The 31st MEDFILM Film Festival will be held from November 6th to 16th, 2025. As Rome's oldest film festival and Italy's first festival focusing on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cinema, this year's MedFilm Festival will be held in a hybrid online and offline format.
The eleven-day festival centers on the dissemination and promotion of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cinema, but its content extends far beyond that. To enrich its program, which has traditionally focused on contemporary films, the 30th festival will host a series of professional seminars, university masterclasses, exchanges with young film talents and established masters, literary presentations, and thematic discussions on current hot topics.
Founded in 1995 to commemorate the centenary of cinema and the Barcelona Declaration, the Mediterranean Film Festival (MEDFILM) will continue its commitment to discovering and promoting high-quality films. Especially given the ongoing war situation in central Europe and the Mediterranean region, MEDFILM strives to remain true to its original mission, aiming to become an inclusive, open, listening, reflective platform that promotes cultural exchange and cooperation between Italy and other countries in the Europe-Mediterranean region.

I only used my Colosseum ticket, and the reservation confirmation was quick and convenient. It was hassle-free. Please arrive 15 minutes early for entry; do not be late, otherwise your ticket will be considered expired and invalid.

As soon as I approached the scenic spot, I was attracted by the angel sculptures on both sides of the bridge. When entering Castel Sant&#39;Angelo, you must go to the top to have a look, where you can overlook many ancient monuments on the other side of the river, including a corner of the Colosseum. In addition, the sandwiches at the Central Cafe are good and cheap, but you have to sit there to eat. If the sun is strong, it will be too hot and there is basically no shade.

This small but exquisite museum was originally the private residence of Borghese. There are several sculptures in the house that are amazing. Outside the museum is the Borghese Park. After visiting the museum, you can continue to enjoy the passing of time in the park. It is worth a visit.
