Scenic Visions: Mayport OCEARCH and Ferry Tour
Join us for a special tour of the OCEARCH shark research boat with presentation by Chris Fischer, executive director. Chris and his team have been tracking sharks, and the organization is making plans to build a new Headquarters building in Mayport. Following OCEARCH, guests will walk to the St. Johns Ferry, and take a trip back and forth with a stop at the St. Johns Pavilion to listen to experts from the Timucuan preserve.
If you are able, lunch on your own afterwards at the Singleton's Seafood and check out the back room's ship archives.
PLEASE NOTE:  This event requires walking as well as mobility to climb stairs. Please wear closed toe tennis/running shoes.  Full details will be sent prior to the event.
