PA Park Hangs
Come out for a chill evening at
Blue Mountain Park
!
This event is for anyone who would like to connect with people from the '98 PA grad class.
You don't have to be a grad from the same year, or even from PA; everyone is welcome.
Come with your significant other, with your kids/family/friends, or on your own if that's what you prefer. There will be plenty of room at the park for whoever can make it. Show up whenever; stay as long as you like.
The neighborhood has lots of cuisine options nearby, so bring some food and good vibes for a quality hangout session with people you haven't seen for a while. There's a spray park, fields for games, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on as picnic tables are limited.
Grab a free ticket to receive updates if there are any and so we know if people are planning to show up :-)
Please pass this along to
everyone
you have contact details for - we'd hate for anyone to miss out because they didn't get the open invite.

2025 TFA LEGACY GOLF CLASSIC | GreenTee Country Club Westwood Plateau Sky
Jul 4, 2025 (UTC-7)ENDED
Coquitlam
UBC football head coach Blake Nill has asked for the Thunderbird Football Alumni’s assistance in maximizing allowable scholarships for the 2025 season. Currently the program only funds ~ 60% of allowable scholarships. The T.F.A. have set a goal to match our 2024 contribution of $50,000 to close the scholarship gap.
We are looking for people and companies to become sponsors at several different levels to help us achieve this goal. All sponsors will have the opportunity to have their company or personal name attached to a TFA scholarship that will be presented to members of the 2025 football team. We need your involvement to help make a positive impact on today's T’Bird Football Student Athletes! Today's Thunderbird players are tomorrow's Thunderbird Alumni. T’Bird For Life! (TB4L).
The 2025 TFA Legacy Golf Classic will reinforce our TBird For Life (TB4L) philosophy by providing an opportunity for alumni and friends to get together for a day of golf, connection with football alumni from all eras and raise funds for today's Football Student Athletes.
The day's events include shotgun start, buffet dinner, and auction items!

Ryan is a devoted husband and father, a steadfast volunteer in his community, hard-working, life of the party.
Diagnosed in May 2024 with stomach/esophageal cancer. Radiation, chemo, surgery and more chemo, but with a positive prognosis. Thought cancer was gone and excited to get back to doing the things he loves and after only 2 months received the devastating news that the cancer had returned (in the pleura) and that he is terminal.
He has said since the beginning of this journey he wanted to do a fundraiser “blow-out” to help others fight this disease and now that he is unable, his family has taken on the task as a gift to him.
We are taking action to do a
“blow-out”
fundraiser to change the future of many people affected by cancer. We are fundraising and raising awareness to unite and inspire everyone to take control of cancer.
The
"Blow-out"
event is on July 12th, called

There will be a limited number of tickets available at the door. Cash or e-transfer is greatly preferred.
All proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.
If you would like to stay overnight with a tent or travel trailer, there is plenty of space.
Please let us know beforehand.
We hope we can count on your support for our fundraiser. No matter the amount, your gift will make a difference - it all adds up!

Restorative Yoga with Sound Therapy | Jai Yoga Studio
Jul 13, 2025 (UTC-7)ENDED
Coquitlam
Feeling fragmented by stress, noise, or the constant demands of life? Step into a sanctuary of profound renewal. This unique event blends the deeply supported stillness of Restorative Yoga with the immersive, resonant field of Sound Healing – creating a powerful pathway to holistic restoration and inner peace.
What You'll Experience:
1.
Deeply Supported Restorative Yoga
: Surrender into gentle, prolonged postures fully cradled by the floor, the wall, and an array of comforting props (bolsters, weighted items, blankets, blocks). This minimizes effort and maximizes physical release, actively guiding your nervous system into the vital "rest and digest" (parasympathetic) state.
2.
Harmonizing Sound Healing:
As your body finds profound stillness, be enveloped in the resonant vibrations of crystal singing bowls, gentle gongs, chimes, and other harmonic instruments. This sonic immersion washes over and through you, deepening relaxation and facilitating energetic balance.
Benefits:
Accelerated Deep Relaxation:
The physical support of yoga combined with the brainwave-entraining frequencies of sound accelerates your journey into deep states of calm, melting away chronic tension and stress held deep in your body.
Quieted Mind & Emotional Release:
The stillness invites mental chatter to settle, while the resonant sound waves help untangle anxious thoughts and release stored emotional stagnation, fostering profound mental clarity and emotional ease.
Enhanced Nervous System Reset:
This powerful duo provides a double signal to your nervous system, profoundly downshifting stress responses and promoting long-lasting feelings of safety, balance, and restoration.
Holistic Rejuvenation:
Experience more than just relaxation; feel a deep sense of energetic alignment, inner spaciousness, and renewal that untwists knots in both body and spirit. Reconnect with your innate tranquility and resilience.
Come, Surrender & Be Transformed
Allow yourself this essential pause. Let the supportive poses cradle your body and the resonant soundscape bathe your being. Release the weight of the world and discover a vital oasis of calm, clarity, and profound inner harmony within. Emerge feeling deeply restored, reconnected, and revitalized.
