The Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo, and the Nakanoshima Museum of Art in Osaka not only collect modern art works from all over the world, but also focus on displaying the development of modern art in their respective cities and regions. It selects works with common features from the collections of the three museums to form multiple "trios" to examine modern art from the 20th century to the present from a new perspective and highlight its charm. The exhibition brings together more than 150 works by 110 artists, covering a variety of categories such as painting, sculpture, printmaking, sketching, photography, design and video, and is exhibited in 34 groups.
