The artistic director of this play is China's emerging drama director Ding Yiten. Director Ding, as a shining new star of the Wuzhen Theater Festival, returns to the place where his dream began with a deep love for Wuzhen. With a unique artistic perspective and integrating the customs of the ancient town, he carefully planned "Yiyuan·Jinse". Director Jia Yaopeng and screenwriter Qiaoqiao jointly created it, and the elite team of Zhejiang Media College Huace Film Academy performed it passionately, painting a long scroll of the customs of the Republic of China. 
"Yiyuan·Jinse" is an immersive drama tailored for Wuzhen Yiyuan Boutique Hotel. It leisurely opens the long scroll of history, using the extraordinary life of Pan Lingyun (prototype Tang Guoli), a talented woman in the Republic of China, and her best friend Jiang Yuemei as ink, to outline a romantic and passionate picture in the wind and rain. Two women with very different personalities met and got to know each other in troubled times, and together weaved a legendary chapter about friendship, love and dreams.
