Join Kim Sims at NW Rockhounds in Seattle for the UV Resin for Beginners workshop on Tuesday, February 27th. This hands-on workshop is perfect for individuals aged 18 and up who are interested in learning the art of UV resin. With a ticket price of $60, participants will receive 30ml of UV resin and have access to all necessary supplies and tools to create their own resin pieces. 

During the workshop, Kim Sims will cover various topics including the different types of resin available, the curing process, embedding items, troubleshooting, and finishing techniques. Participants will also have the opportunity to work with pigments and glitters to create unique optical effects in their resin pieces. 

Optional: Feel free to bring in small objects such as stickers, glitters, seashells, small rocks, or interesting papers to embed into your resin creations. Please note that the objects should be no larger than 1 inch by 1 inch. 

The workshop will take place from 11am to 3pm and will be held in a classroom located upstairs. Please check your email a few days before the class for further instructions. 

Please keep in mind that there is a $10 kit fee payable to the instructor on the day of the class. Cash or check will be accepted for payment. 

Seats for the workshop are limited to 6 students, so be sure to secure your spot early. Please note that tickets for this event are non-transferable and non-refundable.

The best place to overlook the panoramic view of Seattle. This is actually a free community park on the top of the mountain, but the view is really good, so it has become a must-check in attraction in Seattle. From here, you can see the blue and clear seawater of the harbor and the space needle tower in the city center. In the distance is the small city of Mount Fuji, Mount Rainier, the top of the mountain is snowy all year round, like wearing a white hat, very beautiful.
