See It On 16mm presents a special 16mm film presentation of COFFY (1973) on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 7:30 pm . COFFY is a 1973 American blaxploitation action thriller film written and directed by Jack Hill . The story is about a black female vigilante played by Pam Grier who seeks violent revenge against a heroin dealer responsible for her sister's addiction. Produced and distributed by American International Pictures (AIP), Coffy was the third Jack Hill film to star Grier, after The Big Doll House and The Big Bird Cage . Grier would go on to boost her career as the leading "femme fatale" of blaxploitation for the rest of the 1970s. THIS IS AN INDOOR CINEMA EXHIBITION. PLEASE PURCHASE ONE (1) TICKET PER PERSON. Upon purchase, ticket will be emailed to you as a PDF attachment from Eventbrite. When you arrive to the event, please show the entrance attendant the bar code on your ticket at the entrance to the cinema, either by holding up your printed version, or by displaying it on your phone or smart device. Attendant will scan it to check you in, and you'll be good to go into the auditorium! CAN I BRING FOOD / SNACKS? NO! This is an indoor screening. M.O.M.M.A . fosters a strong community that encourages healing, growth, and unity among those affected by grief. About the Founder – Tameco Brewster Tameco Brewster, a native of Los Angeles, California, is a mother, counselor, and community advocate who has dedicated her life to helping others overcome adversity. Tameco’s journey into the world of grief support was profoundly shaped by the tragic loss of her son, D’nary Fowler, to gun violence in 2011. This heartbreaking event ignited her passion to create M.O.M.M.A . to provide healing and support to those facing similar pain. Before founding M.O.M.M.A ., Tameco pursued a degree in Substance Abuse Counseling, equipping her with the tools to aid others in their emotional and mental healing.
