Under the expert guidance of BASC shotgun coaches, attendees will have the opportunity to experience clay pigeon shooting firsthand. The event will include a comprehensive itinerary, covering various aspects of shooting. Participants will receive an introduction to BASC, followed by a safety briefing and gun fit session. Additionally, the event will delve into topics such as the reasons behind shooting, best practices, different types of targets, and how shooting can be a hobby or a profession. The coaches will also provide guidance on basic shooting principles. Attendees will get the chance to shoot clays throughout the day, with a lunch break included. After the morning session, there will be a discussion about the shooting experience, followed by more clay shooting. The event will conclude with a debrief and an opportunity for attendees to ask any questions they may have. This event is suitable for both beginners and those with some shooting experience. Lunch will be provided, and participants are advised to dress appropriately for the weather and bring a cap. If you have your own gun, please bring it along with your certificate, eye and hearing protection. Otherwise, let us know in advance so that we can arrange for a gun to be provided. Please note that all attendees must be 21 years or older. The cost for BASC members is £55 per person, while non-members will pay £65 per person.
