann and each every staff I met, you made my stay a memorable one!

I planned to bring my children to climb Huangshan Mountain during the winter vacation. I originally wanted to stay in a hotel halfway up the mountain, but I decided to stay in a hotel closer to the old street because I couldn't get in and out freely. The children chose Huiman among the hotels with high-rise views and garden views. It was really nice to stay there. The day before check-in, Huiman's housekeeper called to ask if we needed to pick up the airport and station. When we learned that we were driving by ourselves, we reserved a charging parking space for us and told us to notify us in advance before arriving on the day. We would greet them at the door and preheat the room. After arriving on the day, the front desk supervisor and housekeeper were very enthusiastic. They helped us take our luggage to the room and introduced the hotel's landscape. Many five-star hotels may not be able to do this. The hotel is adjacent to Xin'an River. The family room we stayed in faces Xin'an River directly. It is a starting fee away from Tunxi Old Street/He Street and Liyang in Lane. It is very convenient to go shopping and eat. The hotel's garden landscape is very good, with a scene at every step, and the layout is also very attentive. If you come in spring, summer and autumn, you can imagine being in it. It is very beautiful and interesting, but the scenery in winter is a bit inferior. The family room is very suitable for a family of three. Such a lovely trip! Highly recommend this hotel for visiting Huangshan, they provide all the kits you need for a hike including rain coat and hiking stick. We also had a nice upgrade for the room which was offered for free. We came from the UK and glad that we stayed here, the staff are all super nice and hospitable! Our room manager Huihui was exceptional, every morning auntie Wang and other aunties in the canteen greets us and prepares breakfast, they all are super nice and friendly :)) would come back again if we were visiting the area!! 特别感谢管家慧慧和王阿姨 还有所有酒店人员带给我们难忘的黄山之旅！

Excellent! This is the best option to stay in the Huangshan area to visit the mountains and surroundings. This boutique hotel is located extremely quietly in the middle of the bamboo forests and tea plantations away from the bustle and hustle, busy streets, people and noisy restaurants- exactly what we needed after a day on the mountain. At the same time it’s only 5-10 minutes away from the South entrance gate, which the hotel will shuttle you to whenever you need. Overall the service and the owners are so so great and helpful with everything. The hotel overall and the rooms are so tastefully designed, high quality, 1000% clean and everything is tidied up (no messy piles anywhere - unlike in other boutique hotels in China). You can conveniently get dinner in the hotel, the seating area is beautiful, quiet, designed perfectly and the food was delicious. Breakfast is Chinese breakfast but they are so sweet and offer cereals and toast if you like, however, i brought some other options for my parents which they kindly kept in the fridge. They also took us to their own tea mountain to watch the sunset and Huangshan Mountain from afar - very special!!! Highly recommend that! The other hiking recommendations (besides than going up Huangshan) were a great addition. I recommend a three night stay, that’s just perfect. Everything is even nicer than on the pictures, a pleasant and unusual surprise!! You will not regret to choose this hotel, i stayed in other hotels in Huangshan before and this is the best option with regards to location (!!), design and service.

Hotel service is very good. Front desk staff, especially Chloe, is very helpful. We requested for non-smoking room and they explained there’s no non-smoking floor in the hotel but they can clean up the rooms off smoke scent before handing to us. On checkin, they personally showed us to our room and asked that we inspect it before accepting. No request is too small. When we told them the room felt cold, they sent someone to help adjust the heater for us. We had a great stay!

The hotel is very close to the airport but a bit far from the city center. It takes about 30 minutes by car to reach Huangshan Old Street, so I can only give it 4 stars. The hotel lobby, restaurant, gym, corridors, and guest rooms are all very new and impeccably clean, deserving a full 5-star rating. The hotel staff were extremely warm and welcoming. They upgraded our room and provided many services for our baby since we were traveling with a 0-year-old. For example, they prepared a baby crib, baby toiletries, and other thoughtful amenities. The service was excellent, deserving a full 5 stars. Although the hotel is quite new, our room’s air conditioning did not provide heating. Even after calling staff for repairs, the issue was not resolved. In January, nights in Huangshan are very cold, and our room temperature stayed around 20°C throughout the night. We had no choice but to keep our baby wrapped in the blanket while sleeping. In the morning, our hands and feet were freezing—it was truly disappointing. I hope the hotel will thoroughly inspect and maintain its equipment, as this is a basic requirement for a high-end hotel. Unfortunately, I can only give 2 stars for this aspect.
